The moving guys were absolutely stellar! Aleki helped me pack and then did an amazing job of uplifting. Then Zac from Auckland and the local Tauranga guys were totally awesome. They all made me feel like it was effortless for them so they gave me a lot of confidence. At the destination they were very professional and made sure all items were accounted for. I would have no hesitation I. Recommend doing these particular guys - top job!

Efficient service, on time, very careful. No breakages. Only minor criticism would be a bit more clear direction prior to move day about expectations around who is packing what, how to prepare certain items etc. Didn't respond to my wife's email queries.

From my perspective everything worked as hoped for, the service was as courteous as it was efficient. Both recipients in Wellington acknowledged receipt of the goods at the times that Allied informed me they would. They have not reported on any damage that might have occurred en route. I am very happy with the service provided and am very happy to recommend Allied Moving Services warmly. Thank you.

An absolutely great experience, very professional but very friendly and excellent communication and understanding of needs of elderly clients. Would recommend the team that packed us very highly. Many thanks to Peter and the gang.

From start to finish Allied Pickfords afforded us the most professional and friendly service. They wrapped my glass furniture and lots of other valuable and fragile stuff with extreme care. This is the second time I have used their services and am equally satisfied. But... was let down badly by their subcontractors relating to carpet cleaners. They didn't turn up at prearranged time so cancelled this service.

Allied Pickford were brilliant right from when I contacted them. Great communications, on time, all packed professionally, delivered as agreed on time and no breakages whatsoever. Allied Pickford’s charges were half of what three other companies quoted us. We were pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended and would not hesitate to use again. Well done guys!

These guys are amazing! Nothing was a problem. Happy and friendly staff. Couldn't do enough for me. Asked if I was happy after they had packed my home up. Explaining how my belongings were going to get to my new destination. And when my household furniture arrived at my new destination the guys from Allied Pickfords where amazing...the 2 of them unpacked the container in no time. Asking where I wanted things...setting up beds/tvs etc...everything was so easy...and before they left..they where still asking if there was anything else they could do. Really polite...and strong men..lol 💪 I would 100 %recommend anyone for Allied Pickfords. Thanks guys 🙂 Awesome job

Fantastic packing crew in Auckland and fantastic delivery crew in Christchurch. I have used Allied before and will definitely use them again.

Moving service was for relocation of complete family household from Auckland to Blenheim, packing and unpacking, plus vehicle transport. Packing turned out to be wrapping and carton-ing everything (even worthless items like brooms or pool noodles), though they managed to forget wrapping the aluminum frame of our expensive dining table which of course then arrived with lots of ugly scratches. Same with our brand new kids swing set. Unpacking meant they put the furniture where we wanted it and emptied the contents of the cartons on the floor, just like that. Vehicle transport was subcontracted and there were no issues. Would book them again but without the (in hindsight too expensive and complicated) packing/unpacking option.

WOW,WOW,WOW, What an amazing experience moving with the Team from Allied Auckland. First things first, they were on time and very friendly, I have never seen this from a moving company before. They definitely are the Careful movers, took care of all our belonging like if it were their own. The TEAM went out of their way to make our move as smooth as possible, not a single hiccup the entire move. I am absolutely amazed to say the least. I personally will definitely recommend the Team From Allied, they took the stress out of moving. Well done and thank you once again.

Team were amazing. Everything moved quickly and efficiently with no damage. They moved my parents into a smaller house with great care and compassion. Each team worked were very experienced movers who ensured that we had everything we needed at the appropriate time. Can’t praise Josh and his team enough. Thanks guys.

My experience was great. The staff at Allied have all been super efficient, friendly and helpful. The detail they provided was exceptional and set the bar very high. The leave behind pack after their first quote was amazing and contained valuable information. Nothing was too much trouble and everything arrived intact. I would certainly use them again and highly recommend them to anyone else.

Allied Pickfords were great to work with, right from providing the quote, to packing up my entire apartment, storing all of my furniture for 4 weeks and then delivering and setting up all of the furniture. I would definitely use again.

Allied were great to deal with in general although a bit of miscommunication between departments. The moving team were outstanding. Nothing was a problem, they were extremely accomodating and very polite. Allied were very competitive and covered all bases. Cleaning, house, oven, windows, etc. They split our move between 2 addresses and provided storage. In short a one stop shop. Highly recommend.

