Fantastic stay at this top 10. We enjoyed staying near the stream, nice and private. Lovely and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only wee thing that would be better would be if bathrooms were a bit closer to our site. Had to walk a wee way for the toilet

Friendly, inviting camp spot. Convenient push button showers. Great location to beach / wineries/walks and perfect onsite pool for small area size. Sites were a little crammed - best for max 4 people per site but everything else made up for it. Thank you for a lovely stay x

Great site and close location to Hastings (25 min walk to main shopping area) Wonderful pool, jumping pillow and park for kids. You can hire bikes and go karts. Plenty of clean kitchen and bathroom facilities for everyone. The staff do a great job of keeping everywhere clean and tidy despite the volume of people visiting over Christmas and new year. Nice and peaceful after 10:30pm at night. The only thing letting the site down (which has nothing to do with the management and staff) are the fellow campers! Some campers enjoy blasting out the same Sons of Zion tracks out for 14hrs a day..which at first is bearable but then becomes very tiresome at 7:30am in the morning 🙄 the pitches are a good size but with family’s liking the huge 8 man tents this leaves little room for much else so again you are close to your neighbours. Like I say this isn’t a reflection on the camp but if you like a little more space and privacy then book two plots and bring ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones!

Great place, been a few times now. Love the facilities and friendly family environment. Would highly recommend. Plan to be back in April and Xmas this year.

We love staying here, as a family it has everything we need - space to run around, playground, nice pool and good facilities. Also close to Havelock and Hastings shops so super handy!

Great camp, swimming pool and nice play area. Central to wineries and many surrounding activities. Clean amenities too.

It's ok go to Kai ewi holiday park and you will know the difference between 3star 5 star

No I don't go there unless my grandies come from wellington.to see me which hasn't been for a long time I would love them to visit me here I love all of them so much

Awesome. Stayed two nights over the Six60 concert Jan 2021. Arrived late due to travel, so Hayley had left simple details for my after-hours arrival. Great, clean bathrooms and showers, with an additional toilet block over the back, for the convenience of the tent/camp-site users. Awesome playground for the kids, music playing, and swimming pool, constantly giving enjoyment to campers while I was there. Gentle night lighting stayed on, and the whole place felt really safe. Three 17 to 19 year old young ladies next to me had an awesome time too, which made me feel confident that my daughter would be safe at a Top10, too. For just over $100 all up, I'd definitely go back.

We loved it! great family atmosphere, great fun to be had they have everything you need. A swimming pool to keep you cool, a excellent playground for the kids, room for kids to be free and play. We were so stress free here and highly recommended to anybody looking for somewhere to really chill out. Splash planet is just around the corner. And right opposite the holiday park there is a dairy and takeaways beautiful fish.

Manager was very helpful get my mum in to a cabin the park is very clean and nice the biggest let down is seeing all the benefits in the park and how they don't keep their kids under control last night was a good example kid riding push bikes in and around the kitchen and loos and there out of control behaviour in the TV room all two people fighting please sort this out

Quite a nice place with good facilities, but extravagant prices. 1bunk small cabin, no facilities $130 off season $150 on season, seems like robbery to me. There are 4 & 5star hotels with breakfast at this sort of price. So won't be staying here again. 3stars because facilities were up to scratch.🤔

Just visited & stayed 3 nights. Got an awesome site overlooking the meandering creek running thru the property. Love staying here. Staff are absolutely fantastic, Facilities are clean & tidy. Thank You for an amazing 3 days

Stunning campground in a beautiful part of New Zealand. Very well maintained grounds, huge mature trees. Nice big pool & playground. Good sized kitchen, bathrooms and laundry. The campsites are a decent size and are nice and level which is always a bonus. Very handy to Splash Planet and just down the road from Hastings town and Havelock North. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet, immaculate campground

First time we have visited this park, very impressed with the entire complex, well set out, staff keep the place looking impressive and were outstanding, we had an ideal camp site, where we could be as private as we wanted, yet could also be social. Everything there that you require, we will be booking again. Thanks for the great stay, cheers!🍺

We came from Tauranga. We didn't arrive until 7.52pm. We were liaising with Hayley prior day and on the day. She was amazing! It was a very last minute booking and we were so stressed about getting there. She reassured us all would be good. When we arrived she greeted us with a big smile and a happy welcome and was very patient with us, even though it was pretty much knock off time for her. So appreciated her on the arrival. Grounds were cool too!

