So glad I joined up its free , staff are helpful friendly . I kept on the look out for interesting art books, as I painted this painting of Mr.P.Blake (deceased ) Its been on my mind, a library full of well stocked knowledge can feed my brain. If I can add anymore to this painting or perhaps edit, I will find, all kinds of pictorial and biographical material that just maybe inform my next painting. So inspired to visit this library.

Very modern feel and many Maori features to this building, inside and out. This is a must see next time you visit Rotorua. Well manicured gardens and well placed modern art pieces through the area outside, giving a relaxed atmosphere for people of all ages. Truly a well appointed area in the heart of Rotorua.

I love a good library this one is an awesome facility. Te reo maori in good use. Met a lovely staff member Kim whome through our short conversation we discovered knew my mother . Had a drink and cookies at the lil cafe.

The Rotorua Library is simply wonderful. With friendly staffs ready to help. Books are easy to find. With enough sunlight coming in.

All mandatory aspects of Covid avoidance were set up well. Staff all very helpful and cheerful. Enjoyed my visit as usual.

Clean building and friendly staff. Several floors of books to see. The new download option of e books and audio books from the computer is a great feature

Brilliant library and staff to help, love it, plenty of spaces to sit quietly and read, fabulous computer area, space to do family research on line, free, excellent facilities, coffee, childrens section, plenty to see, do and read.

Massive high tech library with coffee shop. Super clean place with really friendly staff. Right across from isite center with a nice law n chairs to chill outside on

Holiday Program for Toddlers/children. nicely arranged program offering alsorts of activities suiting all ages, that was great to see,all the KNOWLEDGE being studied,shared,researched ect was Strangely"Satisfying" to be apart. My 2yr old, daughter, Michaelann really ❤️ LOVEs The Library... Recommend

First time I have been to Rotorua library since moving here a week ago; what a beautiful library (and the air con was a plus). Nice to see people sitting on bean bags and interacting outside.

Real asset to rotorua. Knowledge helpful staff.

One of my favourite places to go to. But not enough books, and too noisy when busy. Children should not be aloud to scream and run around inside. It is a library, and they're supposed to be quiet so people can ready or study.

It’s a huge library, the staff there are so friendly and welcoming..there is a coffee inside, toilets..rooms for recreation..they offer free wifi and on Thursdays closes at 8:00 pm.

Helpful staff but they're hard to find as they wear a black uniform (which makes them disappear because most of the general public in the library are also wearing black), and there is no obvious help desk.

My son and I love this place. It's very popular with the community and therefore can get full-on sometimes. So it's just a matter of picking a suitable time to visit. I've had only good experiences with the staff to date. Tge selection of rwading material is just right for our needs. What I like is that hey always have activities for kids and adults alike throughout the year and are usually themed around what's going on eg; Te Wiki o te Reo. The facilities are nice and central in Pukuatua St and sufficient while the renovations are happening. Parking can be a minor problem if you arrive at a busy time. Overall, a wonderful asset for Rotorua.

Just spent a lovely quiet hour doing work here. There is much to explore but I had work so that is what I did. Free WIFI and espresso coffee and air conditioning everything for a bit of quiet time out

This has to be the loudest library in the world. Later Edit: They have since moved to a new location which is much nicer than the last one also I had a much more enjoyable experience the second time so gave it a better rating.

An important hub in our community. Very rich in terms of our indigenous culture, a lot of stories to learn.

What a wonderful asset, great staff, enjoyed using the maker space.

I went there to use the computer and photo copy some things, with very helpful people and paying twenty cents for each copy and free public use on the computers and wifi. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love it ! It's new and sooo beautiful. The straff is friendly and you can charge your things in separate boxes.
