My daughter attended Manaaki from 2.5 to 5yrs. She absolutely loved it there. We did an early visit and she felt comfortable straight away so I knew it was the right fit. The teachers were so caring and allowed my daughter to flourish in play, creativity and nature. My daughter still talks about Manaaki even a year on!

We cannot recommend Manaaki more highly. My daughter currently attends the Kowhai room and she absolutely loves it. The staff have been exceptional at welcoming her and have made her transition into daycare very smooth and positive. It is evident that the staff here are incredibly caring and provide a calm and nurturing environment for the children. The staff have been very accommodating to our needs as a family and are holistic in their approach to supporting us.
I am so grateful to have found such a unique place for my daughter to grow and develop. She is very eager to wave me off now when I drop her off as she has so much fun - thank you!

Both of my children have attended Manaaki, and I cannot rate it higher as a centre and importantly as a second home for my kids. Manaaki is a loving whanau oriented centre, with plenty of space to play, learn and grow.

My 13-month-old daughter is currently in the Kowhai room at Manaaki and has been there for about 2 months now. We both love it so far and feel very comfortable there. They made the transition in to daycare very easy and I have no concerns with her going full time in a couple of weeks. Her carers are very friendly, warm and welcoming. Every time I go there the environment feels very calm and in control.

My daughter attended Manaaki from 1 through to 5 years old. We chose them because of the amazing staff and great values. Brianna has come through her years with them and blossomed into an amazingly well rounded child, Manaaki is a wonderful extention of our family and they are highly recommended! It is a very special place for young minds 💚

Our twins went to Manaaki for 2 years & we have such happy memories from their days there. Alcyon & her team always created a home from home environment where it felt like I was leaving them with whānau rather than at a childcare centre. I wholeheartedly recommend Manaaki for its gentle, nurturing & loving child- led philosophy. It is conveniently situated between Waipapa & Keri Keri as well as being able to offer a rural feel with local farm trips. Book in a visit & go see for yourself! 🥰❣️❤️❤️

My youngest came to Manaaki and and i only wish that my oldest could have attended too. Teachers are well trained, nurturing and caring of the kids. The location in Kerikeri is amazing, lots of room for the kids to play, fruit and vege scattered around not to mention the paddocks that the kids get to visit animals in. Cant recommend highly enough

Our home away from home :) You don't find people and centre's like this everyday. The most peaceful and beautiful surrounds, with lovely attentive and caring staff. The kids settle so well here because they are so comfortable and build amazing bonds with the staff. For a working mum it makes such a big difference being able to leave your children and know without doubt they are safe and being cared for, half the time they don't want to leave ❤️

Over the past three + years we have had all three of our children through Manaaki.
Our oldest began in the Kahikatea room when the center first opened.
We followed the owner, Alcyon (as did a lot of families) from another center to Manaaki when she began this journey.
We felt her core values as a caregiver and educator are second to none, very respectful of the children, warm and friendly, very high standards of employees and she has created a comfortable environment that is big on outside exploration and play.
Our younger two have been in the Kowhai and Pohutukawa rooms and get so excited when it is a Manaaki day.
Drop offs feel like you are just leaving them with family... often afternoon pick ups are the hard part! Too much fun.

After looking at many daycares in Kerikeri and Waipapa I chose Manaaki due to it's small size as a centre and the warm feeling I got from the teachers. My son is in Kowhai (infant) room and we both adore his teachers. I am very grateful to have found such a kind and loving environment for him to be in.

We've been with this daycare since the beginning, I wanted to find a centre that I could truly trust, and be able to leave my son and see him one hundred percent comfortable. This childcare centre provides care like my family would, they genuinely care for all the kids if they were they're own.
They have their own seperate yards alot of outdoor play activities, updated info in their weekly portfolios, they are approachable and you can see the kids enjoying themselves.
Ece teachers here have been so good to us and have looked after my kids from infancy. connected with them straight away they have this family approach which I noticed straight away. I've been to check all centres in kerikeri but none of them I connected to the ece teachers or liked the centres. Manaaki is rural it's private and alot of ground to run freely it was exactly what I was after.

Amazing staff and set up.
The teachers really helped my children come out if their shells and grow into vibrant, thriving little people.
