Reviews of Heart in Diamond

An emotional experience having a diamond made from my husband's ashes and Kara's guidance was most helpful. I found an idea for a pendant on the internet, made a few alterations and the jeweller in my small town did a brilliant job setting the diamond using the gold from my husband's wedding band. I would not hesitate to recommend Heart in Diamond to others wanting a lasting memento of their loved one and something that can be passed on to the next generation.

What can I say - the entire ‘Heart in Diamond’ process has exceeded my expectations! Kara is a beautiful person to front the NZ side of the company, she has been an absolute pleasure to work with and communicate with. I felt comforted with her support and guidance. The team in Finland who transformed my Dad into the brilliant orange diamond were also great with sending updates and keeping me informed.
I was incredibly close with my Dad, and as I am only young, having him at the plot and no longer being near him didn’t feel right for me. I felt I needed to keep him and his strength close to me somehow. Heart in Diamond has answered my prayers.
I’ve had the diamond set into a ring that already had deep meaning to me. While my stone is the smallest size you can select, it still shines brightly! I’m still in awe that my loved one is contained in this luminous diamond on my finger.
This piece is now the most treasured item I own. I cannot express my gratitude enough!
Heart in Diamond is an amazing service, I am so happy it exists and hope other people around NZ can connect with Kara to honour their loved one.
Thankyou,
Danielle Meenagh

Wow, Wow and Wow again.
My husband Juan came from Isle of Man to live in NZ in 2000. I came from UK 2003. We met in 2008, married in 2009 and looked forward to a good long life together.
However Juan kept saying he would be dead before he reached 60 years of age. Earlier this year, aged 52 years he died. (Be careful of your words as eventually they become your destiny.)
He was cremated as he wished, but it left me with a problem as his family wanted his ashes returned to IoM and Juan wanted to be scattered in our local forest, where we spent many a happy hour as he cut up dropped trees for firewood for the needy of our town.
Then I found Kara. From the start I felt I'd come home to someone who could help me solve my dilemma.
Having read the onsite blurb I considered having two diamonds made; one for my daughter who adored her step-dad and one for Juan's Mum. With Kara's support I gathered some of Juan's ashes and sent him off on an adventure to Finland.
I loved the fact that I got frequent emails from Finland to explain the process and update me on progress.
While eagerly awaiting his return, I upgraded a cross-stitch map of IoM that I originally made for Juan in 2013, marking places that were important to him in his life there, to include changes in his life in NZ,
I added a special pocket into which I have placed the most gorgeous red (The colour of the IoM flag plus courage) diamond, more beautiful than I could ever have imagined and have sent him back to his Mum, family and homeland. The remainder of his ashes stay in his "summer forest" urn until the current restrictions lift, allowing me to place him as he desired.
My daughter chose a blue diamond, as it was Juan's favourite colour and her diamond too exceeded expectations. She is considering how best she wants to display it and, meantime, keeps it in the gorgeous copper container it arrived in.
Thanks to Kara (and the Finnish team) who's love and support got me through a very difficult time.

An absolutely beautiful piece of jewelery with irreplaceable sentimental value. Thank you Kara for your brilliant communication, empathy and just general service that you provided. My mum was blown away by what we achieved for her and the fact we could include her mum in such a sentimental item will be something she will never forget. Thank you so much!

I was very pleased to find that I could access this service via their NZ agent in New Plymouth.
It took about 4 months (during COVID) from ashes to beautiful diamond which I am very happy with.
It's an easy process and Kara is very helpful to deal with.

I had heard about the process of turning loved ones remains into diamonds from a friend so prior to Mums passing, I spoke with her about it. Mum thought it was a lovely idea so I began searching for a company that did this and was pleased to find Kara from Heart in Diamond in New Zealand.
Kara is quick to answer emails and provide information. The information pack I received was comprehensive and the instructions were easy to follow. When the material is sent away, you start receiving updates of each stage of the process and nearing the end was so exciting! I was sharing the updates with my work colleagues so they were as excited as I was to see my pendant when the parcel arrived.
There was a delay in receipt of our order through no fault of Kara’s but she kept us informed all the time and the wait was worth it. The ladies in the family now have two beautiful white diamond rings and a beautiful blue diamond pendant as keepsakes of our Mother and Grandmother. The diamonds come to every family event that Mum would have attended and there are always comments about how beautiful the pieces are.
Thank you to Kara and Heart in Diamond for the everlasting keepsakes that will continue to be passed down through the family.