The facilities were good and staff are friendly and helpful, however many of the tent sites are very small and during peak season it gets very crowded. Possibly not the best if you have a very large tent or like having room to spread out or freedom to pick where to pitch your tent.

My sister stayed here for emergency housing she and her children loved it but there were a few people (other tenants) who weren't so nice. Also what I didn't like about this place is they kicked all emergency tenants to accommodate for the private holidayers on labour weekend where did you expect them to go when they are homeless? And if they found somewhere to stay why are they in emergency housing??? Questions unanswered

Fantastic accommodation, clean, modern, warm cabins with nice linen and at a great price! Greeted by a lovely friendly staff member upon arrival. Lovely spacious grounds with heated swimming pool at 30 degrees! Great kids play ground. Staff were all friendly and even let the kids have a bit longer in the pool after usual closing time. Thanks top 10 Hastings, your team made our final stop on our journey a great one :)

A fantastic place to stay with plenty of space for everyone. The cabins and communal areas are exceptional clean, particularly the toilets. Checking in and out was simple with no dramas. The friendly staff were certainly helpful. The pool is brilliant and we all had fun in there. The playground the children loved and as typical little kiwis they practically stayed there making new friends. Overall a very pleasant stay was had by all and we are already planning to come back.

Stayed here 3 months ago, 2nd Top10 Holiday Park we had ever been too. What an incredible place. Awesome facilities, well laid out grounds, pool, kitchen block, showers. Staff were very welcoming & explained the layout of the camp & local attractions. Just around the cnr from Splash Planet. Easy to get to Napier & the cycle routes awesome. There is no doubt we will be back. Got too love COVID-19, get too see our own Country

Hi the camping site we where stationed for 4 days was awesome. The facilities with water and dumping site was well placed but however the laundry was the downer had only two washing machines for the area I was at and the driers only dryer half of the clothing due to other people waiting it took 3 hours to wash and half dry the cloths ended up going to the 24 hour laundromat in town.

Really nice place to stay, neat & tidy grounds. Beautiful in Autumn with all the different colored leaves. Great place to stay for a family holiday plenty to do with having a pool, spa tennis/basketball court. Handy with having a shop across the road. The owners and staff are welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

Beautiful grounds. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage. Very clean and tidy. Had a nice deck with a pleasant view. Facilities included pool and childs play area. Friendly helpful staff. Takeaway and store across the road. Would definitely stay again

Totally love this place. Great people and great location.

The park is clean and tidy, very well managed and has great facilities. It would have been nice though if the pool was heated from the get-go and not after 3 days of boring miserable weather. The spas are expensive at $8 for half an hour therefore hardly ever in use. Hot showers are good, but on a 7 minute timer, half of which is cold so be sure to soap before you even turn that timer on! Very convenient dairy accross the road, as well as Splash planet just around the corner

Great place loved it. Bed mattress was very thin but only hurt coz im fat. Stayed in a cabin and was great for kids family time. Definitely be back next year without a doubt.

Really well run holiday park. Great place to stay if you want to visit splash planet as it is a short drive, maybe 2min. Swimming pool on campground site, spa pools to hire, fun bikes for the kids to hire. Showers and Toilets kept to a very high standard. Recommend.

The staff are so helpful and friendly. The place is very super clean and has everything you need. Kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the pool and how everything was so easily accessible. Fantastic burgers across the road from the dairy and a short walk from Splash Planet. In short - Fanbloodytastic!

I didn't like this one so much, the laundry place has only one dryer machine working, the washing machines were smelly and they didn't have coins for them. The cabin was ok but it had a really dangerous stairs. The cleaning should be better.

Love Hastings Top 10. It’s simple without being basic. Great grounds with a good playground and pool. I have stayed in the cabins and in the camping ground. Both were great experiences. Kitchen and Bathrooms are central and kept clean.

