T. S.Very easy to use, select your books, scan your library card, print out receipt if you want a record of what you have selected and the due back date and that's it.

In summer you might want to read in the nifty courtyard or pet the cat who wanders through. Like I said, paradise. There are also computers available.

A. B.A beautiful space with helpful, friendly staff, ready to help, educate and join the hunt! The parking is difficult at present due to the upgrade of the fabulous Sargeant Art Gallery but well worth the journey.

N. Y.The staff are friendly and helpful, the library branches have a good selection of books. Fees are fairly priced and the Internet and computer access is fair use focussed (in addition to the limited free access). A perfect book loving, learning and community space.

Came to Whanganui from Wellington and Kapiti and was surprised to find out that this library charges a 50c rental for each fiction book except for large print. I love that there is a library so I support it nevertheless. There is a decent range of books, and they make a decent cup of latte!
P. C.An excellent library with some wonderful members of staff who are only too willing to help you. A great selection of books fiction and non-fiction. Free wifi and the use of computers for members and non-members. Great children's action as well. A great facility for Wanganui.

C. C.Good library, nice helpful staff. But why oh why can't people keep their kids quiet in there? Some days all you can hear in there are kids yelling and playing and running around. Really annoying, when neither parents nor staff seem to do anything to quieten them down. Maybe I'm oldfashioned, but a library is not a playground?!
