Timoti & Morganne are a pleasure to deal with. My order was a bit rushed but it was no problem to them, they made it work! And Timoti created what i wanted and so much more. The two taonga are spectacular the craftmanship stunning. Lots of attention to detail even with the plated/braided neck piece. I was looking for a taonga for my moko 21st birthday. I had seen a few other taonga from several sources, which all were wonderful but nothing stood out. I was running out of time and came across Tim's website and instantly found the one and only Kotuku. I rang and spoke to Timoti and subsequently purchased this very special taonga that grasped the character of my moko. The taonga arrived the very next day from the South Island and when it was presented to my moko, she immediately fell in love with the āhua, wairua and aroha of this piece. I have been communicating with both Morganne and Tim from Taonga by Timoti. I was looking for specific set of earrings, after contacting Garth Wilson he recommended Taonga by Timoti. I looked them up on Google and accessed their website and found their story to be as unique as the Pounamu from the river they live near. I ordered my first 2 pairs of earrings and was pleasantly surprised and moved at the beauty of each piece, simple and modern. I'm not too sure about other Maori's, but I was often to scared to buy myself Pounamu as there was a sitgma surrounding buying pounamu for yourself. Through a lot of Prayer and the information Morganne sent me made me feel very comfortable to buy pounamu for myself. I ordered a set of earrings in a simple shape and I felt the pounamu had a quality and touch that enveloped me in peace and rightfulness and I felt the pounamu had been treated with love and respect.
