This statue of William Shakespeare is off Prospero place in Stratford (in sync with the original birthplace of Shakespeare > Stratford-upon-Avon in the UK). Shakespeare's gaze is straight at Stratford's Glockenspiel (playing clock), a first of it's kind in New Zealand. Romeo and Juliet's figurines perform with spoken dialogues and music, four times a day. A 'must do' when in the Taranaki region.
