Pros: Good technique, friendly staff, they ask for any area needs a focus on. Cons: Could be better if outside staff do not just bang the door and walking past the massage area 3 times in 60 minutes session. They even have A4 size papers hanging on the wall saying "Stay quiet, massage in progress". Will be back again for improved experience. 👍

I thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing and rejuvenating 1hour full body massage from Ivy. Really good pressure and path around the body and tacking some very deep knots that have developed over years. Without me having to say anything. The value is great and the whole experience was very relaxing and I will definitely be coming back.

A great place for a massage duo. I’ve been a couple of times and I’m never disappointed. The professionals are great, they can offer you cups and other ways to release tension. Finish your treatment with a delish ginger tea 🫖

My therapist, Love, was fantastic! Perfect pressure applied - service and professionalism met my expectations. Although there was an incident at the back room (or perhaps more of an accident when something heavy fell on the floor) that woke me up. Maybe staff should be more cautious and conscious with customers needing a quiet space during a massage session. Nevertheless, will be back.

Spent the last couple of months exploring the massage providers in the takapuna area. For the most part they have been good nothing spectacular, however today i had a massage from Cherry, it was amazing, the techniques used emcompass many styles but holistically you feel great, clean and friendly calming voices and a great ginger tea to finish THANKS GUYS I will be back.

A wonderful experience each time you go. It seems all the staff give superb massage. Ivy released tension and brought a blissful state of relaxation to the whole body:-) Cherry managed to navigate my v knotted body with precision, determination and pressure but always checking that the pressure was ok. Body felt great and very relaxed. :-) With head massage, warm towels and ginger tea to finish - you are left so relaxed you’re floating and just want to sleep. Highly recommend

Amazing service! My partner and I went for a couple's Fully Body Hilot Massage with Ventosa Cupping. We left the spa feeling much lighter and relaxed. Ivy and Cherry were such pros! Highly recommend!

Place was pretty empty as it was a weekday afternoon, we were the only customers. Massage was relaxing and super affordable, check out their facebook page for ongoing promotions. Soothing music was played all through and the masseuse were attentive to us. Overall a good experience. The payment by debit card was not working but it was easy to pay over account transfer.

Ivy is a great masseuse very detailed and skilled she really know the exact spot points and she will ask if the pressure on deep tissue is ok to you.. thank you so much ivy

Inside is warm and inviting. The staff are super friendly and are very accommodating. The hot foot soak in the begging was delightful and the massage it self, wow so so good. Possibly one of the best I’ve had, I would recommend. I’ve also never tried cupping before so when I did so they made me feel comfortable and at ease I ended up actually enjoying it. Finished off with hot towels and tea, a seriously good way to finish my week. Will definitely be back soon.

Bamboo Spa is my go-to for a great massage experience! The therapists are very friendly and skilled and I always leave feeling so relaxed. The ginger tea at the end is the perfect finishing touch. I couldn't recommend them enough :-)

Bought a grabone voucher for bamboo spa takapuna just before the third lockdown and finally got to try it and gosh it was beautiful!! Probably the best one I’ve have so far and almost fell asleep to it. Ivy looked after me today, her techniques and strength were perfect. And the full body massage really looked after the whole body from head to toe and even your tummy! 😆Let along the nice hot tea after the massage 😇so yes a really great experience and definitely recommend!

The whole place was smelling really good and soothing relaxing music was playing in the background, that itself relax us a lot. The massage was awesome and the therapist Ivy did a great job. She was making sure that I am comfortable at every point and the massage and cupping she gave was excellent. An affordable, clean and professional place. Definitely will recommend this place to others and gonna come back soon.

When I entered, a soothing music was being played. Therapist was very humble and did a great job. Only thing that didn't impress me was, the receptionist wasn't very interested in explaining other plans and packages. I was told to check Facebook rather than explaining their plans which make customers come back.

The massage experience was good. I like the soaking of my feet in a warm water before doing the massage. The signature hilot version is fine, very limited strokes, not excellent. I prefer the use of thumb in doing the strokes rather than knuckles. Overall experience was good.

My massage therapist was Michele. I got a great deal in Groupon and it was totally worthy it. The environment and the relaxing massage were both very nice. The only thing I didn't like was listening to people talking on the "room" beside mine, since the rooms are only separated by curtains.

My experience was pretty average, firstly I was asked to put my feet in a tub with hot water to soak, you'd think they would leave them soaking for at least a minute but my therapist took them out within 5 seconds, My therapist did some nice work on my arms hands and feet but overall felt like she was not invested in giving a quality massage, she came across as a bit rude and aloof. At the end I was completely drenched in oil and she handed me a small hand towel to wipe the excess off myself, you'd think a massage worth over $100 they would get some hot towels and help you.

Nice, Tidy, Clean, Pleasant atmosphere. They really do need to get their parking sorted out though. Came out after my session, in time to catch W.D.Price about to tow my car from the carpark that, as far as the message i'd received from Bamboo Spa, was their parking for customers, but isn't actually. It all became very pedantic really, but i just showed the txt from bamboo spa and the tow firm had no legal foot to stand on. Apparently, its 2 carparks, 1 in front of the other, directly under the determining arrow and not side by side as i'd thought.
