M.Great food and location. Love the addition of the trailer serving pizzas etc.
Down side we have been here a few times and the service from the waitress has alot to be desired. Would still come back great place.

p. o.We stopped at Carricks on our way back from Cornish Point trail ride.
Location - the restaurant has a lovely outlook and plenty of green space for kids to play on. It looked like they may also have picnic mats for those that would like to sit on the lawn and take in the views.
Food - we ordered the duck confit and lamb racks. The duck confit was refreshing and the lamb racks were nicely frenched and prepared. Both meals were yummy.
Service - generally the service was good but the wait for our food took about 45 minutes. This took the sparkle off what would have been a lovely experience. As a result, we dropped our rating to a 4 star.

R. D.We have been eating Carrick's food every day this month during our harvest and they have the tastiest dishes. Always varied and using fresh produce from the garden, with lots of different options for dietary requirements. Their views are also amazing. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!

T.It takes nearly an hour driving from Queenstown to the Carrick Wines. The food and wine are wonderful, even the desserts after lunch are good.
We've made the booking at 12 :15pm on Tuesday afternoon and glad that we have booked. All the indoor sitting was full. If you walk in without booking, you can only sit outdoors with the strong winds.
S. S.We headed straight here from the airport and were rewarded with a lovely lunch and wonderful views.
We had the lamb shoulder for 2 and it was massive and perfectly - with the extras could easily have fed a table of 4.
Matched it with 2 different glasses of the local pinot, with just about everything the winery produced available by the glass.
Food was still being served to people who arrived just before 3, and the platters for the bigger tables loooked impressive.

For food we ordered the sharing platter and it was amazing. Homemade dips, beautiful cheese and meats and seafood. A must have when you visit Carrick to be enjoyed in the gardens of the winery.
