I'd say this is probably one of the hardest times ever to get a your hands on credit with the CCCFA and all the lending restrictions... combined with the fact that we were a difficult application - a newborn baby, me being self employed (less than 2 years) and partner that has been on maternity leave. Well, I think every one know, how scary the property market could be some time, particularly when you are first home buyers and bank tolled you (literary) off three time that you do not even have chance after waiting for 14 years and trying to save as much as you can.
