S.I had been meaning to book in with Fern and Feather Retreat for a long time..as i had been recommended by a friend. I wasn't disappointed. The environment was tranquil and peaceful right from the start to finish. The surroundings are beautiful with the Tuis and Bell birds singing in the back ground. Massage was so relaxing! I highly recommend and will be back
B.Absolutely fantastic hot stone massage. She talked me through the whole process at the start so I knew what would happen and checked consent carefully. The most relaxing massage I've ever had. I'll be back for sure. Such a reasonable price for the experience.

D.This place is magic! I opened my car door to the sound of native birds singing.
I chose the outdoor bath and massage combo. After I changed in the lovely warm dressing room, and got the snuggly robe and jandals, I made my way to the bath that was poured ready for me. There were fairy lights, candles and fragrant batch salts. The bath was so warm and deep. I was surprised at how well it held it's heat. It was wonderful to sit back and relax in the native bush, watching the birds feeding so close by.
After my bath I went back to the lovely, warm and cozy massage table. Gretchen asked lots of questions to be sure the massage was specifically suited to my needs. The massage was bliss. The hot stones, fragrant essential oils and Gretchen's expertise made this the best massage I've ever had. I felt incredibly calm and relaxed afterwards. I thoroughly recommend Fern and Feather.

J.Beautiful paradise to relax in. My partner and I went in the evening while it was raining and was such a relaxing experience with candles, fairy lights and steam from the baths surrounding us...only thing I would suggest is a few nature sounds playing softly in the background. Totally recommend this place! Thanks Gretchen
B.Fern and Feather- a real treat. Thoroughly enjoyed the bath and massage combo. Even the snowy weather did not detract from (it instead perhaps added to) the pure warm luxury of the outdoor baths. Already feeling relaxed and happy the massage completed a wonderful time. Big thanks.

B.My daughter and her partner could not have given me a better birthday present!. For 1.5 hours I was masterfully massaged from my toes to the top of my head. The hot stones and oils quickly sent me off into the "total relaxation zone". I was most reluctant to emerge from my blissful state when Gretchen gently advised me that she had finished her treatment. All round it was a lovely experience - which I rate as a 12/10.
