Our daughter attends Kidstown. The owner and teachers are dedicated to making Kidstown a positive and fun learning environment. We love the focus on nature and community, with looking after animals, growing own produce and walks. They keep us up to date with our daughter’s development. We have no hesitation recommending this childcare centre.

Kidstown! An amazing early child centre. The staff care. They put the children first and the learning is first hand,
My daughter was there for four years. We have absolutely no regrets. Kidstown provides a safe, nurturing, caring environment. Kidstown is like a family. They are strong in Te Reo and learning about the environment around them. They have strong values to grow the whole child. I would highly recommend Kidstown to anyone who is looking for somewhere grow their child's development.

A wonderful centre who have provided our little family with lots of support during our transition into the world of working while parenting with our first child. She loves going to Kidstown everyday, she gets excited to go there every morning. All the teachers are so friendly and caring, providing the best care and learning opportunities for our little one. We are so grateful for everything the team at Kidstown do for us.

My daughter attended Kidstown from 8 months old until 20 months. We loved Kidstown so much and wouldn’t have left if we weren’t moving cities. The homely environment and the primary caregiving made it a home away from home for my daughter. The teachers are lovely and the manager and hands-on owner are very easy to communicate with and approachable. Would highly recommend this centre!

Kidstown is an incredible childcare centre. I have two girls, my youngest still attends and my older daughter has just left to start school. They both moved to Kidstown from another centre in the area, and we have been so spoilt with the quality of teachers throughout their time at Kidstown. Kidstown has allowed the girls to engage with the local community through regular off site trips up Mt Wellington, to the train station, to the zoo, Bunnings and other exciting places. We always feel welcome and part of a larger Kidstown family when there! Thanks Kidstown for giving our girls the greatest start in their early years of education.

I have worked with Kidstown for more than two years as a teacher and I really appreciate the positive environment it creates for the kids and for the whanau. My daughter Manroop was also part of this beautiful and resourceful centre. She enjoyed the best years of her life at Kidstown. I like the way the centre connects the children with the local community through walks to Bunnings, train station, mountain and surrounding areas. Teachers are so kind, encouraging and loving towards the needs and learning of each child.

We have been thrilled with the care and attention that our little boy has received at Kidstown for the past 3 years. The staff are wonderful and are incredibly caring. It has been a pleasure watching our child grow in personality and learn and develop the skills required to take him onto school in such a friendly, fun and creative environment. Highly recommend this daycare as a great start for your child.

One of the best daycare centres in Auckland. They have an amazing team of teachers, who are all warm, friendly and above all passionate about teaching. They carefully plan activities which is not only stimulating and fun, but centred around the child's interest- the key teacher took the time to identify my daughter's interests and strengths!! They have a great large, outdoor space, which is also home to guinea pigs and chickens!! They regularly organise outings to Mt. Wellington, Bunnings and the local library which is always talked about days later. We are regularly kept updated with news, stories and what the children have been up too via their secure app. My daughter has developed so much whilst in Kidstown and is confident, assertive and equipped to start school thanks to Kidstown. A truly amazing place.

Our child has been cared for by the Kidstown team for 4 years and they are wonderful. The team are passionate and caring to all the children and ensure they are safe and cared for all day every day. From sharing the weekly food menu to exciting outings and adventures through to the preparing for school program this center always puts the kids needs and care first. It has been amazing to be part of this whanau and are so grateful to all the care and love our child has received at this centre.

The staff at Kidstown are fantastic!! Comfortable and homely environment with a great outdoor space. Engaging teachers that really involved us with our daughters learning and play over the 2yrs she attended until we relocated, and 3 months later she is still asking to go back!
We found the staff to be extremely supportive when we were struggling with some behaviours both at home and at the center. We met with the teacher/management and had a plan the whole team was on board with which was a turning point for us all.
Since the move we have struggled to find a center that has the 'kidstown touch', we loved the family involvement days, and the effort the teachers put into creating special days and memories for the kids... Thank you kidstown !

