Highly recommend! The jewelry is made of authentic New Zealand greenstone (pounamu), not imported jade. The design of each piece is unique. When looking at other stores you could find the same necklace in each one. However, every piece at Waka is handcrafted in New Zealand and not mass produced out of country like a lot of the other jewelry is around town. The pieces are truly beautiful here. Plus the customer service is phenomenal; they aren’t pushy sales people who want you to buy the most expensive thing. I couldn’t recommend a better place to go to!

The most beautiful jewelry I have seen here! Each piece is stunning, unique and beautiful . I highly recommend coming to see what they do with the beautiful natural stones and jewels of New Zealand. The staff are expert jewelers!

We were just looking around the shop and expect nothing, but then we found this unique stone which said only to be found in westsouth coast area in new zealand, it's really a beautiful one, and we're glad to get that. And the other days we're looking around other greenstone shops there's none like that, so we're happy to get it in Waka shop:) and we think there price is pretty much comparable with other shops in town.
