I highly recommend this lovely jewelry boutique in Nelson. It was by chance that I walked through their doors while on holiday down south. I asked to have my late husband's wedding ring combined with mine in a new design. As it is of high sentimental value, I very much appreciated Yvon's patience and empathy to take me through different designs. The end result is beautiful and just as I envisaged. Huge thank you once again!

Paul and I wanted our wedding rings to be special and unique. Jewel Beetle made that possible by creating rings that we designed using Pounamu that we provided. They turned out better than we could have imagined and the workmanship is amazing! The price too was very, very reasonable. We love our rings, they are two of a kind and very special to us. Thank you for making our day even more special!

I have no hesitation in recommending the jewelers at Jewel Beetle to anyone requiring work on jewelry. They had no hesitation in giving a quote without me being committed to engage their services. The quote I was given for my engagement ring to be remade was clear and itemized with options on quality of the center diamond. Nothing was left to chance and ring size was checked again during the process of remaking. I was absolutely thrilled with the finished article and am very pleased to be able to wear it again.

I recently visited New Zealand, and fell in love with it. I decided I wanted an iconic silver fern leaf necklace to take home as a reminder of my wonderful trip. However, I wanted one with the leaf set horizontally, rather than hanging as a pendant. When I explained to the jeweler what I was looking for, she immediately offered to alter one of their existing pendants and attach it to a chain for me. She helped me select a chain, and measured the length to ensure it would fit exactly as I wanted. She was even kind enough to do it for me right away (which was so wonderful as we were due to leave NZ later that day). The service and piece I received were both flawless. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The price was very reasonable as well. So if you find yourself looking for jewelry in Nelson, I wholeheartedly recommend Jewel Bettle.

When we discovered that Jewel Beetle ran a create your own custom wedding rings workshop, we knew it was for us! The workshop was fantastic - Yvon walked us through the whole process, explaining and guiding us through each step. It was great to be able to design and create exactly what we wanted, and to transform the small strips of metal into beautiful rings. We're really happy with the results, the rings are exactly what we wanted - simple, elegant and meaningful. Had a fantastic evening with Yvon and Allison at the helm. 😊 They were friendly, helpful & informative and offered suggestions or help if you wanted it. Otherwise they left us to it, letting our imaginations go wild! We went as a mother daughter (a gift from my daughter) and thouroughly loved the creative process of hand making our own rings. WOW!✨ What an experience!✨ I attended an evening of creative bliss, my Ring Fling at Jewel Beetle and i couldn't be more wrapped with the whole adventure! Smooth communication and clear direction was a joy! The, Ring Fling evenings are something i would pay any dime for! To design your own ring then, have it cast in silver *with a possible option of gold*!! Why wouldnt you take up the chance!! Definitely go in with an idea, saves alot of pondering time that can be well spent on technique of the final product. I had my idea already and it still took a good 2-3hrs. Simple is better! I went with geometrical shapes and i love it!! Hope to attend again in future - if i can!! Haha! Thank you ladies!! A treasure for a lifetime, through generations!! 💕

We recently commissioned Jewel Beetle to make a ring for our Daughter’s 21st birthday. From initial ideas and concepts through to the final design and eventual ring, we found the whole process really enjoyable and exciting. Allison ensured we were totally on board with any suggestions and easily accommodated our ideas and translated them into the finished article. We would certainly use Jewel Beetle in future, the excitement shown to bring the ideas to reality and a bespoke piece that has that has that personal connection between jeweller and client is an awesome feeling.

We went into Jewel Beetle about 9 years ago when we were on holiday in Nelson and I fell in love with a ring that would be my engagement ring, love the unique design and we service we recieved even via email was wonderful to ensure this special piece of jewellery was a perfect fit and exactly what I wanted!
