A friend of ours recommended Auckland Express Movers to us and so we gave them a call to quote for an Auckland to Waitarere Beach move. Salvin dropped around at short notice and later that night we received his quote which was very good value compared to other quotes we had received. Due to Covid and changing rules around moving we had to keep changing our move dates however Salvin and his team were very flexible and in the end did our move over a Saturday / Sunday for no extra cost. We were very impressed with the level of service we received from Auckland Express Movers and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone with a move coming up.

I got recommended to Express Movers by my work colleague who had a good experience with them. Jamie from the admin team was fast in giving us a quote and in arranging the time for the move. On the day of the move, the movers were very friendly, efficient and professional. They also helped us with the disassembly and assembly of the bed which was really useful for us. Really happy with this service all round, from the initial booking to completion. Great rates (I did plenty of calling around). Movers showed up a little bit early and called on their way. Truck was clean and tidy, the packing was 10/10 with blankets and ties keeping everything in like perfect tetris. The movers worked real fast but then slowed right down for the careful objects at the new place. Would definitely recommend these movers to anyone in need.

These guys are amazing! Have been reluctant to use furniture movers again as I have had a couple of really bad experiences in the past, I am so glad I gave Auckland Express Movers a chance. They were super friendly, fast, efficient, and careful! Nothing was damaged and they took care extra care with stacking and unpacking from their truck to my new property (which was up some fairly tight stairs!) I couldn’t be happier with the service. And the fact that I sent them an online enquiry late Thursday night, they were able to confirm and book me for the very next day, almost unheard of. Fantastic service. I had a difficult driveway and whilst most of my stuff was pretty 'normal' I had an 190L oak barrel full of beer that needed moving up some outdoor stairs and these guys managed it. The house move was fast and the team just got on with it. I was a little concerned when a little truck showed up but it turned out they'd taking the initiative to send 2 smaller trucks to make getting up out steep narrow driveway better. There's no way this could have gone faster or better. I was very happy and I will use again. Thanks Team! PS they were bang on the agreed time to boot :)

Fantastic team! Sonny, Jordan and Henry was really good at packing everything into the truck and safely moving everything into two addresses. They were like the tetris king and made everything fit nicely into the storage and also considered enough spaces for the air flow at the same time. Jamie was also very prompt and clear with communications. I would highly recommend and I am going to use them again in a years time when our house is finished.

Won’t make it without Salvin and his team. We moved from Wellington to Auckland in one day with a very reasonable price! Salvin was super nice and Mover Ron and other boys were very efficient and kind. Highly recommend them. Will definitely hire them again as we gonna move a lot😀

Very professional team - they arrived early and got straight to it. They were able to help disassemble and reassemble the bed frame, and also a couple of metal racks in the garage, which helped me a lot as I have young kids. I sent Jamie a list of "big items" before the move, and they were able to send the right size truck, and I was really impressed with how it was "just right" in terms truck space. Would highly recommend them for your next move.

I booked Auckland Express Movers after Googling and reading the great reviews. It was very important for me to organize a good smooth move for my mother to her retirement village. I was impressed as I was able to discuss with Jamie in the office about a specific delicate piece of furniture and her expert advice to book 3 men actually saved me money in the end as well as protected my mum's furniture. The moving team called ahead and was ahead of schedule. They worked quickly and efficiently - with outmost care to our possessions - including TV, furniture and pot plants. At the destination, the offload was equally efficient. I liked that all the men wore logo'd high-vis and the truck was well signaged. It was professional, clean and gave me confidence. Protip: It really helps the boys if you walk through the house ahead and explain what needs to be taken (from current place) and at the new place what needs to go where. Also - take photos of the destination so any stairs / narrow passage etc are catered for. We actually finished the job in 1.5 hours because of the excellent advice received. Very impressed and have recommended it to the retirement village.

Moved furniture on 11th December from Auckland to Pokeno. Three-bedroom property done in five hours total. The whole process was thoroughly professional from excellent communications to courtesy and understanding. The two guys were bang on time, worked efficiently and worked around what was a tricky move both physically and logistically. Our property was well handled. The price was much cheaper than others and the rate is calculated door to door, not from the depot. Would 100% recommend.

This is my third move in the last six years. I was really dubious on who to hire to move all my belongs - previous movers have been awful, basically cowboys. However, I am pleased to report that Auckland Express Movers were great. The 2 guys had a system and were confident and efficient in what they did. They knew what they were doing. Salvin and his colleagues were very professional and zoro hassles during the move from Auckland to Christchurch. They did what they promissed on time. Moved on the 22nd of march. qouted for 2 bedroom but turned out we had so much more stuff than expected. 2 men came out to move furnitures. They helped with disassembly/assembly of furnitures and even installed my new tv! They were awesome and very professional. Always on the move and no rest in between. Even offered them to take a 15 minute break before unloading and bought them food and drinks but refused until they have the job finished. I was told they have another job after mine but it took longer so they had to call a different truck to sort out the next job. They didnt leave until everything was done!

Nice guys working on a very hot day, but a bit sloppy with our things (a coffee table got damaged, they left our sun umbrella stand behind). They also weren't very thinking ahead eg we asked them to put the fridge into its space in the kitchen but they didn't switch it on, so had to move it out again to switch it on! They were a bit late (which is fine because they communicated about it) but then charged us for the time they were supposed to start from. I let it go, cos didn't want conflict at the end of a difficult day. They did the job and for that I'm grateful but didn't go the extra mile.

Good quality of lifting and stacking furtiture for transport, the only downside is when you order 50 cubic track, you expect 50 and not 45 one, could fit more furniture and other items in additional 5 cubic space.
