Their selection covers the full gamut of elegant and exceptional European wines, with many other options also available too.
Hand picked range. If you are after something special when in CHCH, then this is the place to go.
Owners are knowledgeable, interested, and will help find the right wine for you.

R.This is a lovely wine& cheese shop that transports you from the city into what could be a beautiful airy warehouse on a vineyard. With knowledgable owner/operators that really know their stuff, this is a shop you want to ditch the supermarket for.
H.Engaging tastings, thoughtful, broad selection, and a matching depth of knowledge; Dave, and Decant, is an important part of not just the landscape of wine in Christchurch, but forms a pinnacle of the South Island, and indeed, this store is leading the wine drinkers of NZ as a whole onward, unto the best of the Old World, as well as the new.
Not to forget that Decant isn't merely a wine store, but an excellent cafe providing cabinet food with substance, and top coffee.... if that's your thing, or a glass of riesling if otherwise.
