I got great service on 3 different occasions buying from them. My first experience of the The Village Goldsmith was buying a present for a special birthday for my wife. They re-created a pendant that had sold out of on their Online catalogue for me. As I had left it a little late, they were unable to make it in time for the big day, so they printed a beautiful card with a message for my wife that I could give her on the day. The pendant was even better than I imagined, was presented in a beautiful wooden box, with a adjustable gold chain. I couldn't have been happier, and my wife just loves it as well...

Even though I only had a small job I wanted done - a security chain on a gold bracelet that had belonged to my mother - I was treated by the staff as though I were buying a diamond ring. I had a great experience. Me and my partner came to wellington just for one day back in may, and I got this wonderful sunflower necklace there. You can get great jewelry on a budget! The morning before we had to leave the city, my necklace broke as soon as I put it on (which def happens sometimes, it’s life) , I rushed to the store and they repaired it in their shop straight away, and ever since, my necklace has been solid, i have been wearing it almost every day. We had two really great experiences with the Village Goldsmith. The first was for the first pair of earrings my husband ever got me me. We were a young couple that clearly didn't know much about jewelry and were still building our finances so didn't have a lot of money to spend. The second was to assess how to fix my grandmother's diamond from her engagement ring that we used in my engagement. The diamond had chipped and I was beyond gutted.
