First time here myself, but it's one of my wife's favourites and for good reason. Very relaxing through and through, from the vibe to service. Liked that up front they got quite detailed in terms of what you're looking for, what sore spots you might have, etc. Whilst we just got a basic 1hr couples massage this time, they do offer far more of a complete experience like foot washing/massaging, relaxing spa baths, etc. They have showers available too to wash off any massage oil if you so wish. Be sure to get your parking garage discount!

Such a stunning space, best massage I've had in a long time !!! Masseuse knew where the knots were in my shoulders and focused more on them which was absolutely amazing !!! I will be returning for another massage

Went for a full body massage and facial. Facial was great, really thorough and felt like good value for money. Skin felt really soft and lovely afterwards. Massage was less than average. I would not recommend it at all. I felt like the person had no idea what they were doing, lack of technique and consistency. Felt like a vigorous rub down overall. Really disappointed with massage as it’s not exactly cheap! Sounds like it depends on who you get as there are very mixed reviews, buyer beware!!

I was given a birthday gift voucher by our sweet daughters to try out East Day Spa, the 60mins facial, head, shoulder & hand massage was so, so relaxing. The therapist massage skill was TOP & the spa reception area oozed with calmness. However, burning some essential oils in a diffuser will add to perfection!!

My partner and I went here for the couples massage - ‘staying in touch’ last Sunday At the start we filled out a form where you can request the pressure of your massage and if there’s points where you’d specifically like to be massaged I was massaged “full body” and the lady was really good in applying the medium pressure I requested It was 60min for $270 and I really enjoyed it! - unfortunately accidentally I was charged $280 which we didn’t notice until we got home. My partner didn’t mind paying the extra $10 though as he really enjoyed the massage

This is the best spa in Auckland. All treatments are to a high standard and it is so easy to relax, as there is no aimless chat or hard sell on products. We had reflexology and an amazing Emma Lewisham facial

The only spa I would return to for a good massage. I have had disappointing experiences thus far including Forme Spa and Mai Day Spa. The difference with East Day Spa was the professionalism and warmth. I felt really taken care of here, whereas in other places, I felt like an inconvenience to staff. The Spa itself is just beautiful and includes a gorgeous labyrinth of therapy rooms. Looking forward to returning in the near future! Many thanks :)

Good massage. Felt relaxed and was great. However, not a 5 star as you don't actually get the full time you pay for. Been here on many occassions however, a friend advised to take note of time and this time I did. Took my wife out for our anniverdary for a 1 hour couples massage. Arrived 15 minutes prior to booking as advised by the lady on the phone when making the booking. Was taken in the room 5 mins after the booking time. Dressed down etc. And the massage started approx 10 minutes after the actual time. It ended on time. Therefore a 50 minute massage rather than the full 60. Also - the last 10 minutes or so I would say that the lady who I had started getting a little lazy and in fact stopped massaging for a couple of minutes to wash her hands? I assume as I heard the tap running.

The staff here are so welcoming and wonderful and they provide exceptional services every time. A quiet relaxed little spot that’s big on ambience, perfect to runaway to from everything. I always enjoy coming here.

Came here for a nice massage from our hotel and was greeted by courteous and friendly staff and relaxing smells. The staff missed my welcome drink, but quickly gave me a water when I requested one. Had the aromatherapy massage for 60 mins and while it was great, it came with a steep price of $135. Would have been better if the rooms had showers so we can wash off the oils before dressing. Overall, it is a good place for a little pampering.

This is an luxurious day spa with a lovely exotic feel. The staff here are simply delightful and really know how to pamper you. They spend time finding out what you really need and absolutely deliver. I had a massage and a facial and came out feeling fantastic and wondering why I don’t do this more often. It’s so good for your soul.

I got the east retreat I was left speachless the massage is amazing I was left feeling so amazing was the first time and it was worth going. Got a nice lunch in between it all and you feel so at peace. It is pricey but it's the worth it type of pricey 😊

Fantastic experience!!! Great service from beginning to end! Great massage, got the Mums the word package, felt very relaxed after. Will definitely be back. If you’re looking into getting a Codage facial done - definitely get one done!!!! Just had a 30 minute one and my therapist was very calming - and it was my first time using Codage products. Definitely recommend the ladies here at east day spa 😊

East Day Spa is heaven on earth! From the moment you set foot inside you start to relax. The place is very peaceful and zen. The staff are lovely, courteous and professional. They communicate with you before you go for your treatment which I think adds to the professionalism. The rooms are quite and free from any outside noises so you can truly switch off. The massage tables are wide and long which is great if you are taller or broader. I highly recommend East Day Spa A+++

I will certainly recommend a full treatment to all my nursing and caregiver friends who gave me this final present on my retirement after a long 37year in a nursing/caregiver situation.

I am a regular at East Day Spa. It is always a treat coming to the spa. The premises are clean. warm and inviting and the staff are always lovely. I recently booked a foot soak and pedicure with Jerlyn and she is fantastic. I came out of the session feeling and looking like a million bucks!

