S.I have been a ProActive Massage client for about 4 years now. I first started seeing Katrina when pain returned after a back injury and operation several years prior. She is so knowledgeable and her massage helped to settle my anxiety around pain and I noticed an improvement after several appts. The thing I really like about Katrina is she is happy to see you anytime but by no means wants to rebook you. She understands her role as a health care professional is to help you rather than take your money! Over the last four years I have seen her for my back and leg pain, shoulder and neck pain and most recently jaw pain after night time teeth grinding. She is open, honest and reassuring and I really enjoy my sessions with her! Highly recommend.
R.Katrina is a wealth of knowledge. The educational aspect to the session added so much value as well and has greatly helped my understanding of pain. I’ll be back, think she’s amazing.
m.I cannot recommend this therapist highly enough - over the past 18 months I have spent a fortune on chiropractors and physio, I have needed no further treatments since my session with Katrina and my back has felt the best it's been for over a year :)

J.I have been receiving treatment from Katrina at ProActive Massage for the last month and she has helped me so much with my back pain not only just massaging the areas I have pain but assessing me and getting to why it is occurring in the first place. She has so much knowledge and understanding about the human body and the best hands on treatment I have ever had (and I have had a lot of massage over the years). Even though I am now not in pain and do not necessarily need massages as regularly I will be returning every few weeks.
S.Wow, the best treatment ever. I have had ongoing pain for the last year, with countless visits to Dr's/Physio's/Chiro's in the Wairarapa and after a few treatments with Katrina I am now able to move better than I have in years. This is so much more than just a massage, she looks at why things are happening and taught me how to help it long term with basic and easy exercises and stretches along with the amazing hands on treatment she give and great advice. For any future aches and pains Proactive Massage is the place I will go to first.
