We had to arrange our move very quickly and deal with all those stresses of moving. From the quote to the packing and the removal of our household items was superb - our packer was simply exceptional and the guys who had to remove everything from our house need medals as we had a steep driveway and were just amazing. Thank you so much. Only comment is that the delivery did not go so smoothly - but we got there in the end and the guys on the ground moving out stuff were great. My advice is to ensure a visit by the local office is carried out to alleviate issues on the day. Overall though would happily recommend The Moving Company.

I'm absolutely made up with the moving company. I dealt with toni and she made the whole process so easy. We are relocating overseas and the whole thing around shipping your personal belongings across the other side of the world can seem quite daunting but she was always only a phone call away. The guys that came and collected all our items where great and very thorough when it came to the packaging as to make sure nothing got damaged in transit. I cant recommend this company enough!

We used TMC to move from Auckland to Christchurch, I am very pleased with the service provided. They packed our belongings well, wrapped our bed mattress and packed my bike very nicely. Ravisha, the customer service manager who helped me organize the move was very helpful with any questions I had. The only issues I had was that the operations managers were slow to contact me back.

Initially it's Rav the customer services manager who organized our move preparation and coordination in Auckland, and she did an amazing job. Her communication was clear, efficient, she was friendly, proactive and swift to reply, really efficient. Then on the moving date her team arrived to pack up and fill the container. They took care of our stuff with a great attitude, working hard but always with a smile. This really helped us to relax as we knew we were in good hands. Arriving in Christchurch we were informed about when our container would arrive and when it will go into storage. I was even able to pick up one thing I left inside the container during the storage period, which was really important to us. The delivery of the container was smooth, painless and really quick, the team again did a really good job and was very friendly too. Overall The Moving Company has done a fantastic job and we're really happy with the high level of service the team have provided. Their professionalism and efficiency have really made it easier for us to relocate to the South Island and we highly recommend them for your next move, it was a top job. 5 stars well deserved!

What an amazing company to deal with!! Starting right from the time of booking and the most outstanding customer service provided by Rav in the office! She was amazing throughout this very stressful process. They say that moving house ranks as one of the most stressful and mentally draining experiences on any person and if we hadn’t used The Moving Company it certainly would have been! The team of movers and the the very modern truck were on time!! They did a fantastic job of packing up our old place and ensured that all of our items were handled as if they were brand new!! Once they had packed up the truck they then arrived at our brand new house. Moving Made Easy The communication and professionalism from the first contact was outstanding and understanding. The Moving Company did an awesome job on my intercity move. They made the whole moving experience easy and stress free, even with all the changes and multiple pick up and delivery addresses. The packers did a great job at a very reasonable rate and all of my items were well looked after. The moving guys were awesome, it was just my mum and I moving so it was so nice that they checked where I wanted things to go, put up the beds, and made sure that we could access everything easily around the boxes. I was very apprehensive while waiting for the removal guys to deliver my treasured belongings from the UK due to many bad experiences from rude and unhelpful delivery men in the past who couldn't care less about how they handled my belongings but I knew my fears were unfounded as soon as these movers knocked on my door. not only did they let me know there arrival time they all actually introduced themselves on arrival, they were very polite, extremely helpful and treated my belongings with respect and I can honestly say that these three guys were the most professional movers I have ever dealt with which made this move completely stress free. I have just immigrated from South Africa to New Zealand. As part of that process we choose to take our furniture with us and hence required a 40ft container. We chose to use Ecotrans in South Africa as they came highly recommended with great pricing. Now for someone that is very fussy I sometimes choose to spend more to get better quality, however Kevin was so professional upfront with my hubby we had a good feeling that this was for real. Ecotrans arrived and packed everything for us. Our furniture was wrapped so well, I am still stiff from trying to pull off everything. Nothing arrived broken or stolen. Once the goods hit the ship we had a link to track the ship so we knew when to expect it. "The Moving Company" here in NZ were great. Once the goods arrived they kept us up to date! The day of arrival the men that brought my furniture were amazing. I was a women on my own still, responsible to get a 40Ft container sorted, with very heavy wood furniture in it. Our driveway was slightly steep so the gents could not park the van in it, yet they managed to unpack everything with a smile and a giggle on the way too. They were so professional. Worked till close to 9 until all our furniture was assembled and placed it in the correct positions as well. By the end of that day I was so IMPRESSED and GRATEFUL to this team. As it is team work that got our things here safe and sound. 2 months from pack to ship, to clear, to delivery, great price, great on route service and fantastic delivery!!
