N.Beautiful park, dogs are allowed but IS NOT A DOG'S PARK, kids and other animals are around so your dog should be under control all the time.
Amazing little "lake" dry during summer time, pram friendly, some benches around, perfect for just a walk/running or picnic day.
R.Took my little dog and daughter for a walk around. We counted frogs and enjoyed the rambling paths. There were quite a few off leash dogs, but all the ones we met were respectful of us and our dog.
Only downside was a dead duck that looked like it had been attacked by a dog :( it was in the pond and we couldn't reach it to pull it out.
J.Impressive, large private trust-run dog-friendly park with water features, shelter, paths and fruit trees just outside town on Belvedere. The best dog park around and worth traveling for if your dog likes being off the leash. There isn't technically a high fence/gate at the entrance, so if your dog is a bolter be warned that they might just charge off and over the knee-high front fence. Very fun, open and spacious park for dog owners and all members of the family. A real benchmark for dog parks in rural towns.
N.Great little park - can take dogs off leash. Also great for the little ones, there is a flat limestone path to follow and a few bridges. There are often rocks hidden here which the kids love finding!

A.My lovely cat brought home a frog unharmed.... I was told the best place to release it was Sparks Park. First time visiting there and my children and I were absolutely delighted. Pathways and a bridge with plenty of wild life including a mother duck with 9 ducklings. Of course accompanied by the sound of frogs everywhere. Happy to have returned our little visitor back to a amazing environment .
F.Wonnderful place to walk fonzie my dog. Do ations of trees with markers. Two entrances one further down for infirmed. Dont miss it i did and negotiated the high one. Not the next time. Windmill there. Beautiful sunsets. Paths wheelchair friendly. Enjoy.
A.Lovely place to take your dog for a walk. Lots of well controlled and well behaved dogs with lovely owners who are friendly and always ready for a chat. Highly recommended as an excellent dog exercising spot.

D.Well maintained. Some interesting "exotic" trees, mixed with natives. A nice place to escape for a walk with the dog, kids or what have you. Would be nice if the pond was maintained with water, guess water restrictions have kicked in.
