S. G.Stayed with a friend in the 2 bedroom unit. Its was spotlessly clean and comfortable after a long days motorbike ride.
There is a nice short bush walkway to the Rugby club for a good feed and few beers at the end of the day.
This was my third stay at the holiday park and I will definitely be back in future.
A. M.Really lovely holiday park. The cabin and shared toilets and kitchen were very clean and tidy. The cabin had a sink and fridge, bed, table and chairs which was handy. Warm comfortable bed too.
N. K.Park was OK, the grass had been cut just before we arrived without a catcher which ended up all through our camper so that took a long time to clean out when we got home. The motel rooms were clean and well appointed but again the wet grass got everywhere.

G. S.Why would you go to Stratford, well, one reason would be to stay at this campground. First-time visit and it is a very well run spot. The staff are very friendly and down to earth. I stayed in a cabin which was perfect and my mum on a powered site with her motor home. The facilities had lots of little touches and super clean. There is also a fantastic hidden gem of a walk which backs on to the campground which took me by surprise and a credit to the local council.

We booked a powered site for two weeks and it’s a great location to base yourself while exploring Taranaki. Camp facilities were good: place was cleaned thoroughly daily; kitchen is stocked with the basic essentials; bathrooms had ample units and large shower stalls; and laundry on site including a covered clothes line. We particularly liked the large site, concrete pad and tall hedges offering privacy.
Oh and the pool was a nice perk! Also loved the walking trail right behind the campground, a more scenic route to walk in to town and ample other tracks to stretch your legs.
J.The camping itself is just alright, nothing special , however there is a swimming pool (inclusive) and a spa (5$). The owner or manager tries to accommodate your request. Unfortunately we arrived during Easter break and some careless people where making noise even at 2:00AM at night time. The night after we changed but if the camping was full, it wouldn't have been possible. Lots of kids and family as well so it is definitely not a quiet spot but it is also the best option for exploring Taranaki. Yes, I recommend.

T. E.Happy to give a 5 star for this. Very pleasing upon entry, well manicured grounds and lovely flower beds. Reception staff were so welcoming, very helpful and friendly. The indoor pool was amazing and a huge highlight for my daughter. Facilities were exceptionally clean at all times. An absolute please, highly recommend for all styles and budgets.
L. A.My husband and I stayed February 19th and 20th. We had initially booked a campsite for both nights. Katie advised us on the first night, that a Tourist Flat had just become available, and then on the second night, that a Standard cabin was now available.
Both nights were very comfortable.

M. S.This is a beautiful park. Facilities so clean. Nice unpowered sites. Flat and smooth, you can sleep on the grass and feel eternity pleading with you as you lie on your back and look up into the night sky. In January the warm nights wrap around you and and if you gaze upward a relief like a well sung chorus will fill you, as the stars sparkle and filter like a mirage of a by gone era, a mirror to steer the night onward to meet the morning light.

Our host was Jackie and she was very friendly and welcoming. She was very informative and advised of things to see & do.
The girls enjoyed the
indoor pool and the spa.
We enjoyed returning to the quiet surroundings of our camp site each day
after a full of doing the tourist stuff. The facilities were clean and tidy we enjoyed our stay and
recommend as a lovely place to stay, quit and central to everywhere we visited.
w.Stayed 4 nights as part of a group attending a wedding in nearby Normanby. Location was perfect as we travelled between New Plymouth and Normanby daily. Accommodation was great and management were very friendly. Would return for another stay if back in the Naki region again.
N. W.Facilities have been updated and were spotless. Spa pool was a lovely relief from the cold weather, they also have an indoor heated pool for all guests to use free of charge! Water pressure in shower was fantastic. The owner was here on our stay and she was lovely and made us feel very welcome.

Everything was fresh and clean....There's a indoor heated pool... A spa...An awesome play area... Peddle bikes for the kids.. Hair dryer in the shared bathroom... A great laundry with ample washing machines. It's peaceful & quite place set in beautiful surroundings. If your looking for somewhere to stay the motel units are also great. 😊👍 I highly recommended staying here, and would be more than happy to stay here again ☺️❤️
H. R.Powered site, $40/night, two people. Great site, good size with privacy hedge. Spacious kitchen area, very clean. Lots of amenities which were also clean. The pool is a nice touch. Friendly owners who obviously put the extra effort into running it. We had a small problem with the laundry, some shirts got pulls but owner very responsive. I'd definitely stay again.

We stayed 3 nights and was value for money. Room was very nice with a good comfortable bed as I hate soft ones. Good shower pressure and clean facilities. We were in a motel unit. There is a heated pool and spa available as well. Good for the sore bones.

S. M.Really cool park. Awesome for families. Loved the little bush walk you can access from the grounds. The swimming pool and the trampoline were a hit with our son. Looses a star for the lack of servicing in the motel suite. Site said full service but all they did was give us new soap and towels. When you say full service I expect new sheets on the bed and a full room clean.

S. v. d. H.Best showers in NZ so far! Spa pool is really comfortable and regular pool is free to use. Decent kitchen and great deck with grill. Place was very clean and we had a very spacious and private camp site. Got a great recommendation from management to watch the mountain and the drive to the plateau is worth the early rise!

A.Kitchen facilities pretty good, although toilets and showers luck of some fornitures to make it more confortable to use.. nice warm water in shower is hard to get, cause you have to choose between boiling water or frozen, they are going under some work. A positive aspect to say, even though the reception was closed by 20:00 we could park in our motorhome and sort everything out next morning.

P. R.Really nice campground. They have a free swimming pool and a pay per use jacuzzi. The showers and kitchen were very good. Loved the high hedge in between every site. They also have a dorm for backpackers as well as rooms. Loses a star because we lost 4 shirts in one load with pulls from one of the washers or dryers here. We usually use the rankerz app to find a site and this one isn't in it. We just happened to check campermate and found it. They really should get in rankerz.

A huge thank you to the owners of the "Stratford Kiwi Motels & Holiday Park" for making our stay in Stratford a pleasant and happy one if we ever vacation there again we know where we're staying LOL. I. a. A.Very quiet, with a indoor heated pool, which was approx 1.4m deep. The play equiptment was too young for Master 7, but there was a playground 3 minutes walk away through a bush walk. The kitchen unit we stayed in was well equipted. The units warm and cosy. Grounds and facilities were very tidy and clean. Dogs are allowed. I would stay here again.

Guter aber etwas teurer Campingplatz. Aufenthaltsraum mit Fernseher und Heizung. Gemütliche Sofas vorhanden.
Küche von den Geräten gut ausgestattet, allerdings kein Besteck und keine Teller.
Pool klein aber fein.
Toiletten waren sauber, heißes Wasser ohne Aufpreis vorhanden.
Alles in allem etwas teuer aber immer noch der günstigste in der Umgebung!

The course is located directly on King Edward Park. After about 20 minutes walk through the enchanted forest with considerable trees to reach the city center of Stratford. Malone's Restaurant and Bar is highly recommended. Great kitchen! Very friendly service. We felt very comfortable in Stratford. Come again!

Dieser Campingplatz vereint einige Vorzüge, die man woanders nicht findet. Er wurde kürzlich renoviert und verfügt über ein neues, Innenschwimmbad. Der Platz liegt direkt am King Edward Park. Nach ca. 20 Minuten Spaziergang durch den verwunschenen Wald mit beachtlichen Bäumen erreicht man das Stadtzentrum von Stratford. Malone's Restaurant and Bar ist sehr empfehlenswert. Tolle Küche! Sehr freundlicher Service. Wir haben uns in Stratford sehr wohl gefühlt. Kommen gerne wieder!