Please be mindful this Holiday Park is used as Emergency Housing. While we have no issues with the concept of housing vulnerable people in times of need, we found a few of the incumbent tenants a little uncomfortable to be around. For example, there are clear rules around no smoking yet I saw at least 4-5 people smoking on site near common areas including the playground while I was there. We decided that, given we were in a camper van with 3 children, the lack of paying guests made us feel a little uneasy. We went to another Holiday Park in the region instead. We explained this to the receptionist who was understanding and refunded us but we would’ve liked to have known this information upfront. We know during a post COVID environment, tourism operators need to secure revenue from appropriate sources but this should have been made clear to us from the outset.

We absolutely loved our stay here! My husband and I took our 2 boys here for 3 days and 2 nights. We stayed in a Standard Cabin which was perfect for just us! The whole stay was Real chill! Very simple but has all your needs covered! We can't wait to come here again but next time, we'll be bringing our whole family!!!!

Facilities are spotless, management and staff efficient would totally recommend this venue to anyone. The manager is a very special and caring person

Firstly, the managers of the park were very helpful, informative, and welcoming. Great people! I stayed in a self contained apartment, it was cleaned to a high standard and had everything I needed for my stay. It is a very well appointed holiday park with great facilities and lots to do. I really enjoyed my time there and I will definitely be back again. Ten out of ten Top10!

This is a great holiday park. If you have kids, try and book a spot close to the playground/pool facilities. They are located away from the main entrance and make relaxing and looking after the kids doable at the same time. Very clean facilities, great location.

Even in the cold winter, it is beautiful. Our late evening check in was no problem at all & easily arranged prior. After 7 hours of travelling in rain & wind to arrive at our chalet with electric blankets & heating on was perfection! The heated pool was also amazing!

Overall facilities are fantastic with very polite and helpful staff. Although I do feel like after paying so much for these facilities, they would at least be "free" ($1) for a 6 minute shower. Also, while we were there it seems like a school trip was also staying. Which is fine except for the fact that the kids were overly loud and playing all over the camp site with no supervision until after 8pm at night, which on a nice night when you'd like to sit outside and relax, definitely ruined our evening in Hastings. Especially as we where parked right next to the playground. Lovely campsite over all but some warning about a school trip of over 30+ kids would have been nice.

Great service and when we arrived late at night they had our room key waiting for us without hassle. The rooms were fairly basic but they have a range of other options including tent sites. Everything you'd expect from a top 10 is there, including a small amount of free WiFi. And the bathrooms/kitchen were clean.

Really enjoyed this top 10, heaps for kids to do! go karts for hire, marshmallow roaring fire set up every night over the holiday season, beautiful swimming pool and large playground that included not 1, but 2 trampolines for them to use. Awesome fish and chip shop across the road as well. Staff were a breeze to deal with and when we needed extra towels it was no issue to just pop into the office to replace our damp ones as needed. Looking forward to visiting in the near future, love this place

Would have been a lot better if a few maintenance issues were sorted. Both trampolines were broken but had no exclusion to keep kids off them. Swings were very noisy and even after another camper complained nothing was done about them. Which really detracts from the experience if staying as they were still in use well past 11pm and started at 5.30am. A simple application of grease would work wonders. Other than that, facilities were clean and tidy. Unfortunately the tree we were camping under dripped sap on it tent and the ground was littered with seed pods that damaged the tent floor.

The facilities at this Top 10 were pretty good. Decent toilets and showers which were clean, although you need to pay for hot water ($2 for six minutes. The kitchen was pretty basic - hot water boiler, sinks, stoves and fridges is about all you get. It was fairly quiet when we were here. Splash Planet is just around the corner and there is a Four Square at the end of the road.

Fabulous location, clean kitchen and bathrooms. Wonderful pool.. It's not our first time camping here and it won't be our last.

We absolutely LOVED it here. Do much to do on the camp grounds and splash planet is just around the corner. Reception is always helpful and gets on to things straight away and helps you with more activities. I hope to visit again soon

Parapaligic shower does not lock and has no unisex sign.also no where to hange your cloths. Very over priced compared to other top 10's

Great staff friendly and helpful. Also very well run with great facilities. We stayed 3 nights in units which were fantastic and 2 nights in a cabin which are as expected pretty basic and without air-conditioning in January in Hastings, which is harsh on us wellingtonians who aren't used to the heat haha! That's our fault for booking you late though!

The campsite has excellent facilities that caters for all, great pool, playground and tennis/basketball court, close to Splash Planet and shopping areas. My family had an amazing time, top marks will be back.

