R.First time visit to this Cafe. Seafood Chowder was delicious, tasty & warmed through. Ciabatta bread was fresh & lightly toasted. Service was quick and efficient. All this through lunch hour. Very nice, would recommend.

R.Great atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Seating inside and outside. Cabinet was full of well presented food including gluten free options. We had coffee, tea, savoury muffin and blackberry torte with yoghurt. Very friendly and helpful service - food and drinks arrived as ordered although the tea pot was super tiny! Maybe need to get slightly bigger version!

R.Went to buy trees and came away with 2 fruit trees with 25% off and a magnolia tree. Staff were very helpful. Had a coffee and blueberry/ lemon cake at the cafe, which was delicious.

K.Good selection....but I shame the prices are high. Good for punnets of veg or flowers. Bigger plants not cheap but have generally found plants in good condition. They also have a good selection of roses each year.
A.It's a typical Palmers franchise, loaded with everything you could want, except for what I was wanting. Spacious carpark outside. Not sure about Public Conveniences, couldn't find them. No staff outside for Customer Contact.

L.New owners. So nice to see fresh, healthy plants in store. Huge improvement in all aspects of this garden centre, the atmosphere is so much more relaxed, the staff look like they are actually happy to be here. The outside area needs more work in regards to maintenance but I am certain that will come.
M.Fabulous cafe. Really good coffee and delicious food. I recommend the creamy mushrooms and the kids meals (pancakes, with bacon) were great too. Excellent atmosphere to chill and very entertaining for the kids with a playground, colouring and space in the garden centre to wander around looking without disturbing others. It was also very clean and staff were welcoming and friendly.
T.The Cafe was brilliant. Great food and the service was the best, friendly, efficient. Highly recommend.

H.A small, local plant and gardening goods store. Disappointed with the lack of selection and on the day we visited, some of the plants looked wind-blown and not in the best shape. They had a few vegetable and flower seedlings on sale, so that was good.

D.I have had some great service from mitre 10 motor mower dept in the past. Not so much lately. Motor mower dept needs to lift game and be helpful. Phone contact is a nightmare.
C.Went to cafe for brunch. Food was ok. Bacon overcooked but otherwise rest of food eaten was good. Situated in the grounds of Palmers so can look at buying things for the garden.
S.Palmers is situated in a gardening specialization. We like going there even with young children who are growing up with memories of kindly hospitality. The hospitality is efficient,the food is beautiful.

S.Visited Palmers about 2.15pm on Father's Day 2019. Florist corner was vacant. Went with the main purpose of trying out the new cafe. Plenty of counter food available. Pleasant staff. Food okay. The hot chocolates and coffee came in heated cups, but the liquid contents were disappointingly lukewarm.

f.Visited the whangarei Palmers garden centre today. It is getting its mojo back after changing hands. More stock, some interesting stuff, more pots. Some half wine barrels today, quite a few indoor plants. Lots of vege and flower seedlings. Lovely hostas. Not ‘cheap’ but reliable and handy. Worth a visit.

j.Fantastic service. Used to shop at a bigger palmers so choice at this smaller one isn't as great,still good though. I made a spontaneous action went to palmers woohoo sale on. Got lots of plants that are reduced and need some love.
