L.Just 2 weeks before my spontaneous wedding, I was frantically looking for a wedding ring. I didn’t have a huge budget or a clear idea of what I wanted or could get with the budget I had. Trond and Anna (husband and wife themselves) worked with me to make something I could cherish forever. In the end, I came away with a ring I’m excited to wear for the rest of my life. In less than 2 short weeks, Trond handmade my wedding ring. It was so special to have a locally made ring. In addition, I appreciated that they could tell me exactly where the materials came from: the gold was from New Zealand (making it extra special) and the diamonds were from Israel. And of course, the ring itself was made right here in Queenstown! Thank you, Goldfields!
D.My wife and I purchased our wedding bands from Trond. Top class customer-service. Top quality craftsmanship and excellent value for money. Using local gold (which he showed us pre and post polishing which was cool) he made a unique band for my wife to fit around her engagement ring and hand-crafted a hammered gold band for myself. He also polished my wife's engagement ring for free (even though we didn't purchase it off him), engraved our wedding rings with the date of the wedding, resized them and soldered her engagement ring and wedding band together. Had I not already bought the engagement ring, in hindsight I would have bought that there also such was the impression Trond and the team had on us. Thanks to all at Goldfields!

J.I can’t speak highly enough of Trond and Anna and the rest of the team at Goldfields. My engagement and wedding rings were designed and made by Trond and he in hindsight had the patience of a saint!! I knew what I wanted but had no idea how to articulate it - he learnt very well how to speak Josie!
A year later after the birth of our daughter I received another ring (beautiful but not made by Trond).
This ring looked great for first year but then broke and broke again and the other companies feedback??
Don’t wear it every day then just use it for special occasions!!! (After I spent a lot of money with them repairing it!!)
I went to see Trond and he RE -MADE this ring for me to make sure it was done right once and for all. It was 1000 x better than what the mainstream jeweler had done.
His workmanship, attention to detail , talent, kindness, and the pride he takes in ensuring his customers are happy is second to none.
Many of my friends have had their rings made by Trond and all say the same thing. His work is incredible and it’s exceptional value.

C.I purchased a blue pearl ring when I was visiting from the U.S. back in January. I fell in love with the quality and integrity of the color and its delicate white gold setting. As I worked my way north, ending in the Bay of islands, I checked out other jewelry stores to see what they offered in the way of blue pearl jewelry, but none came even close to my ring.

R.Absolutely the best service and such lovely people. My rings were stuck on my fingers and would not come off no matter what I tried. M.December 2108 I had my mothers engagement ring which had two tiny diamonds and some diamond chips, made into two drop pendants. The jeweller put a chip into each bail, and a diamond into each of the pendants. He also used the gold from the engagement ring, which keeps the sentimentality of the pieces. The workmanship is amazing and the cost very reasonable. I would highly recommend Goldfields Jewellers.
C.This is the place to go to for that something special. Such a great range of local artists and Trond has amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail. Some truly beautiful and unique pieces. Wonderful, friendly staff who really know there stuff and are willing to go above and beyond. Cannot recommend highly enough.
