My family has been with House Of Wonder since it first opened 4years ago! We fell in love with the centre from the open day. The atmosphere is so open and natural, great outdoor play area allowing our little ones to be creative and explore! Great layout, and home cooked nutritious meals made! Fresh veggies in the gardens the children have planted themselves and much much more..
We love the holistic approach learning environment and the super supportive and easy going, friendly staff!
House Of Wonder supports all diverse children my 4year old speaks Afrikaans, English and Maori. Not only is he encouraged to speak whatever language he chooses he is also given added context and supported to explore more in cultural backgrounds of his choosing.
My now 7year old has autism and he also received the best care when he was here, they helped him to develop relationships and supported his journey in his own time and space, it was such a relief to have their support and an added comfort.
I am glad I found the right centre that supports my vast needs as it can be tricky finding a play centre that supports both boys with diverse backgrounds. I definitely recommend this Centre to anyone and everyone I meet, they support the whole family!

Our whanau loves House of Wonder! You are made to feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door. The kaiako are so loving, caring and kind. They are passionate about what they do and Charlé the centre manager is amazing, she’s so supportive and compassionate and always puts what’s best for the tamariki first which we love! It truely is a home away from home. We love their child centered philosophy and opportunities for open ended play. Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa!

I'm SO happy I enrolled my daughter at the House of Wonder 5 weeks ago! From the moment you walk into H of W you are captured by the beautiful & big open modern space, the friendly & very approachable staff, a great indoor/outdoor flow & many activities for the children to engage in across all ages & stages. It's great seeing the children having so much fun & learning lots daily. The developments already in my daughter have been amazing to see! I cannot thank you all enough, keep doing an amazing job 👏 👏👏 We are very excited for the year ahead ❤ ❤ ❤

House of Wonder Gisborne have amazing kaiako with so much heart.
My toddler has recently been diagnosed with Autism, so it was paramount to find a daycare centre where he felt safe and happy.
We tried two other daycares before making the final (and quick) decision to enrol at House of Wonder.
The staff work with me to help find solutions so that my son can play, eat and sleep comfortably throughout the day! How cool!
Because of that, he loves it here and I feel at ease leaving the centre in the morning, knowing my son is in good hands.
When I come back to pick him up, the friendly staff always keep me updated with how his day went.
The teachers really make an effort to engage with the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment. I also love how our Māori culture is incorporated and represented in a respectful way and taught to the tamariki.
A big mihi to the whole team! Keep up the great work ☺️

Absolutely love the House of Wonder! Have my two boys there since 2018. From the moment you enter, there are friendly morning greetings at reception to all the teachers welcoming the boys by their names! Love all the daily activities, admire the patience of the staff and the clever ways how they approach my sons personal needs, the nutritious meals and the stories coming back home after each day! Ka pai HOW team

Amazing childcare with amazing Kaiako. They are friendly, loving and down to earth. The amazing cook makes delicious meals each day that the kids love and they are kept busy all day with the large array of different activities for them to play, learn and develop their skills

We have been part of the amazing HoW Whānau since 2019 when we enrolled our little one year old and from the day she started she has thrived. She loves HoW so much that she can’t wait to get there in the morning and it is hard to get her to leave at pick up time. As parents it is awesome to see how much she loves being there and to hear how much she loves all her teachers. Having been with HoW for a few years now we really feel like part of the whānau. The entire team of kaiako at HoW are AMAZING, they are friendly, kind, caring, approachable and super passionate about helping our little ones flourish. We love that there is a strong use of Te Reo Māori in the centre which is pronounced beautifully by all staff. Charlé the centre manager is AWESOME, very approachable, professional and committed to providing a safe, fun, supportive learning environment for tamariki. Also, love how us as parents are cared for with thoughtful little gestures like treating us to bagels for brekkie or arranging a mum’s night out. The centre itself has beautiful big open spaces with awesome indoor/outdoor flow, natural light and a fabulous outdoor area. They also provide delicious nutritious kai for our tamariki daily, which is prepared with aroha in the onsite kitchen. Much love and respect to you Team HoW, keep up the awesome mahi! Ngā mihi nui ki te whānau o House of Wonder.

Our daughter has been attending HoW for a year now and absolutely loves it! Her confidence, development and social skills have all benefited from her time at HoW. Not only that, we as the parents are always treated by the kaiako as whānau. We are kept well informed and every single kaiako is easy to approach and they all take a genuine interest in our lives outside HoW. I have two younger tamariki who are not yet in daycare however, I won't hesitate to send them to HoW when the time comes. Aroha nui ki te whānau o House of Wonder!

We as a whanau love House of Wonder and the team. Both my babies are here, and they are my world so I wasn't going to leave them with just anyone, I had to trust them, and I had to see that my kids trusted them too. We visited a few centres prior and they told me straight away "no" they didn't explore, they didn't leave my side, they didn't speak. Our visit with HOW was different, I couldn't find both of my children because they were busy exploring, trying to communicate with the kaiako and other children it was amazing to see. I needed help to get my children back to the car because they refused to leave. They have thrived within their time of being at house of wonder. The welcoming homely feeling you get when you walk in the door and even the "have a great day" when you're dropping your kids off is amazing, sometimes you just need that aye. I am grateful for all the kaiako for the equal treatment that all the children receive, and especially love the use of different languages that they use. Nga mihi to all for looking after my babies.

We’re incredibly proud of the leaps and bounds our daughter has grown in the care of the HoW whānau. She thrives in the child-led learning environment that the HoW provides where she is able to explore, create, prosper and grow. The staff and management are committed to the wellbeing of our tamariki. Since the early days when we enrolled her as a baby (8 months old) the HoW has taken care of her and provided a safe and encouraging environment. We appreciated the further care and attention the staff provided as she transitioned from the infant to the toddler class. Weaving in Te Reo Māori and sharing local pūrākau from Tairāwhiti helps to further strengthen her connection to her Māori identity, whakapapa and connection to this whenua. Ngā mihi ki te whānau o HoW!
