I wanted a pretty out there design and made it pretty technical to construct. Ended up with a super unique ring that will never be replicated (multi metal, diamonds on the outside, engraved message on the inside that was etched) and got progress photos because as an engineer I love to see how things progress knowing that it would look unfinished until it was ready. I discovered that it was built in quarters, someone had to draw the fern on the gold, the internal engraving was etched to stand out and it's a pretty amazing ring. We also went through a few irritations to get to the design I was after and people are always amazed when I point everything out Will definitely be back for an anniversary present (also had custom diamond earrings made by combining some of my wife's jewellery - 1 carat diamond earrings with Murano earrings from Venice and then combined with platinum to make something funky that turned out amazing). I think Shaun loves the challenge Also my review is super late as well got married almost 4 years ago and only just remembered to give a review

I originally bought an engagement ring off Shaun a few years back. He made the entire experience seamless and took on every challenge with a smile even when I couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted. I recently had 2 wedding rings made by Shaun and he gave us an awesome, personalized experience that made us feel welcome and valued. Not to mention the amazing quality and craftsmanship of his products. Long story short - Shaun is utterly fantastic at what he does. Cannot recommend enough!

My husband and I first came across 76 Design in the Air NZ magazine, when we saw their Rockabilly line of jewelry and fell in love with their style. We then made contact with Shaun & Ange and have had nothing but excellent, friendly service from them. Shaun and my then-fiance worked together to design and create my beautiful engagement ring, planning ahead to the wedding bands we'd seen in the Air NZ mag. When the time came, we then worked with Shaun to customize the wedding bands to fit the Rockabilly style but with our own special take on it. Since then, we have returned to the shop many times - either to scope out the cabinets for new shiny treats, or just for a chat while we get our rings polished up. Shaun and Ange are always welcoming and always thinking of new and creative options for their clients. They're an amazing team with awesome ideas, and never fail to create a distinctive piece which will draw attention & admiration. The amount of comments we get on our jewelry is testament to 76 Design's talent. 10/10 would recommend.

This place is amazing!! Shaun, Ange and Matt are awesome. From the first time I walked into the store in search of a special gift for my girlfriend, to going back in to get an engagement ring made for her, to going back to have our wedding bands made, they made the whole process easy and exciting! Shaun helped me put ideas together and gave me realistic options for prices to give us the best possible pieces within our budget. They were really patient, fantastic to deal with and totally committed to making jewelry that we wouldnt just be happy with, but would love forever and that exactly what they did.

SeventySix Design assisted my now husband to craft a beautiful timeless engagement ring for me which I knew absolutely nothing about, and I adore it - this is a big feat to accomplish as I am a complete control freak and very particular. Well done! We then went on to design our custom wedding rings with Shaun, who always seems to know just the right amount of guidance to give at the right time. I also have lovely simple but symbolic rings making note of each of our daughters' initials and birth dates crafted by Shaun, then for our 10th wedding anniversary, Shaun re-modeled my wedding ring to make a stunning eternity ring. Throughout each of these interactions that we have had with Ange and Shaun, they have always been knowledgeable, helpful, great listeners and very passionate about their craft. Thank you both so much for creating such amazing pieces of jewelery that signify such very special events for us.

Eight years ago we walked into 76 Design and met Shaun and Ange - it is not very often you find a pair like them, a true craftsman and an artist. Together we created an engagement ring followed by two wedding bands, the entire process was not only creative but personalised and the service was perfect. To this day they are still creating pieces for us, sometimes we just go into the shop, look in the cabinets and have a chat. Shaun will always clean and check our jewellery, it is this after care service that makes a difference and shows they are really proud of what they do. We have made many proud recommendations of 76 Design over the years.

