D.Have been to the plant side of things a heap. Never really noticed the cafe. Popped into there for a quick late breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, good prices, quick turn around on food after order was made. Food was simple but great. Portion sizes meant you didnt leave hungry.
D.Just had one of the best experiences at a retail place. The staff were amazing and friendly, helped me with a click and collect exchange. There was no issue they really are lovely staff. Will happily shop here again. Thank you Kings Plant Barn Henderson!
K.Though the shop in general is good. The trees I bought were not weathered for outdoors and promptly wilted with a little wind and heat. The pots for recycling were destroyed with recklessness and nothing reusable which apparently is deliberate to promote sales over sustainability. They need to clean up their act and practice what they preach.
D.Henderson Plant Barn is perfect in everyway. Cafe is amazingly efficient and an extremely high quality of service. Venue is clean, tidy and always smell great. I frequent this venue regularly and will continue on doing so. Great work guys, most favourite cafe around on a Sunday morning. Very popular for alot of locals and those in the know.
Z.I got to say one of the best cinamon scrolls i have tasted, yummy and soft, the frosting was so yummy, 10/10 for a cinna sweet lover! The filled donut on the other hand was very sour and the little marshmallow was fluffy and sweet to balance it out but would prefer a a little more sweetness.

D.My husband and I loved our visit here, we went to the the nice little restaurant they have and it was very nice. They have vegan options and the food was devine, the coffee was excellent also.
While we were at it we went and brought a Yellow Passion Plant and one of those houseplants that grow along the walls.
My cats ended up mauling the houseplant (which I nicknamed Max Plant), so I took poor Max to work where he is less prone to cat attack. :)

J.Very family oriented cafe. We had our little one in a stroller and there was sufficient amount of room to get to the counter and order. We had a coffee and donut. Sadly our donut had a bit of the butter wrapping in the custard. But the team was very kind and offered us a new donut and a free coffee as well. I would highly recommend this place for families that just wants a chilled relaxed environment with some hearty food. The food coming out at the other tables around us looked really good. I would come back to order something from the menu next time.

M.Good choice of fresh food at the café and a very nice area for the kids to play too. There’s also a large choice of plants and trees which are well taken care of. Never had an issue with plants bought and put in the garden from this place. Look for specials on compost and potting mix which are good quality. Staff is really nice so you’re bound to find something you like.

K.This place is so popular. Cafe staff are very efficient and fast. Quality quite good too. Suggest though that overflow parking be for cafe visitors as Plant visitors can't get near the place. However if you drive your car around staff will help load up your car boot.

I was disappointed that the chalk board in the kids area was gone though. The shipping container play area that replaced it was quite dark and dirty and some of the toys/books were broken or were battery-powered with flat batteries. It would be great to improve the kids area!
C.Fantastic place...browsed the plants and knick knacks after our meal. The meal was delicious, and so much food! Four of us were there and none of us could eat it all! Also, despite being very busy our food and drinks arrived very quickly! Great spot overall!

S.I always love to spend time with my friend in here to find some cute plants to decorate our place. Sometimes you can see some very interesting products. For example, like manmade bumblebee and bird nests. We also love the cafe too. Its a nice place to hang out with your friends.
A.A well stocked garden and plant centre, with service beating larger chain stores. Prices are at least on par with larger competitors, but the knowledge and value of good advice - I leave it to the reader to put value on it.
The café is truly a hidden gem of West Auckland. Food is fantastic, coffee is very good, and for those who are vegan there is a full vegan menu plus suitable cabinet food. My wife had a Chicken and Parmesan Pie that she rated the best pie she had in Auckland in at least 10 years. A high praise indeed from someone who would usually scoff on 90% of pies on offer.

We always order the Vegan Burger & Fries. The closest thing I have tasted that felt like a burger. It's our monthly go to place. Worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Great place to hold meetings, or just to chill out and people-watch or read. Good selection of artsy magazines. I like the cast-iron teapots. First refill is free. Excellent tea selection -- well priced ($4.50)

The garden center has a great range, and I found the staff to be extremely helpful when asking about indoor plants. Plenty of parking, and a good experience all round.

N.Staff are very helpful and can answer most of my questions. There's usually a really good selection of plants available throughout the year from seedlings to established plants. This place is our first choice when looking for plants.

L.We always enjoy our visit to Kings Plant Barn, it's my 87 year old mums fav place to eat and visit. Today and often, there was no wheel chair parking, I pulled into the loading zone to give me room to unload my mum and her wheel chair and the lovely lady that works at Kings in Henderson kindly helped and took mum inside while I parked the car. Very caring - thanks Plant Barn Henderson.
s.The cashier serves us was not honour and not friendly,when we ask her about the New,hunt event today. We have three bee hunt entries form but she only have us one free packet of Sun flower seed packet to my little girl. I feel she is racists.

L.Came for brunch yesterday ( our 2nd visit ) was very busy but plenty of choice in the cabinets, cashier operater was quick but very knowledgable , & professional, & friendly. Lovely outdoor setting, space between the tables so we weren't all on top of one another, scone & muffin were barley warm BUT plenty of fresh butter to accomplish, meals were hot & great, nice seeds on salads, great hot coffee & happy wait staff.
We will return & highly recommend !!

Parking is plentiful with a spacious carpark and access is easy with the location being off the main road.
A.This is my favourite Kings Plant Barn. It seems to me to always have the most consistent range of stock. You can find a large range of monstera, as well as all the other classic house plants like anthuriums, peace lily's, fiddle leaf fig etc. They also have an excellent range of cacti. I have not eaten at the cafe yet so can not review that.

L.Spent $47 on 2 breakfast meals and hot drinks wasnt worth this becos of quality. My plate had a chip on the side and drinks were warm. My omelet was over cooked and wouldve been ok without the pesto, not sure why you only get 1 bread so overall was ok.
