My daughter attended koru Montissori for just over a year before starting her primary school.from her first visit up until the last day, she found lovely,friendly and safe best learning environment. So I would like to strongly recommend Koru Montessori school to all parents who whish their kids to receive the best education.

We are very grateful for Koru's existence and the kind, caring, thoughtful and lovely teachers that make it such a special place. Our son loved his time at Koru, always looked forward to coming there every morning and starting a new day full of exploration and meaningful interactions. The center is well-run by a passionate manager, Krystal, (herself a trained Montessori teacher), supported by a small team of outstanding teachers. Apart from the Montessori philosopy that makes Koru a unique option in the area, we also loved the fact that Koru has an amazing homely feel, in large part due to its small size and it being located in a custom-adapted house (with a lovely outdoor playground and some chickens!). Thank you so much for all the warmth, care and support.

My big boy graduated from Koru today and I am so proud to say that he is soooo ready to embark on his primary journey!!! Over the last 2 years; Koru has transformed my once shy and sensitive little boy into this confident, compassionate and loving 5 year old that he is today. As parents, we simply couldn't ask for more. The level of his literacy, numbers and handwriting far exceeded what's expected of him at his primary school entry level. I'm a very busy working mum so it would be an understatement to say that Krystal and the amazing teachers have taught my son most of the skills above for me😊 We will be back soon with our no.2❤️

We have had the pleasure of knowing the amazing teaching team at Koru for over 8 years. Ruth, the owner and the manager is truly an amazing and caring person who has the best interest of children at heart. I left my child at Koru every day knowing that she will be treated with kindness and respect and will be cared for. Koru is a high quality preschool that offers a range of activities, from baking and gardening to art and craft, Montessori activities, group projects and much more. Koru is so peaceful and children are so immensely engaged in their freely chosen activities. Teachers observe children closely to guide them in their learning journey by planning and providing appropriate learning experiences for them. They do regular excursions and their end of year concert is breath-taking which they put so much time and effort into. They go above and beyond to ensure the children receive the best early childhood learning experiences. I highly recommend Koru to anyone who is looking for a quality early childhood centre. A huge thank you to everyone at Koru from our family :-)

Both my children have attended Koru Montessori. I highly recommend. Superb learning environment. The teachers and owner Ruth are incredibly caring, positive people who really take the time to understand each child, nurture and guide them through their development at this precious stage in life. I am always so impressed with how the environment is calm and children focused on their chosen activities. There is a huge range of specific Montessori activities that the children are given the choice of. The environment is organised and thoughtful and much time and care is put into preparing all the activities. I appreciate all the feedback you receive about your child and what they have been up to at Koru. I am so grateful for Koru and the staff.

Highly recommend Koru Montessori. It nurtures the love of learning in children. It’s a very peaceful environment which provides lots of opportunities for the children to learn and explore. Such a wonderful, calm learning environment - we could not have asked for a better place to send our daughter. The most caring teachers who have guided her through her kindy years. Beautiful resources and a variety of stimulating and challenging learning environments - indoors and out! Love the outside classroom and the focus on learning about other cultures around the world, as well as a big emphasis on Te Reo and our place in New Zealand. We could not recommend Koru highly enough!

Koru is an outstanding centre for pre schoolers. Children are nurtured and cared for by the wonderful staff. Many learning opportunities are on offer which prepare the children for a variety of life skills. I would highly recommend Koru Montessori.

Best Montessori Preschool by far. We travel from Orewa so our son can attend and he has flourished since being at Koru. We looked into other Montessori preschools but found Koru's staff and philosophy incomparable

Initially, my daughter was in another day care. We could notice marked improvement in her behaviour, wellbeing, attitude and cleanliness after joining Koru. Staff were so friendly to her and us. I wish I had sent her at Koru earlier.