Shaun and Ange are amazing! Really lovely people and they've been fantastic to deal with. Shaun made our wedding rings and I am still SO in love with my rings! Honestly I wouldn't change a thing about them. I also have a beautiful custom made sunflower necklace which I also love very much. Thank you guys! Will definitely be back again :)

These guys are amazing, bespoke design jewellery, I have bought lots of jewellery from there including our wedding and engagement rings. Shaun is super talented and I always get treated well by Ange who really understands what you want in terms of style and budget. I love going to their shop to look at their beautiful jewellery and would recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful designs.

My fiancé and I are Samoan and so we wanted something to represent our culture and Shaun made our wedding bands with Samoan patterns and they are beautiful 😍 would definitely recommend!

Shaun is a delight to work with! We had a custom engagement ring made, and he happily worked within our budget, letting us know all our options. The ring is absolutely perfect and exactly how I imagined. If you have a chance to work with Shaun and Ange, go for it! :)

You know every time you make one of life's big steps they are filled with so many memories. My husband worked with Shaun in bringing his idea of an engagement ring design alive. Jonathan thought hard about the line of work I do and the style I would love. With Shaun's individual approach and skill it came to life without any input from non the wiser me. (That's saying alot) Daily I look down at this ring and can't think of anything more beautiful and suitable. After the engagment we both went to Seventy-six Design to design our wedding bands, both of which are totally unique. The experience was pleasant, fun and relaxing. Both Ange and Shaun took the time to discuss options in a comfortable environment. I love going into the shop to say hi. It's never any trouble to give my rings a buff and polish and clean my beautiful diamond. The quality of the craftsmanship speaks for itself and I love my Bling 💍💍💍💍💍 So many happy memories I walk round with on left hand.

If you're after amazing jewellery and incredible customer service this is the place you need to go! We found 76Design when needing to get our wedding and engagement rings remade 10 years ago after they were stolen. Shaun and Angela made the upsetting experience so much easier, they were so empathetic, friendly, down to earth and instantly made us feel comfortable and confident that we had found the right place. Shaun's knowledge, ability to just "get" what we wanted and guidance was second to none! We have since gone to them over the years for many other pieces. The creativity and passion he pours into his work is seen in every piece. And Angela's wonderful bubbly personality makes you feel so special as soon as you walk through the door or she answers the phone, that combined with her creativity and design background mean that she understands what you're after and, like Shaun, "gets it". I've recommended so many people to them, and will continue to do so, because they are the best!! If we had the money I'd be buying everything and getting them to design so many more magnificent pieces!

It's not easy to find a true craftsman these days that will take you step by step through one of the most intimate and exciting things you could design.... a engagement ring. I had an idea of what I wanted but Shaun helped me from scribbles I made on paper into it a reality. Helping me find a diamond and making my design work after a few tweaks to improve and refine my design. I couldn't have done it without them. It was a really fun experience start to finish. I couldn't imagen going anywhere else. Highly recommend!!!

I came across SeventySix design while I was visiting Auckland. Shaun was super down to earth and understood exactly what I wanted, I had the ring shipped to me so didn’t see it until it was finished and it was perfect. Fantastic communication, and a beautiful ring! I hope to visit the store again next time I’m in Auckland.

My fiancé got my ring designed and made by Seventysixdesign and I have never been more in love (the fiancé comes close second)! He has told me that he could not fault them - everything from their customer service, ideas around designs and delivery to the uk made it easy and he was confident I would love the ring! These guys are amazing. It's refreshing to go into a store with sincere people who love what they do and that's why they are there instead of mass market jewellery stores all for the sale. If you want beautiful hand made works of art either designed by them or together with you, go there for a high quality, beautiful piece. Or be like me who keeps going back..... can't get enough. These talented craftspeople blew me away with their attention to detail and ability to understand exactly what I was after in my wedding rings. The result was better than I could've ever hoped for and I really enjoyed the process of creating beautiful designs with them.

Ordered one of their beautiful Frangipani pendants online. Was so easy and Ange kept in contact right up to the delivery. It is darling and I'm already looking for my next piece!
