A surprise celebration and pamper day for my friends 50th birthday, with a bunch of amazing ladies. What an absolutely fabulous place. Delicious food, beautiful outlook and great company. Excellent communication with the owner. A beautiful day, highly recommend David and the team at White Orchid Retreat.

Beautiful venue and delicious food! The treatments were so relaxing and the therapist very friendly and professional. The weather didn't permit to use the outside pool area but will be back with friends soon.

The most amazing experience having just been on a retreat at White Orchid Retreats. I didn't want to go home! The staff are amazing and I learnt so much of how to look after myself better, inside and out. My room was beautiful, and being surrounded by NZ native bush was surreal. I would recommend anyone to go on one of their retreats.

Went with a friend for a day spa for a bit of pampering and peace. Both were fulfilled beyond expectation. Stunning location and facilities, excellent staff and treatments - gorgeous food. I highly recommend this experience.

I was looking for a spa experience to have with my friend for her birthday & came across Ridge Country Retreat on the Internet. The photos of the scenery from the Retreat looked beautiful so I thought we would give it a try. Upon arrival we were greeted by David who was very informative about how our day was scheduled & showed us round the facilities. The photos on the internet did not do the Retreat justice it is absolutely stunning with its stunning scenery & relaxing tranquil feel especially while sitting round the pool area surrounded by stunning gardens & views. Our lunch was very tasty & healthy. The beauty therapists were very professional & friendly. Would highly recommend the massage & pedicure! The Retreat is kept to a very high standard of cleanliness providing robes & towels for guests to use. We had an amazing experience definitely great value for money. Highly recommend & we look forward to our next visit!

We had a great day spa at White Orchid Retreats. The hot stone tropical massage was AMAZING! The mineral pool, the native bush, the food and being able to lounge around in a beautiful space with beautiful views. The hosts were also super lovely and helpful. I would definitely recommend taking time out in this serene setting so close to the city yet feels like you're in the country.

A few months ago I was lucky enough to win a 3 day Luxury Indulge Retreat at White Orchid Retreats!!!! I took my mum and we went the weekend just gone, it was absolutely amazing! Better than we ever expected, the food was healthy and delicious and never stopped coming haha! We were there with 6 other lovely retreat goers, a brilliant small group of great woman. The staff were absolutely brilliant, we feel we have made new friends! Included in the retreat was 3 60minute beauty pamper treatments that we could choose, I got an amazing hot stone massage, a luxury pedicure which included a foot and leg massage, exfoliation mask etc and my last treatment I chose was to get my eyebrows shaped and brows and lashes tinted (instead of brows and lashes Mum got a luxury facial and she said it was heaven)! The beauty therapists were brilliant, lovely ladies and great at their jobs. So happy! Also included was some workshops and a mini makeover and yoga classes! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and would absolutely go again in a heartbeat- already planning next year! A womans retreat made for woman by woman, they have absolutely nailed it and I would recommend every single wife, mum, sister, daughter should go! The best competition ever to win, we are so thankful and lucky!

Amazing, and worthwhile! I will definitely be back with a friend next time. If you go alone I recommend taking a good book to read in between chilling in the pool and the treatments. The staff were lovely and the massage was out of this world! 5stars is not enough!

My recent total indulgence day spa was amazing. We had six hours of relaxing, pampered bliss which included outdoor geothermal pools, hot stone massage, facial, manicure and fabulous food. White Orchid is the deal, and a perfect place to unwind and treat yourself.

EVERYONE AT SOME TIME IN THEIR LIFE SHOULD DO THIS! I travelled to White Orchids “10-day Retreat at Ridge Country Retreat Tauranga New Zealand. Nestled in the bush providing ultimate privacy and relaxation however still conveniently located in close proximity to Welcome Bay Township and a myriad of other key locations including beaches, wineries and shops. My 10 Day stay at this retreat was exceptional! It is hard to critic because this beautiful health retreat is the closest thing to perfection that anyone could hope to experience, especially if they are searching for the lasting keys to health which will serve them into their coming years. This is what I found there and our hope is that I will always try to stay faithful to the knowledge that was given to me on this retreat. I believe that if I can implement these changes that I will remain healthy in my remaining years. What a gift! Go to White Orchids and you will come home renewed The Villa which we stayed in was modern and quiet and had everything you could ask for. The food was all healthy and delicious. The early morning exercise classes were fantastic and got every body going for the day. The geo thermal pools were beautiful. The treatment menu was extensive and had so many choices for everyone and the workshops that were organised were all very knowledgeable. The Dietitian was amazing and so informative. The beauty of White Orchids is you can do as much or as little as you want. I met some super lovely people that were all just wanting to feel the same way. Thank you to all the highly trained staff who are all warm and super welcoming. I highly recommend White Orchids and will definitely be heading back. Don't hesitate.......invest in yourself. A group of five busy professional mums escaped the Christmas chaos and spent the day here. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted and went into relax mode. The spa treatments were Devine. Everything about this resort is spectacular and we will be back.
