I went to Bamboo spa for what I was hoping to be an amazing relaxing massage for my birthday. They did not disappoint! Justine, my masseuse gave me such an amazing massage! She knew exactly what muscle were tight without me having to tell her. Unlike other salons I've been to. They really know their stuff here. The place was clean, tidy and smelt great. It was a different experience to the salons that we traditionally have here in NZ but the quality of the massage was unmatched in my opinion. The only thing I would like to note is that the room could have been a bit warmer.

Always a great experience with every visit. Staff are polite and very welcoming. Therapists are really good with their soothing massage. Very great way to de-stress. Give them a try... it's money well spent to pamper yourself.

Amazing massage! I had a lovely therapist named Flora, she is very skilled, welcoming and asked if the pressure was okay at different points throughout the session. This is my second time here and I will definitely be back again. Price for quality ratio is unbeatable, highly recommend.

Was at the salon because my friend gifted me that for my birthday, it was the most just what I need. I had stiff muscles and notes around neck and shoulder blades, the therapist given to a hard pressure massage as I have requested. Feels so good and relaxed.

The massage was nice The ventosa cupping was a new experience, next day I felt really under the weather. It would have been very helpful to be advised to drink lots of water following this treatment but I wasn't reminded. Not sure I want to repeat this experience. I'll look for another place to get a massage

Very clean and professional, the staff would ask if the pressure was ok throughout the massage and once finished I was offered a ginger tea and a warm towel to wipe excess oil off. Only down side was eftpos machine was down but they have an acct u can deposit into.

The place is clean and the people are so nice and friendly. The massage was so relaxing. Will definitely come back for more.

Professional and friendly service. Excellent massage Exquisite ginger and honey tea to finish with. Definitely a great place to unwind and relax after a long week at work. The aches and pains have melted away and I feel great. Rebooked for 4 more 1 hour Filipino Massage. Thank you very much

Thank you Bamboo. I had a hilot massage from Bamboo with the purpose of relaxing my sore muscles by deep pressure and I got my massage from a kind lady named Grace I hope that I am saying her name right🧐 my experience was soundless and gonna go there again for the cupping techniques too.

Absolutely amazing! The price, the service, the ladies, and the after care. Sophie and the team were incredibly professional and friendly and took great care of us, when we strolled in and got lucky with a couples massage with no booking hehe. I highly recommend them. We got the traditional Filipino massage and the cupping, which we had never tried before, and they took every caution in explaining what to expect and what the benefits are. They were amazingly priced also. Thank you!

I cannot express how wonderful this place and their people are. I thoroughly recommend the Hilot Massage, my heavy, stiff and sore muscles feel cared for and rejuvenated and my mind finally quiets to a peaceful and grounded place. Every stage of the experience is done with care and respect, i love the aromas and music used, and I love having a moment to finish with a cup of tasty tea. 10/10. They always seem to have space when I need it most, and are very talented at their art of massage! My only wish is that other customers might lower their voices when in the space.

I have always come away from my spa treatment feeling relaxed and my shoulders feeling great. I have tight knotty shoulders and Grace, Sharon and Caren are all amazing at releasing these for me. I went to have a massage today together with my sister and a friend. We all had a great service. The only complain we have is they need a door or partition in their kitchen so their customers will not hear the staff's conversation when they are having their break. They were so loud that we can hear their conversation and laughs. The staff doesnt seem to care how loud they were talking knowing that their environment is an open plan.

I only ever go to Bamboo Spa for my massages now lovely ladies who are excellent at massage. Flora did my massage today and I paid the extra for firm massage and it was worth every penny. Highly recommended for a lovely relaxing massage 😍😍

I cannot recommend the Hilot massage at Bamboo Lower Hutt highly enough. Grace was my therapist. I had asked for cupping and also the hard pressure which is $10 extra with the $10 going directly to the therapist. She had such powerful hands. I have only experienced a similar strength like Grace's in China and India. Incredible therapist.

My masseuse was Genalyn. She was really good at ensuring pressure was suitable and was considerate of my injuries. Price and quality are so good. I'll definitely be back!

Booked a couples massage and it was lovely. The little touches like the fragrant foot soak before the full body massage were really delightful. Incredibly good value for money, we will be coming again for sure!