Amazing!! I haven’t been here for a long while but my last experience was back in 2009 and I loved it! 10 years later, my opinion still remains the same, this time I went for the couples massage - all the staff were fantastic and accommodating. The massage went for around an hour and it was really relaxing. I left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Would come back again. Thanks for the great experience!

I've been going to East Day Spa on special occasions and it has never disappointed me at all. Best experience and the ambiance makes you feel like your royalty. The rooms are also very accommodating and relaxing. I thought that I was actually royalty when they started serving me tea. Going for an hour massage doesn't even feel like an hour - time just flies and it's literally like being in heaven.

If you need relaxation then this would be your go to. I was so tired walking around the city all day. So having a spa and massage was the best decision I made all day. The staff was friendly and I felt welcomed. There was a number of massages I went full body and it was so satisfying. My body was thanking me for coming here. The massage went longer than 1 hour. I would recommend booking first and not walk in. Just because I found websites that have discounts in them. Any ways while in Auckland for a break this is a place make you feel good. In a calm and peaceful environment you can relax. Also you're in a private room.😂👍

Im 35weeks pregnany and just had an amazing pregnancy massage and facial package. The therapist was totally careful and gentle with me but still delievered on full body relaxation. The place is soo immaculate but cozy and tranquil. The service and same day booking just made my experience that much better. Will definitely be going again

Went there for a facial with friends and had a burning/stinging reaction to their exfoliation ( I had already warned them that I had sensitive skin). Disclaimer: the friends that went with me have normal and combination ( oily-normal) skin. They loved it and had an amazing experience. I e-mailed them a few days later as my skin got patchy and redder than before. The following review is for those with sensitive skin. They were kind and followed up with an email asking me to go back for treatment to fix this and possibly assess my skin. The skin assessment was literally just the therapist telling me my skin was sensitive and dry ( I already told her it felt really dry and tight - also I wrote a bunch of things on the forms but she asked me questions/ I'd have to repeat things that were already written on the form). She also pushed a few products on me quit aggressively. The stuff they put on made my skin even worse, it stings a lot when I put moisturiser on. The only thing that seemed to be alright was the moisturising oil. My skin went from alright to bad and now it really hurts. Really wanted to like this place but I'm probably never going back.

I had a pregnancy massage that my husband bought me as a birthday gift. I was so excited about it because not only was I a bit sore and achey from being heavily pregnant but I’d been to East Day Spa a number of times before and always had wonderful experiences, so naturally I was looking forward to being pampered and having some lovely ‘me’ time before my baby arrived. Unfortunately this was not to be as I spent far too long walking along the roadworks maze on Albert Street (the main entrance) only to be told by a very sympathetic road worker that it was closed off. So I called the spa reception who explained that I needed to come up to the Skycity Grand entrance. This required me (at 38 weeks pregnant) to walk up a big flight of stairs and along Federal street when I’d already been on my feet for ages trying to find the entrance. I’d been in touch the day before my appt too, so would have assumed the main entrance being closed off would be an obvious thing to tell people (especially pregnant ones). I got to the spa quite out of breath and was directed to the waiting area without being offered any water which I found really surprising because normally you’re made to feel taken care of as soon as you walk in but I really got a sense that the reception staff couldn’t care less. ***I’m giving this review 3 stars because the massage was great and the therapist was lovely. This has brought my overall experience up from 1 Star to 3. At the end of my massage I wasn’t offered water once again and was shuffled back out to reception where I paid up and left feeling like it was completely transactional and I could have got the same massage (without the spa experience which was non-existant in this case anyway) from a place in the mall for half the price. I then bought myself a bottle of water on the walk back to my car feeling quite parched and deflated.

Lovely atmosphere. Had couples package with wonderful bath, but the massage was average. Technique was limited and focused on repetitively moving up and down both sides of the spine. When it came to doing the arms, they left out the hands and when they did feet, they did one toe on one foot (i.e. forgot the other 9!).

Really nice place. Good customer service over the phone and in person. Very relaxing atmosphere when you walk in - you forget you're on Construction St (aka Albert St). The ladies here who perform the waxing and threading... Magic... If you're looking for a Brazilian/Hollywood, ask for Suriani. Painless and left me looking damn-near airbrushed. You want threading? Go here. Ankita gave my eyebrows the perfect clean-up and shaping and actually listened when I requested not to have them thinned (as a lot of places misunderstand and thin your eyebrows the f out when you just wanted them tidied.) No post-purchase regret here! Decent pricing for quality of service received. Fully recommend!

Took my granddaughters for treatments Notmy normal spa but they wanted to go be ause of rating. Nothing wrong with treatment but very much like a supermarket No relaxing room to sit after treatments and staff all over the place. I am elderly and they immediately presumed I was not having treatment just girls although I had booked and was paying the bill Not a good start. I had ordered a spa lunch And French champagne which was served warm and we were sent upstairs through foyer to dining room. I wont be going back and definitely not a five star experience

One of things I enjoyed about my time in Auckland was the growing Asian infusion and influence. This place was underneath Sky City in the CBD. My favorite massage was the Veda - full body deep tissue massage. I remember one of the Asian girls doing the massage would get up on the table for the stretches. Best relaxation experience ever.
