Reviews of Napier Library
S. R.Overall the service and staff at Napier library are great. However I would appreciate the website/Google details that come up when looking up Napier being regularly updated, especially now I’ve made a special trip into town to collect a book I’d reserved. I checked online and it showed that the library is “open and closing soon at 5pm”. Not true. The sign on the door when I got here says the libraries are not open on Sundays during level 2 Covid. Maybe I should have known that but it would be so helpful to have accurate information online. 😕
S.Very helpful staff, large variety of books even puzzles for kids. Awesome place to let your mind go free. Great place to spend time with family and friends
N. M.Very helpful staff, really helped my grandparents with the self service scanners. Quite a variety of books and it's a great atmosphere if you want to study. Also you can go write across to the MTG museum as theta re in the same building :)
R. A.Friendly staff. Private desks and heaps of plugs. Gets busy in the afternoom so can be hard to find a seat as the library is quiet small. Wifi can be abit slow at times.
R. O.Te Awamtu one is bigger. No charger points for mobile phones or laptops or tablets. 👎🏾
M. &. T.Really helpful ladies on the customer desk. Easy to join and a few different ways to take a book out - counter, self service kiosk, online and then of course there's Kanopy. Nice to still have access to a library albeit a small one.
