2.Great service, great price.
Went in today and bought a blower
M.This is a brand new place for stihl. Very clean. A lot of new electrical gardening gear. I needed a machine repaired. The workshop is clean and obviously kept that way, every day. The mechanic's rate is pretty steep, $85 an hour. Experienced mechanics get stuff done in a timely manner, so he might well be worth that. We'll see when I get the bill.
S.Fantastic service, arrived close to closing time and still received a great level of service for that time of day, never felt rushed to leave. Very happy with the products we purchased.

M.Went to buy a second chainsaw - the guy serving spent time going over pros & cons of the models available. Got an excellent small chainsaw. The follow-up free service ended being a lot longer than hoped, but I suspect they were a bit overrun with jobs. Overall a very good place to get a chainsaw and accessories.
W.Buying a $2 part(a spring inside the spool) for my old grass trimmer has earned me the most valuable tips from one of the store's senior members. He patiently guides me through & demonstrates how to fit the nylons string into the spool. For almost 20 years I have been struggling to fit line into those older style spool, it's so frustrating my wife could often hear me cursing in the garden when doing the job. With the man's tips now I can fit the line into the spool easily.And I think his tips are 10 times better than the manual's description. So much more sensible!!!
Another good news is the store now selling those much user friendly spool, and only cost $54. It can fit into your older Stihl trimmer.
A lovely Dunedin Stihl store the staff are always so helpful with old values helping its customers. I would go no where else after this wonderful experience

R.Great service. Putting the saw + bar together even though there wasn't one made up. Filling the tanks and running it. Great explanation of starting etc. - despite obviously being super knowledgeable did that in a way that was not condescending at all.
T.Extra helpful staff who know their stuff! Once they knew the type of section I have, I was shown a good range of suitable mowers, and even though I was sure of the one I wanted, he showed me the perfect mower for the job, and quite a bit cheaper than what I originally wanted! When does that EVER happen lol?? Usually a business will (naturally) get you to spend as much as they can of the price range you give them.
I got great service, advice, and a great mower for the job at less than I intended to spend.
I will be back for a weed whacker soon!