Amazing service!!! Carla and the team were so efficient and organised with our move. Communication was excellent and the guys were ahead of schedule and moved us out into our new house faster than we expected. Everything arrived well packed, intact and undamaged. Nothing was too much trouble, and they also included a few items I had overlooked. Everything went smoothly and they helped make what would have been a more stressful and tiring process, a lot easier. Due to Alert Level 4, the uplift of our goods could not take place as planned on March 25th. However, the Auckland team were very responsive to our need to have our possessions collected as soon as possible from the rental property. The moving team arrived on the first day of Alert Level 3, at 8 a.m. and were courteous, professional and careful. We really appreciate the communication we received and the efforts that they made to facilitate our move under these extraordinary circumstances. Thanks to all involved.

We had a fantastic experience with Allied Pickfords. Right from the first consultation at home for a quote, far more professional than the opposition. I felt much more comfortable dealing with them. The guys who did the picking up and delivering were both professional, friendly and a lot of fun. They were so excellent with my two kids hanging around too. Everything delivered in one piece and on time. We were very pleased with the cleaning job they did on our house in Auckland too! Thanks guys!

The entire move (from quote to packing to unloading) was very well planned and everything went according to plan. Excellent communication and extremely helpful staff, we would be happy to use Allied Pickfords again.

We recently used Allied Pickfords to move our family home from Auckland to Taranaki. Des and the Auckland-based team were excellent to deal with through-out the moving process - from the initial consultation to the move itself. The team were efficient, friendly, respectful and helpful and we would absolutely recommend as the 1st choice to anyone

While their initial packing and inventory work was solid, upon arrival at our destination, our possessions weren't exactly 'cared for' - there was a little too much haphazard unloading and tossing of boxes; two high-end computer monitors were damaged, bike pedals went missing, and a few plates broke. Additionally, we were left with over 30 empty boxes (and their paper packing) and an incredibly vague 'just call head office to get them picked up' - of course, head office have absolutely no idea what we're talking about when we call. The online tracking of the container from one country to another was never updated - until two weeks after our container arrived and we were awash with boxes to unpack. That said, a friendly crew at both ends, and it was reassuring to have our container go via one company versus nine.

I was moving from Queenstown to a small beach town in Northland. Verbal quotes varied from $9,000 to $4,800. One company just said 'We're busy that weekend' before I'd even locked in a date. Allied Pickford were extremely reasonable, kept me informed throughout and were very careful with my belongings. The Dunedin crew packed and an Auckland crew unpacked and put everything where I wanted it. They were really pleasant and professional to deal with. Have already recommended them to others and would not use anyone else in the future.

I choose Allied Pickfords to move to Christchurch because they had a great rep (Patrick) and their insurance was miles better than any of the others. They were great, turned up on time , very good packers and not a single breakage and arrived when promised...All I wanted !

The team who helped us we're great, considerate, and efficient. The only negative was the amount of paper waste from the packing, it seemed a bit unnecessary at times. Asides from that, I would recommend and use Allied again.

Moving is stressful whatever the circumstances, Allied were awesome every step of the way.

Dear Ekta, The guys you sent to remove my possessions have just left. I told them, but I must tell you and please ensure this gets back to them, to their manager and anyone else who should know... they were absolutely fabulous in every way. On time, courteous, polite, clean, organised, helpful and obviously knowledgeable. That was for starters. They did their utmost to ensure everything made the container right up until the last items that were pretty much up against the door. I cannot speak more highly of them. Along with Patrick Bell, who initially gave me my quote, conversing a number of times with you on the phone and with your guys today I must say I have an excellent service from Allied Pickfords. I chose Allied Pickford's for my move and I loved them! the guys were so helpful packing my things and putting them into storage which was very handy while I was still house hunting! Allied took the stress out of my move and really cared for me and my family during this stressful time. Will 100% use them again.

Could not fault Allied Pickfords during our recent move from Auckland to Whangarei with them, with storage for 2 months as part of the deal. The boys were extremely polite and efficient while maintaining a warm friendly approach for what is unquestionably a horrible experience for most of us.

Fantastic from pack to unpack. All the staff were efficient and helpful, very friendly and made a stressful time very easy. We are now settled in our new house and life is good again. Carla, the lady who supervised our pack was absolutely amazing.

No problem with movement and receival I had packed myself but because I chose air freight was charged with repackaging which did not occur no damage to property Many thanks Kathy

The team were on time and worked hard. We would have liked to have known the arrival time in advance a few days before, not just the day before. Very expensive, and we discovered later that our fridge has a deep scratch on the door.

Great Job Team... Nice guys... Experienced and knew what they were doing. Went the extra mile... one chap saw my mother (aged 94) was cold, and helped to move her into the sun where it was warmer.
