This is a big family with multicultural environment, my son has been here for more than 1 year, and have had a lot fun and meet new friends here. The teaches are nice, friendly. Your kids can learn multi languages here. Thanks a lot for the Red Kite team.

Our family loves Red Kite Preschool, we make the daily effort to travel 30minutes in traffic each day because the staff are so welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. We love that they have male teachers as role models, and that some of the teachers speak Mandarin & Cantonese to our children who are of Chinese decent. We did not hesitate to send our 2nd child into the baby room, as we know that the she is cared for with lots of love and adoration <3

Would highly recommend Red Kite Preschool. Genuinely kind and caring teachers / centre managers who were easy to communicate with and who made such a big effort to make our son feel secure. We enjoyed the regular updates on their Kinderloop App on what our son did at preschool and was always amazed at the different resources and activities set up for him and his classmates. We are sad to be leaving but wish the team all the best!

Both of my children went to Red Kite and loved it. It’s a small ‘boutique’ preschool that feels homely and welcoming.
Being taught in English, Te Reo Māori and Mandarin has given them an appreciation and curiosity about languages and cultures that they weren’t familiar with in their home environment, which I love!
They have both now gone on to ‘big school’ full of confidence and with an excitement for learning which the teachers at Red Kite played a big part in.
Thank you Red Kite, we’ll miss you!

We loved everything about Red Kite as a preschool for our daughter, ever since she started aged 11 months and then progressed to the "bigger kids room". Our daughter loved her teachers, who are all very caring and engaging, who offer a wide variety of activities for the children, that stimulate and encourage a wide range of ways of learning.
Language learning with English, Mandarin and Te Reo were all great, and the flexibility with the lockdown and virtual "mat time" were greatly appreciated. The online updates through "Kinderloop" were a superb insight into the day at Red Kite and were a joy to look at each day. "Park Walks" to explore the local park were a particular favourites for our daughter.
Our daughter (and well) will miss the Red Kite family a lot, thank you for everything.

My son really likes Red Kite. Every morning when he gets up, he says that I would like to go to Red Kite, which is far different from his previous response in other preschools.
Also, he has had a lot of improvements since he joined in it half a year ago and I can figure out that his language skills and his behavioural habits are changing better and better.
Moreover, the teachers are nice, patient, collaborative and encouraging. Every one or two months, the teachers have catch-ups with me to talk about my son's improvements and discuss what we could do to help him settle into the new environment quickly.

Best team of professionals, dedicated and committed. Naira really loved her time with Red kite, she loves Anita and rest of the team. This was the best change we have made so far in our child's early childhood education that we changed her pre-school to Red kite.
Wish that Red kite had Primary education too 😊
Best wishes for Red Kite.

I sent both of my children to Red Kite Preschool. Red Kite is a boutique preschool with a homely feel where staff and children appear happy and enthusiastic. My children established lovely relationships with Anita, Judy, Jillian and Ling. All teachers are fully qualified and the preschool keeps very good ratios.
Communication is very good, including daily drop-off catch ups, emails, Facebook page and monthly newsletters.
My boy loved Anita, he is interested in science and maths and Anita seems to have similar interests. My daughter has a special place in her heart for Jillian. Jillian understands children, she is gifted in patience, understanding, nurturing and kindness. Over the years I don’t think I have ever seen her get stressed or upset with a child. Ling is wonderful with the younger children. She is always talking and singing with them. Ling always sits with children so that she is at the same height as the younger children which I think is important. Judy is great on email which is awesome for me to communicate about any questions about attendance or fees.
The staff are training in Forest School and the children have outings to reflect this programme. All children seem very calm and engaged at the preschool, I have never seen any behaviour difficulties from children. I think that this is the result of the expertise of the teaching team, good ratios and the quality of the resources which are interesting, developmental appropriate and meet the needs of children’s varied interests.
High quality preschool is hard to find in New Zealand. Finding a preschool with quality staff with low turn-over, good ratios, quality resources, where teachers have an in-depth curriculum knowledge and of how to implement it, is difficult. The first three years in a child’s life is the most important for their brain development so it is vital that our children are in the best possible care and education.
