L.Perfect place for your laundry. Make sure to come early, if you want to wash your clothes on special discount ($7) on Tues&Thu from 7AM to 3PM. Place has 4 washing machines and 4 dryers. WiFi is available as well. Washing takes around 30 minutes and drying around 12. No credit cards accepted.
F.Really great place, the detergent that they use is really good. Just a little bit expensive ($10 per wash). Btw, I sent a message to know about the wifi password but I didn't receive an answer.
S.Terrible experience today. Went in to see a closed for maintenance. Washing and drying for my load would typically take hours. I double checked to make sure it shows it is open on Google maps, it even shows today evening was the least crowded time. Wasted an evening setting aside time to come over and a see a notice saying its closed. I chose this place based on the google reviews :( I even checked their website. Feel like I overplanned. If you do maintenance on Thursday evenings please update the maps timings to reflect that.
J.The washing machines do a great job of cleaning ones clothes without leaving marks like some other places can. It's also convenient that the washing machines dispense there own detergent. One negative is that a wash is quite expensive, even with a card that you can put money on but drying is more reasonable.
M.I was very excited about this place, and for the most part it lived up to my expectation. It was clean/new and inexpensive. Some of the directions for use weren't exactly obvious, but you figure it out eventually - It's just time consuming. Also not having an eftpos machine is a bit of a pain.
Another bonus for some is that you don't even have to take your own detergent with you, as it self doses.
Unfortunately this is where i was let down. I really wanted to give my towels and bedding a through hot wash that my machine at home doesn't do extremely well. My towels and bedding came out smelling beautiful and felt super clean. I was very impressed with the place, that is until i got home and put the sheets on the bed. Just two hours into sleeping, my partner woke up to find that he was having a server reaction to the detergent; his Lips and one eye (the one on the pillow) had swelled and a huge raised red rash appeared all on the front of his body where he had been sleeping. This has never happened to him before, and i can only deduce that their product is quite a harsh industrialised brand. I don't blame Wash Station at all but perhaps a sign saying what detergent they use would be helpful and/or purchase a sensitive brand instead, so to accommodate all if you aren't able to give people a choice. Other than that it is very good.
P.Quick, conveniently located, relatively cheap, laundry mat to wash and/ dry your laundry. Best time to go is during the day on Tuesdays or Thursdays (cheaper), $7 for a wash! and only $2 for 12 mins on the powerful dryers, open 7 days a week till 11:30pm!
L.Clean and reasonably priced. I went here for the first time today and initially got confused as to how to operate the dryers. Called the listed cell phone number and the owner was very happy to talk me through the process and give me some good tips. I will definitely be using this place more in the future.
J.Wash Station NZ is the cleanest laundromat I've ever been. The machines are new and fast. I was able to be in and out in about 1 hour. I also like that they have clear instructions everywhere and the staff is friendly and super helpful. All detergent, sanitizer and softner are included is great!
E.Tidy establishment in a pretty safe area. Machines are in good condition, even if it's not quite so obvious how to use them - you don't put tokens in the actual machine but on something that looks like a switchboard.
Before even considering washing read the instructions FIRST.
The timers are quite deceptive so expect 60mins wash. Soap built into the machines.. No need to add any extra. Nice.

J.Never takes any 5. After a timeout, steals money.
(modified from 1 to 3 stars since owner reply) The machine did not take any 5's. We had six of them, other people in the laudromat also had 5's that were not taken. While going to get coins at the corner shop, the machine timed out in taking the money. Perhaps it credited something or someone, but there was no obvious recourse. Please post obvious signs and directions for people to follow to get their money back. Everything else was lovely.
p.Had the note reader eat my money and not credit my machine - then had to wait for the guy to turn up and sort out a refund. Did eventually get my washing done and So no complaints there - Clean and dried without any problems .Just make sure you bring coins as the note reader must be dodgy.
M.Good local laundromat that I use most weeks to dry my sheets (the joys of apartment living!). No need for washing powder as the machines dispense it for you.
