R.So many plants!! So little time! Wonderful place to spend a day (or three!) Many things we have rarely seen before. Such a shame we live so far away. We will have to come back in cooler weather.
And the Glasshouse Cafe served a fabulous bowl of loaded fries! Yum! ( And awesome coffee)
L.Wonderful garden centre with a large variety of homewares. Good selection of plants both indoor and outdoor.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. Be prepared to spend some time browsing as there is so much to see.
Good parking area right at the door so not to far to take your purchases.

r.I bought a $4.50 punnet of six red sunflowers. Amazing ! I've counted 25 flowers on just one plant !! Fingers crossed the seeds will grow.
N.Awesome! Might even drive just to go there from South Coast again! Great selection of indoor catch pots and large numbers very high quality house plants. A lot of homewares

T.In search of coffee one post Christmas morning, we happened across California Home & Garden in Fairfield and was super impressed by how extensive the garden Centre with all aspects of garden accessories, plants, homewares, art, clothing accessories and much more. It really was a full retail experience visiting as well as having breakfast and staff was super friendly!

S.Awesome garden centre, fantastic gift shop & cafe attached, highly recommend both for variety & good quality gifts and general nick knacks, the cafe also for selection and general deliciousness. The garden part always has a beautiful selection of all types of plants, garden seeds, bulbs and tools; also an area for pots. All also have helpful and congenial staff to help out with your questions and directions. Have been there multiple time throughout the years, my go-to garden centre. Love it!

Disappoitnted with their service. Twice I have reserved the same plant which upon collection they had given to someone else because of their errors. No solution offered. Pitty, as I liked the garden centre.

M.Attractive, established, garden centre that is well laid out both inside and outside with a wide variety of plants. Their home and living section stocks unique, pretty artefacts and artistic, gift items. Understandably because of their smaller size and suburban location their pricing is a tad higher than the larger, warehouse centres.
Their Glasshouse Cafe is delightfully set amongst a luscious array of realistic-looking flowers and palms in block colour design (kudos to the floral arranger). It's a great asset for the locals that they have a handy, attractive cafe where they can meet up for coffee or shop for their garden needs. No need to drive across town, just walk or bike to the centre or if you drive, find stress-free parking any day of the week.
F.It was a cute store, with lots of cool things. I enjoyed my breakfast at the cafe but the eggs weren’t the best.

E.Not much choice for someone who has dairy intolerance, however their vegan aioli is beautiful, with a side of double cooked fries 👍Also if you suffer with the cold wouldn't recommend d on a cold or slower day. More bodies would keep it warmer lol.

R.Don't go to the cafe. Poached eggs overdone, have had burnt pancakes in the past, big breakfast has no flavour lacking salt(which is not available on tables). On top of this it is all overpriced.

Z.My most favorite gardening place in Wellington for specialist plant requirements! Lots of pots and plant options (including bonsai) and a massive variety of indoor and outdoor homewares. Prices range from fair to expensive but there's so much to choose from, it's really not an issue. If I am struggling to find specific items I need for my gardening, i always end up finding it here!
