We stayed in Magnolia Cottage over Labour Weekend 2021...FANTASTIC! Beautiful gardens, excellent size, every amenity was provided for. It was clean, comfortable, and the MOST RELAXING weekend I have had in a long time. For price, value, and sheer enjoyment I give Lawn Cottages a 10/10! Thank you so much!

I can not stress how absolutely amazing Lawn Cottages were to stay with. They literally had everything you could possibly think of available, from kitchen utensils to an excellent laundry room. Beautiful well kept gardens, and the cottage itself, it was absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Flax Cottage and I could not get over how beautifully clean everything was, like to the extent where I wish I knew how to get my shower that sparkly and clean! (Seriously, what products do you use?!) The Cottages themselves exceeded my expectations of any place to stay, they were super roomy and comfortable so you didn't didn't up feeling cramped at all when having guests visit! There was air-conditioning in the Cottage for the sunny Hawkes Bay weather, fly screens on opening windows to prevent pesky mosquitos, literally everything has been thought of! The beds were comfortable, the wheelchair access ramps were handy for those who may require, we loved it so much that our Uncle ended up staying in the unit next door to us after we recommended Lawn Cottages to stay in for my Grandmother's funeral. My parents loved being able to relax and get away from the stress of arranging the funeral while visiting us at the cottages also. They found it serene and peaceful and loved how tranquil the gardens were. Thankyou endlessly for being such an excellent host! We will definitely be staying again!

Recently stayed at lawn cottages. Couldn't fault the place. The cottage was spotless and very roomy and quiet. The gardens were beautiful and the staff extremely helpful. It was lovely to see that pets were allowed. I particularly liked the fact the each cottage had it own private outdoor area garden. Recommend and hope to visit again. AA++

5 stars we stayed in the Rose cottage for 3 nights. I can't wait to stay here on my next trip to Havelock North. Bed shower and kitchen A+ very quite too.

Loved this place, cottage has everything you need and more. I did not meet the hosts but I’m sure they work hard behind the scenes to ensure a very comfortable stay, exceeding my expectations. Bonus for us is that it was pet friendly.

This was our second visit to Lawn Cottages. When we arrived the air conditioning was turned on which was fantastic after a hot day in the car. I mentioned to David that my daughter, who has recently moved to Napier was joining us for a bbq dinner with a couple of friends. He bought over extra plates and cutlery, and salt/pepper and sauces in a cute holder with a little umbrella. David and Erik are wonderful hosts who really go out of there way for guests. Its been a year since we stayed and the cottages have new bathrooms with underfloor heating. The shower has great water pressure and the shower head has a relaxing massage setting. The cottages also have new beds which are super comfortable. The way the cottages are situated in the beautiful grounds makes you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. Thanks again David and Erik for another enjoyable stay.

Absolutely fantastic array of little cottages to stay in when you explore and sightsee in Hawkes Bay! The cottages are super clean, modern, fully fitted with everything you need for a lovely comfy stay and include heat|AC, double glazed windows and 40 inch TVs. They also provide breakfast which is lovely - eggs, fresh toast and fresh coffee. It’s a great place to stay in Winter or Summer and leaves you in a fabulous central location. Enjoy your stay!

Great accommodation. Very well equipped kitchen, the knives were sharp. Comfortable beds and nice landscaped gardens.

Fantastic spot. Great relaxing garden areas. The Hydrangea Cottage is cosy and spacious for a family of four. Jacqui & Ski are super friendly and awesome hosts. Thoroughly enjoying our stay. With all the cottage and garden space for a comparative cost to a family unit/room in the city it's a no brainer. We'll be back😁

Lawn cottages are a wonderful place to base yourself while visiting the surrounding districts, serene rural setting with peaceful beautiful gardens. Very comfortable cottage ,very well appointed. David and Eric made us feel very welcome.I would highly recommend Lawn Cottages for your stay in Clive/Napier districts

A great base for 2 weeks with family (we also rented a second cottage for part of the time). Kids loved the large garden and fresh fruit, but supervision definitely required around cactus and pond. The cottage itself was well equipped, with good quality linen, basic groceries, fresh flowers, and a good-sized living area and deck. Thanks for having us, Ski and Jacquie (and Meg!)

So close to both Hastings and Napier,easy to find.Gorgeous accomadation and sparkly clean.The grounds are worthy of a garden tour.Thank you for a restful and private 3 days.

Beautiful grounds, easy contactless check-in, good location, full facilities (really - everything), and modern & clean. Absolute bargain to top it off. Will be back.
