J.My booking was handled so well with them, they were very fast and quick to respond to my emails with my queries. Delivery guys came and they were so amazing, jokes and everything. It really felt like I was getting taking care of. They handled everything well and were careful. So amazing❤️ 10/10. Keep up the good work guys and stay safe.

The two movers took great care with all my possessions and loaded and unloaded within a few hours. The entire process was swift but through and the communication leading up the the movers arrival was excellent. Highly recommend.

S.From the get go smart express were a step above all other companies. Their communication from booking, to calling and confirming the day before the move, and on the day of, set them above the rest. They handled everything with care during the move and took pride in their work. We had a lot of fragile and very valuable items. They are a little more expensive than some companies but trust me, worth every cent. The two teams I had for our moves were top notch, they were fantastic. We will only ever use this company and I will be recommending them to everyone moving. Thanks again Smart express, you guys made the moving process a breeze!
A.My sister hired Smart Express to move her furniture etc to her new house. I was assisting.
They arrived on time, packed everything into the truck faster than we would have believed possible, and unloaded and placed everything at the new house quickly and carefully.
Via, Gippy and Gary are real professionals - friendly, courteous, careful and very helpful - and we were extremely happy with the service they provided.
L.My move was complicated with three different pickups. The guys phoned as requested when they were close to the first pickup, arrived at my new home within the expected arrival time, delivered all the boxes and furniture, and all with a smile. Professional, quick, very nice people and Louise in the office who sorted out my requests was amazing. Highly recommend 😁
C.A team of 3 (Chris, John and Coltrane) became a team of 5 when the spa pool became a challenge! The team were fantastic. Accommodating, cheerful and hard working and from them we couldn't have asked more. The truck was too small for the job and Chris deserves a bigger rig (!) but three trips (we were only moving 1km) and 10 hours later we were done. Thanks to all and would certainly recommend.

I could get on with my day having a clear timeframe. Alongside Junior you delivered the furniture, assembled it, positioned it where we asked and removed all of the packaging. The place was spotless when you left.
I must also comment on how friendly and happy you both were, even though everyone was wearing masks your cheerfulness was a pleasure to encounter. Keep up the good work.

a.Smart express has a great website. I got what I needed straight off the bat. When I needed to change dates, they sorted it out for me easily and professionally. On the day of the move the guys contacted me to confirm. The movers were there promptly and got the entire job done within an hour! Friendly, professional and reliable. Would absolutely recommend.

G.We had another moving company booked in advance 20 days prior the moving, and on the morning of our moving they showed up with a van, instead of the truck we have hired.

That was meant to be delivered to our home address. Fred and Tama turned up at my work address across town and quickly realised Freedoms mistake and miscommunication. It was clear to see that Fred and Tama were rushed off their feet but kindly offered to correct Freedoms mistake and drive it to my home address as I had no way of transporting such a heavy item. I really appreciate these guys going the extra mile!

G.Arrived early, were very helpful. Vai, Rameka and Ryan all contributed to an excellent moving experience. Vai was the supremo of fitting every piece of furniture, cartons and odds and ends into the truck, it was a cross between Tetris and a jigsaw puzzle. Everything was handled with care from each package to the property itself.
I would strongly recommend this team in particular but Smart Express overall as well.

They moved me and 3 days later I found myself in a really dangerous situation in my new share house and had to go and stay at a friend’s place coz it wasn’t safe.
Thank you so much to the receptionist Sheree, who I hysterically explained my situation to and she really sweetly settled me down and squashed me into their very busy Saturday and moved me again.
Both times the guys were so lovely and soo fast! They had everything loaded and ready to go in 15 minutes…. Unbelievable!

