I have been coming here for several years and have always been extremely happy with the massages I receive and the professionalism of their service.
All of the therapists are trained in traditional Thai massage and provide strong or less-strong massage. They have always made sure to understand any problems that I have and to make sure that the massages are working to address those. I appreciate how they ask and adapt their technique in subsequent visits if I, or they, think the results could be improved. The additional stretching they can provide has been helpful to me. Since I have been coming most of the therapists have been Thai.
E.In Wellington for a short holiday and decided to treat myself to a (hopefully) good Thai massage. I was not disappointed. I highly recommend Amarin.
I've had Thai and other style massage all over the world, I mostly prefer Thai deep tissue massage (it hurts so good!). I always feel that an hour isn't long enough for my the masseuse to get through my big body but on this experience they did an admirable job.
I recently injured my back and they were very conscious and obliging around my concern and managed to still work me I to a sweat, knead those darn knots our of my muscles and help me relax and recharge.
The price was a bit higher than what I usually pay in Auckland ($65) but it was within walking distance of my hotel (5 min) and the only legit looking Thai massage place in the CBD. Which makes the price totally worth it.
I will be back again.
I.The massage was good but the massage therapist had a full on conversation with the therapist in the room next to mine during my 60min session - it was really distracting. The massages were a bit more expensive than what they stated on their website as well. I’ve definitely had a better Thai Massage experiences at other spas.
M.Easily one of the best massages I’ve ever had. My masseuse was so kind, professional, and great at what she does. The other guy who showed up seemed a bit useless, but it’s a holiday and maybe he was filling in? No matter, she made it impossible to be anything other than delighted with the experience. I highly recommend treating yourself to a massage here. I did the 90 minute oil massage and I’m refraining from having another one tomorrow!
D.Very relaxing massage. I have had many traditional massages in Thailand over the years and Jib at Amarin is one of the best therapists I have had. Thai style massage is not for everyone, so if you don’t like strong massage, just ask for relaxation with oil. If you do like strong massage, ask for deep tissue and you are in for a treat!
K.Best Thai Traditional Massage serves well in Wellington. They have therapeutics massage, sport massage, and aromatherapy is the best choice for those who want a really good relaxation Thai style. They are also friendly and very well in hospitality too. You on’t be disappointed for sure.
K.You will not be disappointed! First time I had been to Amarin and I dropped in on a whim as the usual place i go was closed. And I'm so glad i did! The staff were so friendly and made me feel very welcome, and I'm not going to even get started on how amazing the massage was. You will have to see for yourself. Its definitely different to any other I have had, but I will absolutely be back. :)

E.This was my first traditional Thai massage and omg it was fantastic. Dee Dee hands were like magic and she found every sore spot in my body. She was firm but also gentle if my muscles were really tight. She took very good care of me. I highly recommend to anyone who needs a firm but also relaxing massage. Dee Dee I'm coming to see you when I visit Wellington again.
D.I have had both deep tissue and relaxing massages from the lovely therapist Jib and she certainly gets to all the spots that need to be relieved of pain. I have arthritis and after a session of Thai massage with Jib my joints and muscles are much less stiff and painful.

D.Called in to see if I could have a massage after a very long flight from the UK to Auckland , jet lag and sitting another 8hrs on the train to Wellington. Dee Dee was not in but her assistant Sophia said she could do it there and then so I stayed and I must say she was excellent. She really knew what she was doing as I have had many years of experience with lots of different body massages. Sophia really made me feel so much better , I wished there was someone like her near my home town in England. Thank you Sophie.
B.One of the best Thai massage I have had. I mainly had Keysong, a male Thai magicien, but also another female. I only have praises for helping me get my back in order after a couple of injuries. Highly recommend this place.

R.One of the best therapists I have come across in all my travels. Jen can loosen up almost any tightness, but be ready for thorough deep tissue work if you request it. The initial entrance is just a staircase with a door in between two buildings off of Terrace and the main door is one floor down. The accommodations are simple but clean.
A.Great massage especially if your body is tense and needs a good crack HOWEVER this is not the cheapest venue around and for that price you would expect there to be no chatting through the rooms whilst you are getting your massage as it's rather distracting.

P.The sudio is very clean and peaceful. Deedee is a world class therapist. I travel the globe often and say Deedee is amongst the very best. If you are seeking to relax and have remedial treatment that works, ask for Deedee, I undergo remedial treatments weekly and seen being treated by Deedee a couple of times I have less pain and more movement, she is highly recommended.

Wir haben eine Stunde gebucht und die Masseurinnen haben uns sogar ein bisschen länger durchgeknetet. Die Deep Tissue Massage bei der wir aus den Varianten soft/medium/strong die härteste Variante wählten hatte es in sich. Würden wir nicht morgen schon abfliegen wären wir nochmals hingegangen.
