The prices are reasonable 6.50 for a large wash. About $5 for 40 minutes in the dryer.
I used to go to self service ones when no staff are present, but Chatters always has at least one or two staff there.
They are always pleasant and polite, I usually see them cleaning the flint from the driers and also cleaning the top of the machines and premise. So much nicer than other places that only get cleaned once a day if your lucky.
You can only pay them $1.50 and they take your washing out of the washing machine into the drier and into your bag to collect, instead of waiting around for it to dry, very cheap.
The people that go there are friendly, I found when going to cheap and nasty places, like the one on rosebank road, the people can be rude and aggressive.
I enjoy doing my washing here as I know it's clean and the equipment has been cleaned throughout the day.
The only thing if you do go, Sunday morning can be a nightmare with the Avondale market, I try to avoid Sunday mornings until 1 to 2 pm.
