BestStart Montessori The Children’s Home provides beautiful care for all children. Our vibrant, energetic toddler is developing so well since she has started. Her language, passion for learning, and for life continues to grow. The teaching team are warm, friendly and very supportive, they listen to you and understand what is important for your child. They work alongside you as a parent to support your child's strengths and development. The impact that they have made on our daughter's life thus far is just wonderful. She is developing so well and we really do credit much of that to the staff at BestStart Montessori The Children’s Home. The centre administrators always have a smile on their face and are so accomodating to us parents aswell, you will feel like home when you are at BestStart Montessori. They are understanding and kind hearted group of people. If you are looking for a centre that is community focused and that has your aspirations for you and your child at heart, I would strongly recommend BestStart Montessori The Children’s Home.

This place is magic. The teachers are all Monti qualified and show extreme interest and care in each child (collective and individually). There is an abundance of resources available. The Children's House has set the standard for all Education Centres.

The teachers are very nice and helpful, in the beginning I was worried about that it maybe takes long time for my kid to settle down, but it just took few days, my kid is enjoying the time there and likes the teachers.

Excellent place for your little one to nurture and prepare for primary school. We actually skipped a dozen pre schools in our area to enrol our child in the children's house, which is pretty much a 20 mins drive in peak traffic. No regrets. The structure is amazing and the kids feel loved by all teachers alike. 6/5 stars!

We cannot praise this place enough, not only we have a strong belief in Montessori but the tremendous support and love the staff has shown to us. We watch our little girl blossoms from all sort of practical and social skills, from a timid person to a 5 year old who is confident to share her feelings, to be kind yet standing up for herself, to make friends but also just as capable to working on her own. I have 2 children who have gone through Montessori Children’s House. I would have 3 enrolled if it was not for our change in residence. I can’t speak highly enough about the centre and staff. If you believe these early years are the most precious for your child’s growth and development then this is the childcare you want. The centre practises the philosophy founded by Dr Maria Montessori. Guiding the children in a prepared environment where they have freedom of choice. Learning self-awareness and discipline to be confident and self-motivated. Whilst caring for the environment and those around them. Although they are a Montessori pre-school the fees are very reasonable because they come under the Best Start brand. The centre Manager is very accommodating with what ever your individual needs are. She is very much hands on with the children who she genuinely loves in her care. The staff grow a great bond with the children that help them feel safe and loved. My children love attending each day and look forward to going to ‘Monty’. There are 2 rooms Ruma Iti (2 year olds) and Ruma Nui (3 and above). The centre has a great transition process. Whether your child is toilet trained or not, the Ruma Iti ladies help guide your child to wear big boy pants! So by the time they reach Ruma Nui they are more independent and ready to take on the next exciting stage of life skills. Utilising more complex and expensive Montessori equipment. The outdoor environment is huge with a courtyard, play ground, sand pit, small whare, with real grass and big beautiful trees. Lots of room to explore! The centre has regular events you can attend to be apart of with your child, their teachers and friends. Storypark is the online tool used to get regular updates on your child and is a great way of communicating. So it goes without saying I will miss Montessori Children’s House. I will forever be grateful for all the teachings given with unconditional Aroha. I know the very first seeds planted from Monty will only blossom as fruits in Primary School and later in adult life.

(Translated) I was sent to the kindergarten at the age of two. I happily said goodbye to me on the fifth day of the delivery. The environment is very good and it can quickly help the children to integrate into the new environment. My baby is four years old and I have never rejected going to kindergarten. Very patient, the only downside is that there is no lunch. It is a headache to prepare breakfast every morning.
