I have moved twice with this company now and both moves have been incredibly smooth. Smooth Movers were flexible when the place I was moving into flooded at the very last moment, and absolutely fabulous with timings - They were punctual and efficient - The driver made some very skilled manoeuvres. They used a huge truck with no need for extra trips. The movers were friendly and professional - keeping in touch with me every step of the way. I want all of my future moves to be through Smooth Movers and can't recommend them highly enough! The only reason I have such a delay in posting this review (they helped me in Dec 2019 and July 2020) is because my sister just used a removal service and they did not compare. They didn't rate a 1 in my book. It just helped me remember how wonderful Smooth Movers are... and miss their fabulous service more as a result.

We used Smooth Movers a month ago, the office lady that took our booking and sent through all paper work was very friendly and efficient. A week before our move she contacted us again to confirm all arrangements. The truck and movers turned up on time, they where very careful with all furniture and box's, at our New home everything was unloaded carefully and placed where we required. They put legs and headboards on the beds and even installed our washing machine. Nothing was broken or chipped Highly recommend, if ever moving again we would definitely be using them again.

Can't speak highly enough - absolutely delighted with all aspects of our move courtesy of Smooth Movers. Communication was tops from initial enquiry to when guys finished the move - everything was exactly as promised including arriving at 0800hrs. All Smooth Mover staff were a credit to the company acting in a highly professional manner throughout Definitely recommend The Smooth Mover for your next move.

Today I used The Smooth Mover's packing service. I had Daniel and couldnt have got anyone better. First class service, Daniel didn't stop until all finished. Fabulous job, what a relief to have someone who was so professional, courteous and polite. Well done Smooth Mover.

We recently used Smooth Movers to move a house load from Auckland to Matarangi. We can not recommend the company highly enough. Gavan was great to deal with and made what is often a stressful process easy and efficient. Thank you so much!

We have some heave comercial dryers about 450 KG to move in a store from very short door. They arrived early morning on time no complaints, no drama. They did very good job in smart way. Easy communication with their office and excellent rate. Highly recommended.

Best moving company before they even started moving us. The amount of communication we had and discussion about what will work for our needs was top notch. On the day no time was wasted but all the care and expertise was put into the job. Well organized, best communication, and of course the smoothest move... If you dont use this company to move your worldly goods you are missing out. 10/10, would not use anyone else but the Smooth Mover ever again.

What a great experience with these fab guys. From meeting Darren initially - and managing Day 1 of the move along with Craig+James and on day 2, AJ with James and Keith. We couldn't be happier. Nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend the teams and will be using them again for the next move.

The guys were efficient however everything felt a bit rushed. They showed up earlier than expected. They made two trips which was great however as they were rushing they damaged several items including a dent in the wall. I would have paid more money for slower moving and care with furniture.

Absolutely professional from first contact through to final invoice. Communication and quote was exceptionally accurate. No hidden fees or cash up front - simply straight forward and true to their word. The two man team although young did an incredible job and managed to fit everything into the storage locker even when I thought I might have gone one smaller than I needed. Thought, planning & energy with a can do attitude stood out clearly as did the obvious training and depth of experience in moving household and personal effects. 10/10

This company has to be the best!! Efficient communication from start to finish and the move was indeed "smooth". Paul and Alan worked like beavers. Nothing was too much trouble. They took care with everything and I was absolutely blown away when everything was put in place at the new house. They even organized the sheds into what goes where and always asked where I wanted everything placed. This has made the job of moving and unpacking sooooo much easier. Thank you so very much. I remain forever grateful and sing your praises to everyone.

These guys are the rock stars of moving, no job too big or small and we have used them several times over the last year, from the very complicated to the simple they have been consistently amazing to work with. Respectful of our houses, belongings and our individual requirements.

What a great job these guys did. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They took the stress out of what is normally a very awkward experience and I feel it only fair to express my satisfaction. After being let down by our mover at the last minute Smooth Mover step up to the plate with faultless service. They arrived within an hour of our urgent phone call. Hi Guys I just wanted to say thank you to Paul and Liam who moved me last Wednesday 20th March, The Smooth Mover have been by far the best moving company I have dealt with hands down. And I have moved a few times over the years. From the customer service on the phone and email confirmation at the start to the actual day of moving everyone was professional and friendly. On the actual day of the move Paul and Liam arrived 5 mins ahead of time, were friendly, professional, efficient and did not waste any time. They looked after my furniture as if it was their own, this is the first time nothing has been scratched by a moving company. The move itself did not take long at all and I was in my new home quicker than I had expected. What a brilliant team of guys at smooth movers. We also have to say the fittest & nicest. Swooped in on the Thursday morning introduced themselves to us & then got on with loading. Not usually one for giving places a plug on Facebook or Google but these guys were genuinely fantastic. Well priced, on time, good communication, fast and took good care of stuff. Shrink wrapped next to everything and well packed. Would definitely use them again.

i was dissapointed after looking at reviews and talking to 2 staff that had used them thought the move would be stress free and seamless. the driver was great at handling my furniture, they arrived on time however the truck was two small which meant 2 trips!! therefore additional costs, when talking to the staff about this they said yes they had to do multipule trips to!! when i moved to the property i moved from with the same furniture it took 1 truck i do question if they only have small trucks therefore double the time and distance. once again both office staff and the driver were great but felt like i was putting co-worker out. Not a good shift.

I used Smooth Movers for all my big furniture. They were awesome. The guys were polite, interactive, explained what they were doing and so very very helpful. There were 2 young guys and one slightly older and the interaction was great to see. Thank you. Sandra

As soon as I was provided with my moving date I immediately rang Gavan to book my moving team. Having used The Smooth Mover, some years ago, there was no other choice as far as I was concerned… Gavan’s team is far and away the best company to call for your shift to your new home. When the team arrived, spot on time, each man introduced himself, shook my hand and then the wonderful experience started in earnest! AJ, Keith, Carl, Chris and Liam kept up a fabulously joyous banter that shows they obviously love what they do, and how well they get on with each other. When a friend rang to ask how the move was going (and to offer sympathetic support for the event) I was in a state of total ‘busy relaxation’ and was thoroughly enjoying the whole experience of moving… Really? Absolutely! The politeness, professionalism, respect for my belongings, and down right ‘awesomeness’ of this team turned what could have been such a stressful day into one full of fun and laughter. I award The Smooth Mover, and his team, my highest praise.

Had to move some gear for our daughter into storage at Tarndale Grove. Super friendly staff and very obliging with helping get the gear stored. Would recommend this company their storage facility is also clean and well organized a credit to their company well Done :-)