P.After researching the internet for the best moving company around we decided to go with Smart Express. Our move was not a small one, being Auckland to Taupo. Emotions were high as it was the first time the whole family had moved in 11 years. Smart Express ensured we were informed throughout the whole move and we found the process from start to finish to be seamless and stress free. We had a very tricky item to move but the team were quick to devise a plan to get a very heavy and large object to Taupo. The moving team were very professional, friendly and efficent, they packed up the entire house very quickly. They communicated with us throughout the entire process. We highly recommend Smart Express for your next move, no matter how big or small. They certainly tick all the boxes when looking for the right moving company to move your precious belongings. Fantastically easy to deal with, on-time, and did an absolutely legend job moving our large American furniture out of our house in Parnell, through a tiny lift in our new building, and into our new apartment in Kohi. M.I was prepared to write a 5 star review for this company, but sadly, I was disappointed.
Louise was very helpful in booking my move with a 2 man truck, originally scheduled for the 6th of Feb - both of us forgot it was Waitangi Day and a Sunday, and she charged me a weekday rate. Upon realising my mistake, I switched to the 8th and was informed that while that day was available, they only had a 3 man truck available. I agreed to pay for the 3-man truck at the standard rate, and received my confirmation email.
Imagine my surprise when 2 men and their truck showed up for the move! When I called Louise, she informed me there was a mistake, but she would only be charging me for the 2-man price. All well and good, except the only reason I agreed to the 3 man booking was to make the move faster, since the rate was hourly. I did not appreciate being upsold and then let down on the day of, despite Louise's friendliness and politeness.
The company gets 4 stars only because the 2 men, Gippy and Sukh, did a fantastic job packing and moving all our things.
Overall a good experience, but I would not recommend Smart Express, nor would I use this service again. I think other companies would have better communication.

R.Amazing service despite being in Alert Level 3. Prompt service. Louise was able to arrange delivery at short notice. Pale and Ben did an awesome job despite the hot weather. They certainly earned their Vailimas! They took the greatest care with everything, including fragile items. Would highly recommend their services and already have another job booked. Fa'afetai tele!
w.Moving was good except I am missing my rubbish bin and I thought I was paying to have them unpack and except for putting away food back in fridge. I have reduced mobility and can only stand for a short time without extreme pain.
T.Honestly the best company I have worked with. I called Smart Express at approximately 1230 hours as another company cancelled last minute. By 1545 they had arrived at my doorstep. So professional, easy to talk to, great communication from start to finish. Very funny guys who did the pick up, and made the process so easy and stress free. Other companies charge so much more (talking triple in some cases) and the service does not match the price in my previous experiences. This company has very very reasonable prices, best on the market, and their service goes above and beyond. Thank you soo much for making my day stress free, and will definitely be using you in the future and will recommend you to everyone!! Worthy of more than 5 stars

M.They guys did a great job, they are more expensive than the rest but they do the job properly, and are responsive. Before Smart Express another company wasted our time for 5 days before telling us they can't do the job on Sunday because they couldn't find a driver!!! Smart Express accepted the job, quoted properly, confirmed immediately, sent the guys on time and did the job properly. No incidents or even scratch on any of the furniture, really happy with the work.

Customer service from the call centre was friendly and inviting with clear communication. Service from the movers was also friendly, courteous, a bit ahead of time, and efficient.
All the people we spoke with from Smart Express were easy to talk with, friendly, knowledgeable, and had the tone of genuine care for us and our move. There was also clear and empathetic communication, and I mean that in the sense the folks at Smart Express know to keep their customers informed early and to manage expectations.
The two guys who did the move were legends. They moved all our stuff quick and were strong as. One of the guys carried a tallboy by himself (one that'd normally be a two man carry) and he's just chatting away like it was nothing. The were ahead of schedule and rang early to see whether that worked for us, then text to let us know they were on their way.
One notable thing: we have a large couch but had a very narrow doorway to get it through which requires a particular way to navigate the couch through. Before I could even pull up the photos of how we got it in, the guys had it through clean and were heading to the van. That really blew me away at how efficient and effective they were at their jobs.
Again, phenomenal all around and we recommend 100%. We know who we'll call for our next move.

