All of my children have loved their time at Lake Okareka Preschool. The children are nurtured by very experienced teachers and the whole family are part of the preschool community. It is well resourced inside and outside, including a large Council playground. The small class size is a huge plus as all teachers know the children well. Highly recommended.

Lake Okareka Preschool is a wonderful place for preschoolers. The teachers are so caring and attentive, my children settled in so quickly when they first started due to the wonderful teachers. The children are spoilt with a wonderful outdoor environment, it is really spacious and has an amazing bike track, that all the kids love. The class size is small and all the children interact so well together because of this. You know you're made the right choice for early childhood care, when your kids never want to come home when you come to pick them up at the end of the day!

We feel so lucky to be part of this wonderful, nurturing community. I love that my son is outside a lot of the day, expending his energy with his friends and that he is learning so much about nature, culture, being healthy and environmentally responsible, and of course so many social skills, as well as the building blocks of literacy and numeracy, all while having so much fun. It's an incredible place that allows little kids to be little kids, while setting them up for success in a bigger school environment when they are ready.

We would highly recommend Okareka preschool. We love that it's only 7 minutes from a Lynmore and offers regular hours rather than a day-care model. The teachers are experienced, dedicated and compassionate. The small class size means that they quickly got to know our kids and I love that they enjoyed sharing and celebrating their progress and achievements. We have one child enrolled, one graduated and one who can't wait to get stuck in!

Love Lake Okareka PreSchool. Such a special place for learning, with great philosophies and community involvement. The kids are happy and the teachers are excellent. Our child is thriving there. Thoroughly recommmend it as a place to check out for your own children

Lake Okareka Preschool is amazing. I only wish I'd found it sooner. A total haven for children with amazing learning, fantastic teachers (who have been there many years) and a passion for sustainability and the environment and passing this knowledge on to the children.