Its a great! place to stay. The pool, bathrooms, and kitchen area are 5 star, the rooms look fantastic. They have a complimentary spa pool, and a tennis/Basketball court, and the employees are amazing!!! I strongly recommend this place if your ever finding a place to stay in Hastings.

Has been a great location to bring the kids to for the last 3 years running. On site amenities are great and price is very reasonable. 2017 did bring a negative - did not get the booked site, was placed by the lake which doesn't work for small children. Did get moved near where we originally had booked at least.

Good camping area, Pool was good, Showers costs 1$ at 21$ per night seems a bit unfair - there could be a better solution preventing strangers from showering there.. Other than that very good kitchen/cooking facilities and everything very clean. Staff very friendly but be aware of thiefs because it's located quite central in Hastings.

We stayed with Hastings Top 10 Holiday Park in January 2018. It was perfect with the kids, fantastic amenities, immaculate accommodation and fantastic location. Can't wait to come back again.

Good for our group. We had 3 x 2 bedroom cabins. Tidy though signs of being highly used. Cracks in shower linings toilet really noisey as well as creaking floorboards. No locks on toilet shower area so ensure you knock 1st. Good facilities bbqs and outside area. Pool and tennis/bball court. No after hours contact I could find as there was a noisey unit. Price was okay but still.peak season over easter. Lady needed to change her watch for daylight savings as pool was supposed to be open until 8.00 but was kicking kids out before then. Good for families. Camping spots and powered sites too

Had a nice stay in Hastings at the Top 10 holiday park. The place was filling up for xmas and new year but we still found all facilities met our needs. Our only issues were: wife had couple of cold showers as some weren't working correctly, and people not cleaning up after themselves.

A lovely setting next to Windsor Park and Splash Planet. It has plenty of facilities for kids especially a really lovely pool which felt like it may have been heated but wasn't. Some tent and camper sites are next to a pond / stream with ducks and a goose.

Nice level pitches with wifi and water next to each spot. No demarcation lines between each site so go by the numbers being the centres for pitching purposes. We camped by the river but wished we’d have set up further away from the big tree by the two cabins. Just got a few sap spots on the canvas. Other than that. If you’re not one for ‘swannjng off’ every day, there’s hereto keep everyone in the family engaged: heated outdoor pool, tv room, plenty of outdoor and indoor cooking and washing up areas. The showers take a dollar coin, but run the hot tap in the sink until it gets hot before you drop in your coin and get busy. A great tip from the lady on the front desk. Who was very helpful. Had there been an outside bar or entertainment, this would have been a five star. Would definitely go back though if I was in the area again. Probably in a cabin next time.

Our family of five spent the first few days of the school holidays, @ Top10 Hastings, great and friendly staff, what a picturesque back drop so close to town. Fantastic pool, spa, a play ground with trampoline, a climbing wall, bikes and gocarts to explore the park kept our three busy and entertained, we spotted a few eels and fish in the stream below our deck which wines thru the park. Recently renovated bathroom in our motel room, was an added bonus the shower was deluxe and everyone stayed in longer than the norm. We will be back!

Really nice place to stay, the park has a huge range of facilities, including a pool, tennis courts and decent play ground for the kids. The rates were quite high for a powered site I felt, but you get what you pay for.

Checked in to a powered motorhome site and were immediately impressed by the gardens and trees. The facilities were next to impress - ample bathrooms, laundry and kitchen. The pool was great and the bbq area was well lit up and a buzzing communal area. Would have stayed a day or two longer if we could.

There are a few levels of rooms that you can choose from. The 3 I stayed in are as followed ( these are not the real names of the rooms as I cannot remember them) Basic - this I'd the bare minimum room, one double bed and a bunk bed, comes with a mini fridge, toaster, kettle and no tv. There is a small table in the corner of the room. The room is very small there's about 200 cm between the bunk beds and the double and about half a metre from the double to the table. This room is good for a couple nights stay at the most due to the limited space. Basic plus - exactly the same as the basic but has a 15 inch TV mounted to the wall above the table. *THESE ROOMS DO NOT HAVE TOILETS OR KITCHEN YOU MUST USE THE COMMUNAL REST ROOMS AND KITCHEN* The last room is more of a small house then anything 2 bedrooms one containing a double bed and the other with bunks and another single with room in both for belongings A very nice bath room with the hand basin separate from the toilet and shower. The lounge/kitchen with a 55 inch TV, 2 three seater couches, a mircowave and cupboard big enough for all foods. It also has a deck out the back over looking the holiday camp. This small house is perfect for an extended stay period and highly recommend this room No real cons at this holiday camp apart from the comunal rest room and kitchen but that's personal preference. It's only a 5 minute drive from the city center and it's just behind splash planet

