This has been a great laundromat forever (clean, well priced, accessible etc) HOWEVER. It's now outstanding. The new inclusions of a 24 hour token machine and renewed attention to detail are above and beyond. Might have something to do with the cute young man on site during the day, he deserves a payrise! Keep the golden oldies radio tunes rocking guys, the surreal hataitai late-night laundry experience is not to be missed!

Awesome laundrette. Clean easy to use with the vending machine. Was caught out by the dryer being only 8 minutes per token, but otherwise a great chance to catch uobon laundry. Will use it agin when next back in Wellington

The parking isn't great on the weekends but the facilities are good and reasonably priced. The Rabbit Cafe down the road has yummy banana loaf 😋

Best Laundromat I have ever been to in the developed countries. Seamless Token purchase from the indian 4-Square dairy ( altho with a nonchalant "you are not buying from us" brush off"). Safe. Very nice clientele.

can't speak more highly of these guys! went to another laundromat over to home, wanted to charge me $40 to wash my mattress topper. went to hataitai and it cost me $6! plus I forgot to bring laundry powder and the helpful guy who worked there offered me not only free laundry powder but also fabric softener and bleach!! was a super kind bleach and I will always go here from now on. THANKS GUYS!

It's a laundromat. Clean, well lit, 24hrs. Tokens, detergent, and snacks at the fix a few doors down. Handy if you need to wash things too big for your home machine.

This place is too convenient and no drama for washing and drying. You can find lots of room here easily. Only issues is they should start 1 or 2 dollars coins again rather then tokens. But still tokens are available in near dairy and 4square as well.

Large washing machines smelt so bad, ruined my laundry one time and never gonna use it again (lack of maintenance.. I guess??). The dryers are good. That's what we came here for.

This place is great - nice and clean. Lovely location in an awesome neighbourhood. Easy instructions. On a sunny still day, while you're waiting for your washing, you can take a chair out onto pavement, read the newspaper and soak in the atmosphere. Or hang out at one of the neighbouring cafes or bar. A big fat 5/5. 23 Waitoa Rd, Hataitai - Cnr Waitoa Rd and William St. Unfortunately the Google map doesn't give the right location - misses it by about 5 doors.

(Translated) Small laundry, hardly seats. You have to buy tokens in the supermarket a few meters further. No sockets or similar so you can use the time meaningfully. Washing machines and dryers are okay. (Original) Kleine Laundry, kaum Sitzplätze. Token muss man im Supermarkt paar Meter weiter kaufen gehen. Keine Steckdosen oder ähnliches damit man die Zeit auch sinnvoll nutzen kann. Waschmaschinen und Trockner sind soweit okay.
