Valley Views Glamping is amazing, we really enjoyed our stay, outside baths are so relaxing even on the colder days. Wonderful, relaxing place. We will be back. I was worried about the gravel road but it was fine. Patrick and Amber are great host, very welcoming.

We spend a couple of days at Valley Views Glamping and loved every minute of it. The domes are amazing with comfortable beds, a wood fire, stunning views, just fantastic. We had an outside bath in the forest every day with amazing views, so special. Amber and Patrick are wonderful hosts. We will definitely visit again. Thank you so much for the special time we had.

Had a fantastic night away, what a wonderful location with accommodating hosts that go above and beyond. The optional 3 course meal was absolutely amazing, as were the farm eggs in the morning, couldnt have asked for a more relaxing night away. We will be back!

Very beautiful place! The hosts, Patrick and Amber, were very nice and friendly. They made it feel so homely and cozy. The bed and pillows were most comfortable and the duvet was very warm! Perfect for the cold night along with the fireplace. True glamping indeed. I can't describe how beautiful the morning and night was. It was just perfect!

Such an incredible experience!!! You genuinely couldn’t ask for better hosts, they truly love what they do and care deeply about their guests having an amazing experience! We went on a girls weekend away, took food for a platter, and some wine. Was awesome to have access to platter boards, wine glasses, and everything else we needed to create the perfect evening, being able to take these to our dome meant we could have fun enjoying as much time in there as possible. Patrick and Amber encourage you to just take every moment in. The outdoor baths were a treat, as was the amazing star filled sky at night. Just cannot say enough about this place… can’t wait to go back!

The setting is picturesque. Beautiful, peaceful and calm. Great facilities…and those pods, so cool. Amber and Patrick were the perfect hosts. Nothing was a bother. I am definitely going back. This is the place to find your peace.

Thoroughly recommend this place, we only had one night, but we loved every minute. The service was friendly, food can be provided and it was lovely and home made. A real treat. We had outdoor bath, which topped it off, bed was cosy as. Really clean and owners were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for us pro freedom people. Thankyou

Incredible!! You really do get lost for words at this stunning site. Watching the sunset while we each soak in our own baths was a peaceful, relaxing treat. Our dome was warm and very comfortable with every detail thought out. The Hosts were so caring and welcoming. I will be recommending this experience to everyone I know. What a gem!! Slightly hesitant to write a glowing review so I can keep this piece of paradise to myself!! But our stay was sensational, what a great concept, thinking outside the box, what luxury, what serenity, utter bliss, relaxing, in tune with nature. Attention to detail, the warmth, the sensational service by family members. Really nothing to fault, except we should have stayed another night. I was with my 12 year old son, he didn't want to leave and a night of no technology! Next time with my partner, there will definitely be a next time if they have availability!!!! Seriously put this on 'your to do it' list, it's magical. Thank you all for a memorable experience.

Just had a stay at Valley Views after a high recommendation from daughter who had previously stayed there. Following a warm welcome from Patrick we were soon settled into our well appointed dome. Unfortunately the weather was not the best and the dome was a bit chilly but plenty of rugs to counter the cold. We had dinner arranged to be provided - Amber cooked up a delicious meal of lamb shanks. An enjoyable evening followed socialising with fellow guests, great company😄😄 A great nights sleep followed in the spacious comfortable bed. Breakfast the next morning was all laid out by Patrick who couldn’t do enough for us. A day exploring the Waitaki valley followed before returning to the domes for a second night. Limited technology- light by candles / head torches, bit of a walk to the bathroom - but this added to the appeal of the stay. Overall a great play for a relaxing stay away from the pressures of life.

I have just returned home after spending 4 nights at this amazing place. I fell in love with the views from an awesome Dome going to sleep watching the moonlight and watching the sun come up on the morning. Every day was a gift. Amber and Patrick are amazing hosts I cannot speak highly enough of the service nothing was too much trouble I would recommend anyone who is looking for a peaceful beautiful place you need to check Valley View Glamping. Awesome Getaway! We had such an amazing night's stay at Valley Views. It was great to explore the Waitaki Valley and be somewhere off-the-beaten-track. Amber and Patrick are warm, down-to-earth hosts who took care of everything and also gave us space to catch up with our friends. The whole place is incredibly well thought-out. Luscious beds especially a highlight. Thank you, will definitely recommend!

