Maison Vauron is an institution for all French wine lovers in Auckland. A great place to have lunch as well. Deli is quite pricey though.

Great food, great wine, great service. Authentic French experience. Ample parking outside.

I’m a regular here. Sometimes for lunch, sometimes for the deli and wine. And some times for all. I recently arrived just before closing, embarrassing to say I’d lost track of time and didn’t realise it was so late. However the gracious staff were very pleasant and didn’t rush me. I was thrilled with my decorative Saucisson selection packed on top of a wooden Camembert lid to form a plate. It’s always a treat to head upstairs and view the wine. The hard part is choosing. I’ve also ordered online, and my orders are always shipped promptly.

Just wanted to say congrats and thank you on the 20th anniversary. The lunch we had on Saturday was nothing but amazing. Gilles really went out of his way, that pork was so tasteful. It all was extremely well organized and thoughtful. I'm truly happy to have come across Maison Vauron (and atelier de Fromage) as it really feels like a piece of France so for away from the rest of world, here in NZ. Furthermore, because of the amazing and friendly staff, it also feels a bit like coming home. All the best for the next 20 years and looking forward to being a (small) part of that.

Great place for lunch, cheese and wine. To be a little more clear, Mason Vauron is situated upstairs, which specialises in French wines and spirits. Unique, quaint and impressive. Downstairs is where the cafe and cheese shop is situated. Every visit is an amazing experience! Truly a hidden gem if you enjoy food and wine.

Excellent lunch. Very nice French food for eating in or taking away. A word to the wise: if you see nice pastries at the takeaway counter when you walk in and would like them for desert, maybe order them earlier, they go quick quick quick. Saw a delicious looking chocolate eclair but it was gone by the time I was ready for desert 😢. I should mention they have a great French wine selection and good cheese selection too.

Excellent variety of wines and dare to taste the variety of cheeses and dishes, in the celebration of their anniversary did not skimp on the variety offered with an incredible menu, undoubtedly honor the exquisite French food.

This place is a french wine library with great knowledge of the history of the grape and winemakers for each bottle they have. It's not overly expensive, however you can request higher priced, more rare items. The shop is also beautiful.

Had a fantastic wine makers lunch here. The wine was amazing, the food was fantastic, particularly the washed rind cheese which I just had to buy some and take it home. The wine selection and presentation is superb!

Great authentic french offerings. My favourite go to café restaurant when in AKL. Try any of the pastries and sample some fromage. Parking can be a challenge just be patient (welcome to AKL). Great friendly staff. Worth allowing time to check out the huge range of french wines upstairs and not all are expensive either.

Just got my shipment of my beer and cheese from Maison Vauron. The bottles were expertly packaged for the trip and the cheeses still chilled in their own little ice chest. The Pont d'Eveque is just phenomenal with a flavor that is just lingers beautifully. It's a travesty to put it on anything and deserves to be on it's own.

Superb. Quite apart from the authentic French goods on sale and food options; the real stand- out feature here is the very French standard of service. As a Kiwi I felt spoiled in Paris and at MV I get the same feeling I had over there.
