Booked 2 massages last minute and were lucky to get 2x 30min sessions. I had the pregnancy massage and it was so wonderful. So relaxing and she really targeted my problem areas (I forgot to get her name) . My husband had the therapeutic massage with Michelle and he feels like a new man. She managed to get a lot of his knots out. Would definitely recommend to anybody. It's so soothing and the therapists make you so comfortable.

Staff are beautiful and friendly, mud packs and the massages are amazing, the heated pools are to die for. Gym and hydro pool are beautiful. All in all this is an amazing place and u will feel revived.

Weeks of stress and decided to stay in Rotorua for a couple of nights and have a massage. This centre isn't flowers and diffusers. It's primary purpose is rehabilitation, so it looks like a hospital and the rooms feel sterile. But they had availability so we opted for a therapeutic massage. It was absolutely amazing. I get really self conscious because I'm over weight, but the woman was incredibly warm and professional. I was very relaxed and would absolutely go again. The spa pool was just too hospital esk for me, so I didn't use that.

After a very slow recovery with much pain my shoulder seemed better after a week of regular visits to QE. This is the story of many regular locals that testify ,wiling to tell their story. To me it was a God sent miracle and I am thankful daily to be able to keep going while it’s affordable.

Great place, appears old and tired, but staff are amazing and plans are in pipeline to build a new centre. Very relaxing Rachel pool, nice mud bath and excellent therapeutic massage.

I started getting arthritis in my early 30’s and now have rheumatoid arthritis. In 2011, I experienced one of the worst arthritic episodes to date. My Rheumatologist booked me into QE and 3-4 months later when a place finally became available, I was beside myself with pain and depression. My 3 week stay at the QE HEALTH SPA included the best treatments and education I could ever have hoped for; Massage, hot wax, hot mud packs, hot pool, physical therapy, gym, pool exercise, Occupational Therapy, counselling, relaxation therapy; all in all a 101% comprehensive targeted holistic approach for remedying and treating arthritis. I loved soaking in the baths here. They have a range of health and wellness treatments on offer and If you become a member they give great discounts on the treatments on offer.

Great experiences to be had here. Unique geothermal massages, perceptive and pre-emptive staff and a classy 1920's bathhouse feel makes this my go-to for relaxing while embracing the local culture. Worth every cent.

Relaxing, but not quite what I was expecting. The facilities are quite dated and it's clearly targeted at locals rather than people visiting town. You could most likely get the same (or better) experience at your hotel in Rotorua, as many have similar or identical pools on site, so if you're after a more attractive environment, the slightly more tourist focused locations - Polynesian Spa and Blue Water Baths - will be a better bet.

Always enjoy time here when visiting Rotorua. Rachel pools offers healing after travels. Other services like health products to buy, appointments for massage and other body work are a delight. Megan is a massage therapist I book with to take care of my needs. With a gym on site makes everything accessible under one roof. Excellent place to try.

We had an amazing hour long couple's "AIX massage" last week with Debbie and Ann. Just incredible. So wonderfully relaxing and brilliant for helping with the temporary relief from chronic pain. Can't wait to go back again (from Auckland) and will definitely request DEBBIE . Thank you once again to an hour long escape to heaven ♡♡♡

this was a health spa where patients from hospitals were brought for various massages. the spa is relatively old but the massages are good. i took the aix massage wherein i had ro lie down while hot mineral water was flowing over me and the masseuse massaged my back for 30mins. i felt that 30mins was decent enough for an aix massage. all in all i will defintely go back for a different massage

QE Health is a long established Rotorua wellness institution. Situated near to the lake front foreshore and Fenton Street, QE Health will, unfortunately, shortly close its doors. QE Health will be reborn in a new location within Rotorua at a time which has not been disclosed, as yet.

Well equipped gymnasium and although the hotpools are very old are serviceable with changing rooms and showers. Once the plans and agreements are settled with local council and Ngati Whakaue a brand new complex will be built to replace this 75yr old premises.

I went to QE health a few years ago now. Left just as covid came. It was the most amazing well-being place ever. I learnt so much by being there and the staff where so lovely and understanding of my health, they are a wealth of information on how to heal yourself and handle pain. Always an incredible experience. The Aix massage is my ultimate favourite. Forget the Polynesian Spa. This is the place to come to in Rotorua for an amazing, thorough, targeted massage. Other treatments are offered as well. Everyone here is kind, helpful, courteous, friendly and professional.