This place is pure bliss! You will be warmly welcomed by Amber and Patrick and enveloped into deep relaxation. There is so much thought that has gone into creating a divine experience, right down to breathable sheets and cosy blankets. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Brilliant place to stay. Great home cooked dinner and you can purchase wine and beer. Fantastic views both day and night. The Glamping tents are perfect, clean and tidy the owners Patrick and Amber are wonderful hosts and they have thought of every little detail.

Was amazing, the views were fantastic and we were lucky to have fantastic weather so nice an warm in the dome at night. Lovely watching the sun rise. We went would group but would be very romantic just as a couple, wish we had stayed 2 nights. We also opted for the meal and it was lovely excellent value for money.

We had such a great stay at the Valley View Glamping. Very calm, beautiful landscape, nice Cabin and well equipped kitchen. We loved the outdoor bathtubs with an amazing view in the mountains! We had such a great time at Valley Views Glamping. I have always wanted to stay in a pod and so glad I got to stay at this one. The pods were so nice and clean with amazing views over the valley. The owners were so nice and friendly and took time to chat to everyone while we were enjoying the delicious 3 course meal they made for us. After dinner we chilled out in the outdoor baths for the rest of the evening and watched the sunset. It was such a great experience staying here. Highly recommend stay here :)

Our Son bought us a voucher for Xmas to stay here. Such an awesome place to get away & relax. Beautiful views, amazing comfortable facilities & the baths are a real treat💜..& just a short trip to kurow if you need supplies, but in saying that there is already a lot available. A stunning place, we had a great time here. Patrick and Amber are great host. The mountain view, great setup of the tent, the lodge is fitted with modern kitchen and bathrooms. Can not recommend this place enough! Such unique accomodation with faultless facilities. Beautiful outdoor baths, warm beds, fairy lights, wonderful breakfast and an unbeatable view. Amber and Patrick were incredible hosts, giving us tips and suggestions for the rest of our holiday, easy communication for check in/out and in the lead up to our stay. Definitely stop off here if you have the chance to, we wish we stayed longer

Amber & Patrick were so great! Dinner (lamb shanks) outstanding after a hard day cycling. Highly recommend ! They even organized a 60th birthday cake! Wonderful place for a large group or couples! A must stay!

Amber and Patrick have created such a magical place to rest in Kurow! Everything from checking in to checking out was perfect. We chose to have dinner the night we arrived and were not disappointed, Amber makes such a delicious lamb shank!! My wife is gluten free and they were so accommodating for her, she was thrilled with all the food she could eat. The views are outstanding and we are so glad we picked this spot to spend our first night in NZ. Awesome.

Amazing experience. So good to stay in a sustainable accommodation, all places should be lile this. Cant recommend enough. they offer dinner and it was excellent. My wife and I stayed here for our one year wedding anniversary. We were blown away with how fantastic this place was. The owners really focus on putting the glamour into glamping. The view from the tent is stunning and the bed is possibly the most comfortable bed we have stayed in during our trip around the South Island. The outdoor baths are a lovely experience that was possibly the highlight of our evening. The dinner was good value for money and was made with top quality ingredients. I can’t recommend staying here enough. My wife and I will definitely be returning next summer.

Well what can I say....this place is just magical.being a huge fan of camping I thought this would just be a step up but I was wrong....it was more than I imagined. Amber and Patrick (hosts) are absolutely lovely and cater to all your needs they are super friendly and the perfect hosts. There is a spacious lodge on top of a hill which has everything from games to every thing you could possibly need to cook with. They even have hot water bottles and portable phone chargers. The lodge so was warm with the potbelly woodburner we even had to open the doors in the middle of winter as it was so hot! The showers and toilets are attached with shower gels and handwashes. Then down a few steps are the 2 geodomes (winter) inside is wooden floors a large bed a trunk with extra blankets battery powered led lamps two chairs and a foldout bed/futon and a little portable toilet behind a little stand. They are completely private once in the dome and the whole of the front is clear so you can see the amazing views. The little wood burner in the dome has more than enough heat to heat the dome and it wasnt even that cold onto of a hill in winter. So so cosy. We even went to the baths a short walk into the forest....they had very hot water and two baths side by side with corrugated walls for privacy as there are two stations for baths to view the night sky.this was the ultimate experience and probably my favourite part. Just take down your wine and enjoy seeing the milkyway in the dark star lit sky. I cannot rate this place high enough....you do not need to take anything as everything you could think of and more is provided. 100% HAVE to stay here. Thabk you for the best experience.