First class customer service from the get-go in setting our move up (thanks Hilary), they were very responsive, informative and went the extra mile (such as sending a member of their ops team out to look at access at our house before the day). Gave us absolute confidence in using them.
The movers on the day (Sam and Ray) continued that level of service. They were friendly, hard-working, worked fast but with the utmost care and professionalism and were great with our kids too. They dealt with a bit of a tricky pickup address (steep drive, neighbours needing them to move the van, small children wanting to help, awkward stairs etc.) with ease and patience. Sam also flagged when dismantling a piece of furniture may take too long, and when a plant pot would likely leak all over our stuff in the van, and came up with solutions. It was that over and above care that we were really impressed with.

They arrived on time and worked tirelessly for five hours. They packed all the items carefully and ensured they were all safe and kept secure during transportation. Everything in the unit has been so brilliantly stacked to save space and maintain the safe storage of the items. A.First time I used a moving company and was a great experience. Well worth using these guys. Made our house move so much easier. Had our 3 bedroom house moved in 4 hours. No damage, items moved carefully and they just do the job. I asked them to take everything in my garage and they just did it and fast. Even random junk and difficult to pack stuff I thought might get left all arrived at my new house! They have blankets and pack everything well!

The two gentleman very quickly packed my things into the truck and were careful with fragile items. They had to do some unpacking and creative re-packing at a storage unit before arriving at our destination where they unpacked very efficiently, with the job taking no more than 2-hours. I spoke to 3 different companies and chose Smart Express firstly because of Kyles professional approach on his visit, that followed through right to the end with the removal guys.The 3 guys that did my removal Karl, Dave and Richard were skilled at wrapping my delicate pieces of furniture. They came on time, drove a long way to my destination and unloaded efficiently without stopping until everthing was put in its place,not one piece damaged. We were not sure on what size and such having not moved in 14 years. The chap on the phone talked us through it and we arrived at decision for a truck with three movers (we have a cottage upright piano). The team arrived on time and loaded up the truck in quick smart time. They were careful and did all the hard work leaving us to clean and relax a little.all of the team were professional and the team boss talked us through the process and asked our opinions and what we wanted. He offered advice and solutions as the need arose. The met us at our new home and emptied the truck again in quick smart time. They put everything where was asked, especially helpful with the heavy items. They were careful of our stuff. The did the job nice and fast and the price came out spot on. Far cheaper than the people who were moving out! They gave us an extra fella for free on top of all the rest! Believe the reviews with this moving company, we could not have wished for a better experience. They made what has been a tough experience all round so much easier. K.I went to collect a flat pack table but it didn't fit into the back of my car. The flat pack assembly man was going to be at my place for an hour - after that I would have to wait ten days. I rang Man and a Van in a panic and to my surprise and delight, they turned up at the furniture store and delivered the table to me within half an hour! On a Saturday morning - admittedly it was early! I was so pleased. I was setting up an apartment and feeling bereft without furniture - I felt like I was camping. We had a huge amount of items to move but they completed the job surprisingly quick, as well as being very careful and so polite and friendly the whole way through. Ben phoned both seller and buyer on the way to pick-up and phoned the recipient on his way to the delivery address. The whole job was very efficient and stress free. Worth six stars.

Mine was a pretty easy move, but with a lot of smaller bags, and Alex didn't complain one bit. Even when we had issue with the elevator being occupied (with other movers) from the building I was moving from, and we had to take the stairs. Weather wasn't on our side either, with some rain, but all in all, got the move done efficiently and effectively.

Booked a truck, but had concerns on how its gonna fit my driveway. They sent a team member to the place we were planning to move on just to make sure the driveway. So they suggested to use the van instead of the Truck. Saved me a big hazzle. The movers were super friendly and right on time. They were so fast and did not waste a single second. They efficiently and securely pack everything. At the end, it only took two turns in two hours to finish the delivery. I will recommend and will use SmartExpress in future without a doubt.

