You are probably reading this review after doing some google search to find a good Spa in Queenstown. Stop now. You found it. I have had over 200+ spa treatments and this has been the best one. Bar none. I came out of body sanctum so relaxed and refreshed that I literally couldn’t do anything for the rest of the day except lie in the sun. From the moment I walked in, the ambience and environment had me starting to unwind. They were professional and exceptional. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Me and my girlfriend had 1-hour relaxation massage. We have been to few different massage shops around NZ, and we can tell this was the best massage we had in New Zealand so far. Worth the money. Also, I made a mistake during booking, but they just managed to fix the issue, which I really appreciate.

Did a walk-in with two of my friends and had a deep tissue massage with Nate, it was so relaxing and one of the best massages I’ve ever had! He was super professional and made sure I was comfortable throughout the booking. I Can’t recommend this place enough if your after a bit of pampering this is the place!

Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. My husband and I booked a couples massage. From start to finish the service was exceptional, and tailored to our needs. I was really impressed by the quality of all the products used, right down to the dressing gowns and the snacks that were provided. Our therapists were not only very skilled, but also incredibly kind. We are already planning our next trip back!

I didn’t know how much tension I was holding in my shoulders until Nate worked it out for me this morning! At 21 weeks pregnant, the pregnancy massage was so incredibly relaxing and helped so much with the aches I’ve been having in my lower back. Nate was so respectful and attentive, and created a great atmosphere. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Queenstown. We’ll worth the visit!

Visited yesterday and honestly I haven't been that relaxed in years! My partner had his first ever massage and is now converted. He was nervous but the staff were welcoming and very knowledgeable and he really enjoyed it. He wants to go again. I also had a fabulous massage followed by the manuka honey facial. Fantastic. I can highly recommend!! Will be visiting again.

Spectacular massage, but… Best massage, well worth it. Unfortunately there was some confusion with the booking, we booked a 45min deep tissue with a 15min add on foot massage totalling a full 60mins. Staff member must have heard 60mins plus the add on, so things got a bit awkward once the massage was done and we were asked to pay more than we anticipated. She left us feeling a bit stink after such a great experience. Heyho, wouldn’t hold that against them, just double check your timing. After thought, would have also been nice to have some water offered for after.

The team here are always attentive and knowledgeable, and they keep really thorough notes! You won't have to try to remember what you had last time, or what your skin type is, etc. Every detail feels accounted for so I have a lot of trust in them to make the right recommendations and factor in my personal situation. The oxygenating peel is the best thing ever. It definitely has a zing while it works its magic but truuuust me it is WORTH IT.

Overall pretty good experience, however a huge let down because no one was wearing a mask?? As a beauty therapist myself working at a top day spa the requirements for mask wearing is compulsory so I'm not sure how they have managed to get away with no wearing one…

Body Sanctum is a luxurious spa tucked away within the hustle and bustle of Queenstown. This has been my third or fourth visit to the spa and I cannot recommend it enough. Warm and inviting, super friendly team and the most incredible treatments. This visit I treated myself to the 90-minute Luxury Escape package and it was pure bliss. Abbie my therapist was superb and made me feel at complete ease the moment I stepped into the treatment room. Thank you Body Sanctum team. I will be back, and will continue to recommend to all :-)

The service was great from start to finish - both Lorene & Rahel were professional and knew what they were doing and listened to our requirements. Together we highly recommend Body Sanctum- Lorene & Rachel to anyone wanting a special, relaxing treatment to unwind from the daily grind. The staff at Body Sanctum are a true asset to the business - being Lorene, Rahel, Una, Michelle, Abbie...not to forget Helena who has an infectious smile and always greets you with a warm and open welcome..& has amazing people skills! Lorene makes my wife feel amazing with each treatment she has provided during the last year or so. Samara's offer of a coffee last week whilst my wife was having a treatment- meant so much to her. THE best massage I have had in a long time! I opted for the Pure Fiji Island Retreat body treatment and it was just devine. Michelle was such a lovely lady, checked part-way through to see if the pressure was enough but it was perfect just the way it was! The reception area was warm and welcoming. Beautiful, relaxing day spa and the products smell and feel incredible!! Abby was AMAZING, her technique was Amazing! I could tell she was getting deep into the knots but would gently sweep with her other hand so it felt so unbelievably relaxing, she was clearly putting so much care and attention into the massage, working the problem areas while ensuring she also had a gentle touch to distract from working those areas, that is a an amazing talent and passion to care deeply how the customer feels.

This was amazing! We made a trip to Queenstown for our anniversary, so we decided to get a couples massage. They asked us what we were after before we started and checked in with us throughout. We had Rahel and Danni I believe. My husband had a relaxation massage and I had a deep tissue. The space is very calming and relaxing and gets you in the right head space before you even head in for your massage. This was an amazing part of our trip and if we were locals, we would definitely make Body Sanctum our regular.