Kidstown is one of the best Childcare Centres in the area. Our son attended for 4 years from nursery right through to school-age. Their before-school programme made a huge difference in preparing our boy for school. The Centre is in a beautiful old villa with plenty of sheltered outdoor space. The Teachers and Owners are amazing, and I would highly recommend this Childcare Centre to anyone looking in the area.

When I first walked into Kidstown after visiting 4 other daycares that day and feeling very deflated with what I had been into I was sooo happy that I had found the right daycare that welcomes you with the friendliest staff and instantly felt like a homely environment.
It’s a very outdoorsy centre with lots of trips up the mountain,Bunnings, trains station.
They have there own little veggie garden and lots of different centre pets that the kids play with and learn about.
They have great space for the kids inside and out.
They have great values and always feel a good vibe when I go in.
Their menu for the kids is also great!
Overall my kids love Kidstown and so do we.
Would recommend it’s to anyone.

I worked at Kidstown for 2.5 yrs until I needed to relocate to the North Shore. To this day it is still the best early childhood centre I have worked at. Nikki, the owner, employs such kind, dedicated, fun teachers who have so much love and care to give the children. These children are happy, nurtured and EMPOWERED.
The centre is BEAUTIFUL. Each room has a wonderful uniqueness to it. The natural outdoor spaces, (with real grass, vege gardens and mature trees!) provides the children with opportunities to discover, care for animals and plant life, and challenge their physical abilities.
A healthy menu is given to the children each day, giving them energy and nourishment - which is used to power their bodies for walks up Mount Wellington, to Bunnings Warehouse for supplies, and on other exciting excursions in the community.
Kidstown is truly a magical place and one that I would recommend to any family or teacher.

Two of my kids had been to Kids town. Initially I am bit nervous to join older one. He is so naughty and more hyperactive, after some time I did see a big change in his behavior. After 2nd one joined. I am very happy as my kids are grown and learn basics from kids town.
I did observe the teachers do have a very bonding with kids compare to other kinder garden (as I personally sent my kids there).
Teachers do share love spending with kids, more activities, teaching and very hygienic food.
I am very glad that my kids are grown in kids town and would recommended few friends as best, best ...

This is a very homey environment for my 2 little treasures. Dedicated, fun and loving teachers.
My 2 daughters enjoy the cuddles most, where they feel that they are safe and there is somebody outside home whom they can lean on. I saw in them the joy of being in Kidstown and it re- assures us parents. Thank you to the management and all staff for everything that you do.. We really appreciate your love and attention to our little ones. God bless you all.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Kidstown on a number of occasions. I am from a local primary school and we visit the soon to be 5 year olds that will be coming to our school. I am sooooo impressed with the fantastic learning and programmes put in place by their wonderful teachers to ensure children successfully transition to school. A beautiful mat time with listening to stories, waiata, sign language and Te Reo incorporated into learning were some of my favourites! The staff listen to schools and ensure they are doing all they can to prepare the children. For example incorporating lunchbox days. Thank you Kidstown! Your AMAZING!

Lots of primary school teachers have their kids at Kidstown. That shows what a great job you do! I am continually impressed by what my 3yr old can do that the 5yr olds I teach can't. To me this shows quality early childhood education. There is also a lot of love and care for the children.

They say teaching is the hardest job in the world. It's not because of the paperwork but because of the time and energy that nurturing little minds, hearts and bodies takes. As a teacher I take my hat off to the staff at kidstown every day because they do that job and do it well. Not once have I ever walked in to pick up my babies and seen a frown. Your teachers are inspiring, kind, empathetic and enthusiastic and every day my children shine a little bit more because they're in your care. So thank you.

An awesome childcare centre. My two daughters have been at Kidstown for the past 4+ years and they love being there. Great location, lovely safe area for the children and exceptional staff.