One of the best holiday parks in New Zealand. There are a plenty of space for camping. You can count with a good toilets, a nice kitchen, laundry, spa and a amazing swimming pool. Internet is paid. No water point and no grey water make my review 4 stars.

Awesome place to stay Central to everything close to Splash Planet we had the Holiday house with 3 bedrooms comfy sofa huge veranda with a hot tub BBQ and picnic table. Highly recommend

Staff were amazing . I travel from papakura/Auckland and me and my 2 kids and partner had the best time it's cheap and the holiday park gives us specials for the pools .

All the family lives in Napier so we would always pick this holiday park to stay at if all the familys houses were full, such a lovely Holiday park well set up would definetly recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere to stay at a holiday park in napier!! Brings back so many good memories! Also know alot of people who always recommend this holiday park too!! Has been a well known holiday park for yonks!!😁😁👍👍 cant wait to come back!

Top 10 holiday park in Hastings is a fantastic place to stay in Hawkes Bay. Walking distance to Splash Planet, a great range of accommodation (tenting, cabin, tourist flats) and things to do. With a brilliant fire pit to gather around at night, swimming pool, spa and bike hire. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Have stayed here a few times over the years with my parents! Cannot wait to share this experience with my partner! One of my favourite stays in NZ!

Was so awesome to stay here and the staff were so friendly & helpful I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this camp ground & no wonder why they are 1 of the top 10 camp grounds. My partner & son & I were only planing on staying one night but it was so nice we decided to stay a couple of nights instead.

Best for families with kids. Very loud campground with many activities for kids but not the best place for private campsites for self-contained vehicles. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Conveniently located.

What a wonderful place for a family camping holiday. Kids just couldn't get enough of the amazing pool, clean, tidy and modern amenities. We'll definitely be back again next summer!

Powered sites are passable, Wi-Fi very stingy for Top10, toilet block could be better. Showers are charged which is unusual. Not the best. Only stayed for one night.

Lovely park, clean rooms and wonderful staff. Hastings top 10 ticks all the boxes and exceeded my expectations! Biggest highlight was the pool :)

Great variety of rooms available for single travellers, groups or families. Small shop onsite, pool and park for kids, clean shared kitchena dn bathroom facilities. About 3mins drive to CBD, location is across the road from Splash Planet. Central location to Napier, Havelock North etc (approx. 10mins drive) and all the Hawkes Bay has to offer. Good quiet location.

Even though my backpack was stolen in this campsite it is actual a very good Top 10. The staff was very nice and the facilities are clean and the kitchen is tidy. And the pool was very nice on a hot day.

We had a lovely site next to the stream. It was just a very small site which was difficult. Also the toilets were quite far away which was not great in the middle of the night with young kids .

We satyed at the family cabins which had no door on the inside to seperate kids beds from ours. No hanger space or hooks to hang clothes. Mens toilets werent very clean. Otherwise further not to bad.

It's nice enough but $46 for an unpowered site!? that's about 3 times what I'm used to. Trouble is there's no other campsites in the area. I guess top 10 have a monopoly.

Good site, good atmosphere, lots of facilities. If I'd known how many facilities I could've swapped out my camp cooker for some regular pots from home, and my coffee press, dog!

Great place to take the family! Right next to Splash Planet & the facilities at the park are fantastic! Great pool, playground, BBQ area & fire pit to roast marshmallows!

Went there for a family bbq, I felt good vibes, calming feeling. Great environment. Friendly staff.

Nice central location. Room was tidy enough. Bit of a shame that we had to pay for showers even though we were paying $75 a night for the room...

Many games for children but Expensive, internet only 250mo ! And much more people than in smaller camping. But for Napier, it's the less bad choice