We had a 90 minute massage and it could possibly be the best massage I’ve ever had. It was so relaxing and I was asked multiple times if the pressure was ok. We did have some people talking loudly outside our room for a few minutes and having the room a little darker would have made the experience even more incredible. But, they’re such small details that didn’t take away too much from the experience! High recommend!

A nice massage after a long of physical activity around town. A little on the pricey side, but not unexpected for downtown in a tourism spot. A nice office with soothing music, water and tea. Good vibes before a massage. I had a 60 minute relaxation massage that was very good, not great. Michelle spent the vast majority of the time on my back after I had mentioned arms legs and chest all needing thorough time. I added on foot and scalp time and both were good, different from other massages I have had but did the job. I also did a honey facial and that was excellent. Not sure I felt a great difference since but it was many layers of exfoliation and honey that felt great at the time. The table, oil, sheets, and towels were on all great comfortable and clean (not a given at some spa's).

Myself and a friend booked special occasion makeup on New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately it was a bit of a disaster they didn’t have either of our skin colours and the artist seemed quite under stocked with no mascara at all and nude lipsticks. 1.5hrs was how long my face took trying to correct but we never achieved it. The session is 45mins long per person. Both of us who are different skin tones walked out incredibly dark and mismatched. To be fair the make up artist did try her hardest to correct it but given the extended time we had to get going. We both washed our makeup off when we returned home and luckily this happened as I was soon engaged later that night and would have been embarrassed if any photos were taken. Our friends actually laughed at our faces when they saw us. For $100 each it was quite pricy. Feeling quite ripped off for the poor quality and the stress of it all. Otherwise the place itself is beautiful and likely is a good experience for other treatments. Would recommend checking to see before hand if they are stocked with all skin colours tan/brown skin. And more variety of eye shadows/lip colours I expected better for price. Makeup application itself was extremely dewy and thick. Sorry for review :( .... however after this review an apology and full refund was given thank you for this we appreciate you coming back to us.

I dont have words to describe my experience as others have written and mine would be no different. From the initial appointment scheduling till the end exceptional service. Sarah was super helpful in fitting me in their tight schedule. The only place in town I've found who offers such a variety of massage, body and spa packages which will leave you renewed. My husband and I decided to get a massage for our honeymoon in Queenstown. We decided on Body Sanctum because of the location to the city center and the already raging high reviews. We were treated with a couples massage, so we were able to be in the same room together. Which was comforting. Our therapists asked us right away if there were any specific areas we’d like them to focus on. And the massage was absolutely amazing. I’m extremely ticklish and my massage therapist was able to tell right away and tone it down for me in the areas that were making me jumpy, and heavier pressure in my lower back where I needed it most. I appreciated the knowledge he had while reading my body language without me having to explain. After our massages, we both agreed we felt the most loose we’ve ever felt, and our whole body felt rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great massage in the Queenstown area.

Everything about the experience was 5 star. The massage bed felt like it was memory foam and it was even heated!!! The sheet and blanket layed over me was warm and relaxing. This place is fantastic. I have been here many times for massages. I had one incident were I had an issue with my back and did not feel like the therapist spent enough time on it. However I brought it to the attention of the management and they could not have been more profesional dealing with it. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend this place. The staff are very friendly and there is a relaxing atmosphere. Other than the one not so good experience that j had the the many other times have been could not have been better! I do not think anywhere in Queenstown comes close to the standards of this place. If you are in town and like myself have over done the activities this place will get you back on track for sure.

Customer care and ambience was good. The masseuse was also very nice with great stories from Fiji :) But the one thing that really mattered, the massage, was quite underwhelming. I understand the need for decency, but not when it means only 20% of my quads and hamstrings are covered during the massage. For $90, I didn't feel it was value for my money.

I booked in for the "Luxury Escape" (Foot Revival, Massage & Facial) online and it was very atraight firward. I had a confirmation email within minutes of making the booking. Upon arrival I was greeted warmly and the waiting area was very relaxing and enjoyable. My massage therapist was Lorene and she was very friendly and welcoming. The actual massage, foot treatment and facial was amazing! Lorene was wonderful through the whole time. Checking intermittently to make sure the pressure was enjoyable and what I was after. Lorene was very respectful and did a wonderful job.

My partner and I came here late one Thursday night but the team worked hard to fit us in, dispite the time of day, and my partner was able to get a fantastic Manuka Honey facial. I booked the next day for a relaxation massage, which was utterly brilliant. We have been to a lot of massage and treatment centres all over the world but few have been as good as this little gem in the middle of beautiful Queenstown! I highly recommend it. From the get-go, the vibe is calming, warm and welcoming, and I feel like I could leave all my worries outside. The space is thoughtfully decorated, and it's hard to believe it's in the middle of town. I had an amazing therapist in Leah, who was such a chill presence, and very respectful of boundaries. Everything was so relaxing and smelt amazing. The manuka honey facial was devine, and I loved Leah's advice for skin care afterward. I can't wait to go back!
