Wonderful experience. Clean and relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff. Had the opportunity to float, I had my own room in a shallow pool, with shower attached. Relaxing and weightless feeling, and slowly waking up to the gentle music. Did the sauna too, loved the infrared sauna. Little things like water and ability to connect your device to the speaker while in there is really sweet.

Great way to clear your head and get some full body relaxation. We did the sauna and float pool. For two people the float pool can seem tight but for others may be perfect. Going head to foot gives more room. The amber colored light above the pool on one side shines in your eyes so that could use a lower cover. It would also be really awesome if you could have blue light only in the float pool. As it was on the day of our visit it was an all or nothing experience with the lights. The water in the pool was the most amazing temperature. It literally feels like you're floating in space... use the head floaty if you're feeling tense to try to relax. Lastly the tea was very yummy at the conclusion, but you need proper loose leaf tea strainers. Four stars because of the lighting and strainer issues. The rest of the experience was 5 stars. We 100% will be back.

My partner and I purchased the Infrared Sauna at City Cave Queenstown a week after it first opened. We were pleased with the customer service experience as we walked in as well as the landscape of the building and the vibrant atmosphere of the place and location. We were thankful to have received the knowledge about how the Sauna and service worked as it was our first time receiving this sort of treatment. From an athletic perspective, recovery is important to us and we were pleased to hear about the benefits of it. Thanks to the team for welcoming us and making the experience a great first impression. Booked in already for future sessions.

Staff was so so lovely, kind and welcoming. Did the couples float and enjoyed it heaps. My partners first time and he liked the experience. The environment was well set up and beautiful. Only thing is that about 30 min into our float both of us got so hot we had to jump out and take cold showers. Room temperature was great but think it might have been slightly too hot. Otherwise loved the experience and float, will be back. Thank you!

As a regular floater at City Caves in Australia, I was super stoked to discover a City Cave in Queenstown. There’s a sense of relaxation from the moment you arrive and the relaxing only continues with their massages, sauna & float. Epic spot and feel so lucky that we have a business innovative enough to bring infrared saunas to town. Staff are lovely and friendly. Infrared sauna has had heaps of benefits for me so far - huge mood booster - especially in Winter. Highly recommend it to anyone thinking about it. Have recommended it to clients who love it too.

A very unique and relaxing experience. The staff are lovely, approachable and helpful. I definitely felt more comfortable being in a room with a pool as opposed to the idea of being in a pod. A+++

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, decor and vibe is really nice and I really enjoyed my first experience of floating and infared sauna! The massage was also lovely, I would definitely go back! The only downfall is that no slippers or sliders are provided with your robe, which means you are walking around barefoot in between sessions, which includes going to the communal bathroom. I only had trainers with me so it was an inconvenience to keep putting them back on, so next time I know to bring my own sliders. But I think these should be provided for hygiene reasons!

Myself and my partner came down to City Caves today and we left feeling amazing. We did the couples Sauna and Float package which we didn’t want to end. From start to finish the whole experience was incredible matched with beautiful decor and lovely staff to greet you when you arrive. It was just a perfect way to spend a Sunday! If your in Queenstown you definitely want to add this into your trip. Can’t wait to go back already.!

I just completed the sauna and float package with my partner and absolutley love it. Neither of us had been in an infra red sauna or floated beforehand but would highly recommend both now. I had a few knots in my back before heading into the sauna which disappeared and the float was the most relaxing things I have ever done. There was plenty of room in both the sauna and float so the couples package is great value! Thanks City Cave, we will see you again soon!!

My husband and myself came in on Sunday and had such a great time! We really enjoyed the infrared sauna and float; previously we have been in float pools that have made us a little uncomfortable and claustrophobic but this was NOT the case with these float pools, we were able to float together which was magic!! we will 100% be back!