h.I have used them a number of times and until the last move had been very pleased with the service. Unfortunately on my last move after I’ve settled in I’ve noticed the corner of a wooden bedside cabinet has been damaged and there is a large tear in the underside of a chair squab. They generally always want to turn up a good half hour to hour before the time booked, which while great to be prompt is a little too ahead of schedule. They didn’t charge until they started the job but in this case I suspect that the rushing to get to the next one affected the attention to care with my items.
K.Our house move was a difficult job which involved moving an unusually heavy bed base from a 2 storey home into a 3 storey home and Smart Express managed the challenging circumstances well.
Neil and Steve (Movers) were efficient, careful and determined ensuring all furniture made it to the correct floor while navigating very narrow staircases and doorways.
Hamish (Despatch) organise additional movers for the final stage of the move to make sure the heavy bed made it all the way to the 3rd Storey.
The additional movers (unsure of names sorry) had a great attitude considering the difficult job they had joined.
Communication on the day kept us informed of arrival time & when moving team originally assigned to our job ran over time a replacement team was organised within an hour of our originally booked slot.
This is the second time I have used Smart Express and I would definitely use them again.

R.Although it has been a while since Chris and Jay helped us moving to our new house, it just remember this note I wrote on my phone to remind me to write them a review. Chris and Jay are very friendly people can would really take care of your property. They would ask me whether my parents would prefer them to take their shoes off or put some sheet to cover the door way which really showed their understanding to different cultures. They are very efficient and won't overcharge you for an extra 5 minutes. Highly recommend!

D.Great move in the weekend by Jimmy, Preet and Prince. Friendly, helpful and super efficient. Big move got done simply and without a hassle - and right on time. They also managed to organise the weather and move between rain showers! I reckon Smart Express should add an empty box collection to their service though, to reuse for other clients - seems a shame to send all those beautifully folded boxes to the landfill!

C.Allai - Jacob did an excellent job of relocating Mum's furniture and personal effects from Ryman Bert Sutcliffe, Birkenhead to Ryman William Sanders, Devonport. They kept us updated as to their whereabouts and arrival times. Everything ran like clockwork and although teh job took longer than they expected, they carried on with their work in a positive, cheery and courteous manner throughout. Two good guys who took their job seriously and did it very well and to our complete satisfaction.

My husband and I are overseas immigrants and we have mostly hand me downs stuff but the movers handle everything with extreme care, they put blankets to prevent things being scratched. K.I had furniture delivered a couple of weeks ago courtesy of Tiwana and Jazz from smartexpress. Everything (king size bed, couch and flat packs) got to my 3rd floor flat without a hitch! All done in about 20 minutes. Very professional and friendly guys too. Happy with the delivery service. :).
b.3 men 2 vans a little late but did inform me they were runnimg late. The guys that turned up were very polite and helful all in all good service and good value.
T.The crew of Fita and Sulu were awesome, so strong, they made light work of our 3 bedroom house move. Friendly, always smiling, courteous, these guys were very very good. Highly recommended.

S.I contacted Smart Express because I needed some personal effects moved from warehouse to another location. They responded promptly to my enquiry and more importantly communicated directly with the people in both locations to coordinate the pickup and delivery. This was very important to me as I currently live in the UK so was nice to have someone just take care of things. Fantastic service and thank you.

S.FURTHER UPDATE Smart Express and I have reached an amicable settlement.
UPDATE Bad News. Despite its apology (which I appreciate) Smart Express has failed to take responsibility for the poor and neglectful conduct of its staff. Instead it has raised irrelevancies and inaccuracies to avoid paying for my damaged and missing gear. Its indemnity Insurer has even failed to contact me which is strange. This behaviour is unprofessional and shoddy.Its really upsetting adding to the stress and work it's already caused. You should be able to rely on your Removalist. I strongly recommend you go to one of the other many moving companies out there.
Be WARNED. I just hired Smart Express to move to my new place and had the most awful experience. This included poor attitude and service, walking out on uncompleted job, damage and considerable loss of gear. They've also told me they failed to arrange the transit insurance I paid for.
Since this happened last Friday, Smart Express have not yet apologised or approached me to deal with this terribly upsetting experience. I'm not sure what's going on as it's early days so watch this space. I suggest you use another mover until whatever's happened there gets sorted.
T.Siah and Sam were very friendly, patient and helpful with my delivery. They also helped me remove the plastics and place my lounge suite to where I wanted. Great service and very nice people! Highly recommend them!!!
