I was looking for a very special gift I like to give a living gift I did think about giving a box of chocolate or some cut flowers but those ones don't last long Decor Gardenworld was the 2nd Centre that I visited I was looking for a plant that is called kalanchoe there is lots of different colors when I look at them the flowers look like miniature roses and because they belong to the catus family you are able to take cuttings We entered the parking area a big sign free compost conditions apply On goes the 😷 health and safety while inside passed through with the trolley out side took off the 😷 had a walk 🚶‍♀️around 1 little problem on the ground have stones I had a trolley and having a 🚶‍♀️difficulty made it difficult in pushing the trolley around that is my only issue I was directed to the plants picked the one's I wanted I found the free compost conditions I would have to buy 2 🍎trees to get the free compost Went back in side yes on went the mask 😷 Paid for the plants The service was great pity 😑about the stones people with a walking or even a wheelchair ♿ may have a bit of a problem Yes hey u did come with me he just loves 💘looking out the window when we are out and about He really really likes looking out the window can you see him smiling 😃 Hey U is my guard companion When he sees me returning to the 🚗 up goes his tail wagging Everybody keep calm and carry on

Came here today to buy some garden pots and a birdbath. Great selection of pots and plamts available. Staff very friendly and helpful however the service from Larissa was outstanding, she was so helpful, knowledgeable and showed us lots of plant options. Thanks for your assistance today Larissa, we are very happy customers . A nice cafe here also

These gardens are beautiful, so nice to roam around and take in all the fragrant scents from the flowers. I was looking at Red Robin plants for hedging requirements. There is a big children’s playground, a bird cage with little canary’s for kids to look at, and a cafe called Bloom Cafe (it’s new name and it’s under new management) Marie the new lady is lovely and the food is very tasty, a wide selection of sweet and savoury foods to choose from, both indoor and outdoor seating which is under cover. Theres also a indoor shop with indoor plants and accessories. There’s plenty of parking also.

Was our first visit to the Decor gardenworld and we were really impressed with the amount of different things they have going on here.. It is totally worth getting yourself in to see the lovely folks here.. Its any easy drive from anywhere in Tauranga and you won't be dissapointed..

Access off main road differcult and limited parking. We'll laid out plant, trees and veges with some water features Cafe is nice for light meals and great coffee. Good place to meet, eat and while away the hours in a peaceful setting.

This place was amazing! Almost every time I go to a plant shop looking for string of pearls or chain of hearts they have none in stock (or if they do they look like they’ve seen better days) this place had a huge collection of them. It is so beautiful outside, nice big shady tree off to the side with tables and chairs underneath. All the plants were so vibrant and colourful and you can tell the staff have taken amazing care of them. I wish I had more money to spend there! I will definitely be back.

Decor nursery is a blaze of colour right now, and fully stocked with everything anyone needs to grow a great garden. Afternoon tea at the cafe topped off n enjoyable meeting. The whole place felt that it has had a subtle, but very effective, facelift. Cafe staff were delightful; helpful, but not in-your-face. Food lovely. Then we walked around. The grounds were tidy, vibrant; we were asked if we needed help, and it felt sincere. I was welcomed in the shop and I had the feeling people cared. Has there been an ownership change?

We went to celebrate a birthday and were very impressed with our meal and the service. The squid was succulent and we all thoroughly enjoyed our choices. More centered around landscapers or older people who like flowers. Edible selection was lack luster. The workers seem to dislike kids. Just staring the hole time waiting for a chance to growl. So yea it's for old people. Even walking into the car park you cop glares from the old people coming in quite strange place. But I liked the old cat loves a good pat. Even tho the workers reakon hes a scratcher they are quite trippy staff honestly I go to garden shops alot. Abit addicted possibly lol. This place has the oddest/grumpy staff I have come across in the bay so far. Need to step there game up old people dont live for ever.

Lots of gravel everywhere. Wear your sneakers. Loose chip gravel covers the parking lot and plant display yard paths. Bad news to expensive sandals. [Updated review from 3 to 4 stars] First try: No joy asking for a specific tropical plant. Lack of 2-way Radios for quick cashier to yard staff questions and I felt I was given the runaround. Not good for sandals. 2nd Visit: Great follow up phone call a few weeks later to let me know the plant I wished for was in store, great service, and the plant was a beautiful, lush & healthy speciman that I had to adopt! Thank you, Decor.

This garden centre is one of those destination places. As well as a fabulous range of garden products, they also have a wonderful range of giftware and garden decor. The cafe is large and there is a lovely big deck to sit on that circles the cafe. this is a great place to meet up with friends.

Well.... just in general chatter I said to one of the staff owe it's startjng to chill down now and she comes back at me with no it's not it's hot... made me feel abit awkward and not very friendly and inviting I just wanted to leave after that... on the other side the lady in the shop was really friendly she gave me a welcoming smile and said hello 😊 it's a shame some staff manners are offensive
